Doing alright up to Half Time, then Silva must have been reading some of his fans accolades and from that believed he is a good manager so made the astute substitutions which resulted in bringing Newcastle onto us. 30 games in and some will still say this isn't Silvas Team and he needs time. Of all the Managers we have had, this appointment has been the stupidest.
{Ed025's Note - to be fair we played ok and were in complete charge...until calamity pickford had 2 brain farts of epic proportion and cost us big time, we would have been better if he had been sent off to be honest DFS..

Yes his name is Silva, I feel very sorry for our supporters that travel on a cold day to watch the rubbish played by Everton they deserve better as we all do.

the problem with pickford is that he simply is not learning by his mistakes which is areal worry he does not command his area like a top class keeper should and the defence is shambolic all the time .
{Ed025's Note - the defence was good against liverpool alan, but when you have a keeper who is an accident waiting to happen its hard for them to be confident mate..

I watched it Ed025, now a days I can't get to away games but never the less on match day (away) I always watch the live game. To be fair we did play okay but had some narrow squeaks even in the first half. Yes Pickford is an idiot (the lad is missing a couple of those brain cells you need to take on board instruction) but our defence in the centre is bloomin awful. Not sure if it is zonal marking or not but something is not right. Alardyce (yes we all know) to be fair was getting to grips but Silva was always waiting in the wings, having been promised the job, once the dust settled. As I said earlier, I honestly believe that Silva has to go and go now, it will cost us but save us money in the longer run. We need to build our prestige (building a new stadium etc) and for that we need someone who knows what it is to succeed and is proven tactically aware. My choice would be Benitez but whether he would come if asked is a long shot. Wonder if Ashley was asked if he wanted to do a straight swap LOL.
