Before we get carried away with the "bring back Sam" brigade, let's just remember he spent 55m on two players. Walcott and Tosun. Mmmm.

Agree1 Disagree0

Who has advocated bringing back Sam? If that's what you read into my post below you are very much mistaken lad. He may have stabalised the club to some degree, but he was one of the dullest most uninspiring managers I have ever known.

And finished 8th Woeburn hmmmm! Nobody is saying bring back Sam but just saying you get what it says on the can. The more sensible one's on here though, did warn about Mr Silva and his CV lack of in the Prem. It baffles me it really does. I watched that yesterday and could not believe my eyes. That Mr Silva was not nervousness but lack of preparedness, Leicester knew we had nothing on the right so put more into shackling our left. Basics such as crossing, missing the first man either didn't miss, were overhit or floated into so it was meat and drink to their big lump of CB. As it says this is the worse home record since Martinez. Yet still acceptable to some because at least we are playing pretty football. Then we have others booing their own Team, wtf does that achieve. Not advocating getting rid (yet) , but someone at the Club needs to have a word and tell him to get a grip. My Grandson was with us yesterday (Liverpool) he was shouting and urging with the rest around us, good for him.

And both played so much better under SA it looks like they are struggling with the style of football we play under Silva. We are too easy to contain just mark/ press Gomez and Siggy and let Gueye and the two centre half's have as much time on the ball as they want it slows the play down making it easier to mark our wide playersn not that Walcott needs much marking at the moment. Whoever plays up top is on to a hiding to nothing as we never get the ball forward fast enough often enough. When we do we look a completely different side.

Both played better? We bought them as strikers and they spent most of there time defending .
Finished 8th, Jesus is that what we aspire to now.
H wasn't having a pop at you and I'm not your lad.
Some people have accepted failure for so long they are scared of change and would rather moan than get behind their team. Silva has been in the job for a few months. Will need at least two seasons before we see his true team emerge.
And before you all sat that's another two years wasted, well what have we done for the last twenty odd years?
On the plus side it will give you all something to carry on moaning about, so there's a positive.

You're right WB, he does need time. Time to sort out the mess created by his predecessors. Patience however is a virtue that is in short supply for most football supporters.

WB you made the statement about SA spending money on players I just stated that imo both played better under SA especially Walcott. Also as a team imo we are currently to easy to play against. Oh and on a personal point I would rather watch rubbish winning football that pretty loosing football but that's just me.

What I actually think is that some just watch the highlights or are blind to failure. Mr Silva will not improve us, 3 jobs in the Prem. Six months with Hull - relegated - yes they were on the way down and he couldn't stop that, so not the Messiah. 6 months at Watford come Christmas and it all dropped to bits, Richarlison coincidentally lost form along with others at the same time. Everton went calling so were a convenient excuse from Watford for his sacking, also a good (Although not voiced) excuse for Silva himself. Now 6 months into this tenure Everton lose form and confidence oh and Richarlison has lost sparkle. 3 Clubs in the Prem so far same road travelled is what I point out. Alardyce is correct in his latest (no I do not want him back) . It is basic stuff, make the Team very hard to play against and very hard to score against should be the first priority, once you think you have that tagged, then work on your attack philosophy.
