Watching the game I don't care how many people think we have improved the squad but we are poor - a million miles away from top 6 - yes a bit unlucky with the disallowed goal but the defending is shocking - Pickford needs a good talking too also.

In another guise I asked what had Silva done to deserve all the accolades he gets, I also said along with others (getting some flack as well I may add) , that the bloke never seems to stay long in one place. Watford fell apart last Christmas and used us as the excuse, just remember that.

Think the lad is a good player actually. Silva is for me a good coach and at the start of the season we played with no fear, perhaps we need to take a leaf from the so-called neanderthal books of Alardyce and employ a sports psychologist. Grasping at straws I know. Played a lot of football in my time, (pretty rubbish to be honest, but very very fit) but got my coaching badges LOL.

I ate some humble pie a few months back and said silver had proven me wrong but it's starting to look like he is out of his depth and I was right to be worried about his appointment.

Tactics issue today tried to go toe to toe with one of best attacks on there good day. Showed up how much we miss Gueye and how much Davies is off being top player. He can get there but miles away still. We could have scored 4 but they could have scored 10. Mind you better than being 3 nil down after 20minutes without trying to score like last year.

i do rate baines but i dnt see what difference he would make as i think dinge is just as good if not better.

Cookie I totally agree can’t go toe to toe yet with teams in the top 4. They are more clinical and shows we aren’t ready yet.
These teams are very good at taking chances and can’t be giving goals away in the premier league.
