Eds, how likely is it Everton will sell lookman? will they consider loaning him out? From a selfish perspective I'd love Everton to keep him and integrate him more and more into the team, and give him a chance to prove his worth. If however Silva can't give him such assurances and the lad is doing all he can in training (which apparently he is) then why not let him go out. even if it is on loan, surely it's in the club's interest for him to play regularly rather than sit on bench. presumably behind Bernard.

{Ed001's Note - if the price Everton want is reached they will let him go.}

. we just saw line up and he's not even on bench. think this one is a done deal. pity.

{Ed001's Note - unfortunately the lad wants a move and the club do not want to force an unhappy player to stay.}

Absolutely. would love the lad to have had his chance though ed.

{Ed001's Note - he showed in the Bundesliga he is a good option, seems a strange move to replace him with Bernard, who I am not in the slightest bit convinced with. Lookman was unhappy that he was pretty much told from the moment Silva came in that he was not going to be any more than a back up, rather than being told he could fight for a position. This is what happens when you tell players that. They want to feel they have a chance if they perform well, rather than being told he is not ready.}

I’d let him go - I got sick of lakaku constantly being linked to leaving. He obviously wants off - get 28 million for him. That’s Mina paid for.

I know he is small but I also am not convinced, like Klaasen there is a reason why the big Clubs do not go in for these players.

How do you know what lookman was told?
