Salah not to be charged with simulation by the FA after his blatant dive yesterday. The FA say that because there was contact, albeit minimal, he won’t be charged? I’m sure that would have applied to Niasse against Palace wouldn’t it?

Agree5 Disagree0

Fair to say all we ask for is consistency, we accepted the Niasse ban, yet time and again, other players are getting away with it week in week out.

I may be wrong but only Niasse and a West Ham player have faced bans for simulation.

The Salah and Martial one got swept under the carpet, whereas Niasse was greeted with banner headline of diving cheat and hung out to dry by the media.

That is the way has gone, one rule for the top boys, another for the rest.

The sooner they have a breakaway super league, the better because at the moment, our game is being destroyed by biased towards the top teams.

you can't mean that about the super league mate that will be the end ov us.

I do Johny, see how they do on an equal par, after a few seasons of not winning anything they would miss the Premier leagues from their Countries.

At least we would be on an equal footing with the rest and hopefully an end to the bias.

name any half decent player who would sign with a team. outside the super leagie, it would devalue the league so much we would suddenly be in the equivalent of league 1 mate we would lose all the sky money as the super league would get it all and we would crash as a business.

The only way for me for the game to be killed off is if they relaxed the fair play rule in transfers in the super league.

Let’s not forget all those top teams and only one trophy available for winning the league, at the moment those teams have a huge advantage in their leagues, it would not be so easy in a super league.

My guess after a few seasons, some of those teams would want to revert back to their own domestic leagues.

Sky dictate now without the slightest worry of inconveniencing fans with fixture changes, could even see a return of 3pm kick offs on a Saturday afternoon.

None of the above will not happen Johny, clubs are not that stupid to jump ship and form a super league.

{Ed002's Note - There is another meeting with it on the agenda in three weeks.}
