If we could get Rondon, realistically he could achieve 10 to 12 goals in a season along with another 10 to 12 goals from DCL and maybe 5 or 6 from Simms then that's nearly 30 goals from the one position. That's the way to go for next season, forget the one main striker that will get you 25 to 30 goals a season they are just not available
This way we get to blood our youngsters like Simms and Hornby,

Thing is Uran, they will not achieve those cumulative figures from one position. It would mean sharing that same position throughout the season and then they would need to achieve a goal every two games, which they currently aren't getting near to. unless of course one of them has a fantastic record coming off the bench, which is again doubtful.
DCL is doing as good a job as Rondon would and is in his early 20s. No need to buy another similar player, just get a little terrier who can offer something different when we need to change things up.
Or a replacement fo Wallcott who can not only pass, dribble and cross. But score a few too.
More than that though, I feel we need a general to bark orders around when we need to manage the game in play. That Newcastle result proved that whilst there are goals in the team, there sure isn't a leader capable of stopping the likes of Newcastle getting an unlikely comeback under their belts.

I disagree TA, one striker can’t run for 90 minutes, sprinting, running the line, so the striker on the bench will have a massive part to play, The striker we bring on must be of the same quality, at this moment we don’t have this in Tosun and Oumar Niasse.

He's not going to come just to warm our bench and he ain't getting in the team in front of DCL.
