Interesting article in Guardian today ahead of derby in which the reds' Robertson talks about Silva's influence on him at Hull. Says Silva's time there was pivotal.
(Warning though, the rest of the article just about the reds)
I'd be interested in what people think of it. It's a new slant on this part of Silva's career which his critics tend to write off (on this site and elsewhere) as a failure.

Yeah interesting. Plenty of players formerly managed by Silva have only good things to say about him. And most say he has improved them.
What has Hull being relegated got to do with the piece DC?
It's about a player managed by Silva saying he improved him, not running him.

DC has tunnel vision Smit. We could win 10-0 today and Silva will still be at fault for it not being 11-0. let's all pull together for one day for gods sake.

Totally agree Pierre, not sure what Walcott brings to the team, he’s our poorest player.
