I thought it was a cows arse with a banjo, although I am open to the frying pan alternative. My wife used to call Frank Lampard (when he played for England) “cowsarse banjo†as always seemed to miss. A lot of the humour seems to be disappearing I remember we called our own Stuart Barlow “jigsawâ€, with affection although he was not the worlds greatest striker .
