Very good shout if true. Only 19 but a regular at Anderlecht. Better prospect than eg Redmond IMO

Not heard anything about that, but I would love it, I really rate this guy. But I don't think Anderlecht would let him go, they already have there team to reconstruct afer letting several players leave

We have 10 m still to spend my money going and moses to be our next signing

What about a punt on Darren Bent? Can't knock his scoring record and prob want to prove something after last season. Plus with the possibility of World Cup coming along etc?

As many have said we need to strengthen CM position. Diame would be perfect and plus Martinez has worked with him at wigan

To be honest, I like Gibson but I do agree we may need another CM in place of Osman. Don't get me wrong he's been good the last couple of seasons for us but I think he is getting on a bit now and need to look at younger talent

Don't forget lads we have Barkley who can play there give the lad a good couple of games

Fer having medical at Norwich, will be announced later today, five year deal. Makes you wonder whether he failed his medical or whether Moyes pulled the plug when he knew he was United bound. Similarly strange how we signed Josh Stones although he was in the process of signing for Wigan when we swooped in for him.

Would have made sense for him to buy fer in January. if Ye knew he was off to utd it would've been easier to take fellaini with himif fer was already here

Fer was a back up plan in case Fellaini left in Jan. when it was clear Felly was staying we had to pull the plug on Fer, hence the nonsense about his knee

Martinez clearly does not want him no matter how much Fer would like to sign for us

Moyes would have signed Fer (the nonsense conspiracy theories are getting rediculous), Martinez has his own targets and Fer wasn't one of them. No mystery here.

Also, Everton were interested in John Stones for a while before anybody placed any bids and the only reason it was a late bid was because he wasn't first choice signing, cash became available when other options disappeared.

Looks like everton are set to announce the loan signing of Barcelona wonder kid defaleu very soon, possibly even today according to reports in Spain, apparently his agent is in liverpool today to tie up the deal. Wow, what a signing he will be, & 4 x signings in 48 hours- I can't cope with this, how many more will come in I wonder?

Enjoy it mate all us Evertonians deserve it and yes there will be more coyb imwt.

I work with a Spanish lad. from zaragoza but a barca fan. we are in Dublin but he said rumour from back in Spain is that we are defo getting that dueflou on loan. its supposed to be a done deal. he said he is a class act

Guardian just reported. Everton securing FC Barcelona attacker Gerard Deulofeu on loan.

The 19-year-old, who is a Spain international at U21 level, will join Everton for the season as Roberto Martínez looks to bring a different approach to Everton.

Martínez's arrival at Goodison Park was instrumental bringing the loan to fruitition. Barcelona trust in Martínez to continue Deulofeu's development and give him valuable first team experience, while they are optimistic that a year in England will see him mature swiftly.

It's those 4 words that do it for me, 'Barcelona trust in Martinez'.
If arguably the biggest club in world football at the moment trust him then we should as well. COYB

Barcelona starlet Gerard Deulofeu is set to have a medical with the blues and is set to be confirmed before Saturday. also heard from a reliable source that we will be making a 3m bid for Nathan Redmond and a £7m bid for CSKA Moscow's attacking Midfielder Keisuke Honda. Also reported that everton are monitoring Leroy Fer, Seydou Doumbia and Joleon Lescott.

CSKA are apparently asking €7M for Honda, so why would we open with a ­£7M bid? £5M is more likely.
Fer I'll believe. If Norwich is bidding £4. 3M, surely he might be worth a go for that. Would rather have Honda if there's only one CM arrival and no departures, though.
Doumbia, there is absolutely no noise about a transfer anywhere, much less to Everton.
Lescott is apparently part of Pellegrini's plans at City, so while we may be "monitoring" him, he's not going anywhere, especially not for what we'd want to pay.

Redmond has already gone to Norwich. Fer will as well. we can't match AC Milan's offer for Honda. Doumbia will also be expensive. Lescott is still wanted by Pellegrino. apart from all of that you might be spot on mate (ie. slim chance of a loan for Deulofeu - if Spurs drop out).

Milan have confirmed that they will wait until Honda is availiable on a free they have already bought a midfielder, so if we act quick we could get him in this window! All depends on how baby we want him, time will tell!
