Brilliant team performance today! . 1 criticism would be that we still aren't clinical enough and as we saw against united it punishes you if you don't take your chances against the " bigger" sides.

How can you be any more clinical than having 3 shots on target and scoring all three. However I take it that a lot of those shots off target should have hit the back of the net?

Its the conceding that concerns me mate. We keep scoring 2 and 3 goals a game or at least 1. Successful teams have to learn how not to leak goals at the other end. That is why we have dropped points. Too many 2-2 draws and 2-1 losses. Goals are aplenty both ends. If we stop conceding we will win more games. Simple.

Just to make my point LewBlue. Liverpool have scored 20 and conceded 4. We have scored 19 and conceded 15. Goals for are not a problem for us. its the goals against doing the damage.

Here comes a cynical comment in support of degsyp who to be fair tells it how it is. Doesn't the 19 for 15 against smack of another super attacking tactician, one Mr Martinez ;-)
{Ed025's Note - the thing is BCT that roberto had 2 seasons to put that right and never did, marco has had 11 games so to compare them at this early stage in his tenure is naive at best mate, if after 2 years its still the same then of course you and degsy have a point but until then i suggest we just enjoy the fabulous entertainment that we are witnessing..

Now you have just made me miserable Ed. Last count I/ We have 6 Grand Kids, 4 Kids and the rest including us add up to a grand total of 17 or 18 coming round to scoff 'my' booze, 'my' food. 'Love you Grand Dad' ********* humbug.

Ed025. My week. Mon Me - Gym 0600, Grand Daughter (2) play, feed and swimming at 1400. Tues Me - Gym/ Swim 0600, wife to classes WTF! Pick up Grand Daughter (2) . Wed Me - Gym 0600, Grand Daughter (2) play and then to Sensory. The other 3 Mon to Friday take to School pick up from School. Get my drift! LOL. So that is work with no pay working week and paying taxes on pension on earnings I have already paid tax on. Yep us old sods are miserable ******. But come Saturday/ Sunday during the season I have my beloved Everton, nobody can take that away from me. So Scrooge it is!
