We are preparing to approach un-attached manager Leonardo Jardim. Very highly rated after being fantastic for Braga and Olympiacos. No compensation, young, great reputation - you heard it here first!

Believable29 Unbelievable14

I'd be concerned that Leonardo Jardim was sacked by Olympiakos for undisclosed reasons after less than a year even though they led their league by ten points at the time. Looking at his record at other clubs, he does have a track record of run-ins with his bosses. I'd fear that the excellent relationship between BK and DM would not be repeated with someone like Jardim.

Heard from a good source big dunc will be appointed after receiving recommendations from moyes. Watch this space

Believable24 Unbelievable30

I would like to give him a go. I think he would do well for us what do you think eds {Ed025's Note - no experience...so no..

Agree0 Disagree0

I am watching a lot of space as Mackay, Lennon, Neville, Laudrup, Ferguson, Stubbs, Benitez, Martinez, Clarke, Periera, Zola, Cahill, Benitez (FSW) & Weir are all taking the job! We will have to get rid of a few of the 'hangers on' parking spaces!

Agree0 Disagree0

Bilic number one/Ferg as assistant!
Yeees

Agree0 Disagree0

Stop these rumours
Neville
Ferguson
Stubbs
Lennon
What next

Agree0 Disagree0

Dunc has no experience and is therefore a no no. I would have Laudrup, Di Matteo, Mackay or Martinez as they have experience in England. No point getting in someone who has never managed in England as that would be too much of a gamble for Bill. I think any of the above is more than capable of continuing the good work done by Moyes.

neville will be the next manager watch this space

Believable5 Unbelievable41

I don't get this? Duncan Ferguson with his EFC tat and a similair age to PN isn't suitable yet PN (bless him) but ex Man United is?

People are either Everton from here. or they just come to get paid a while. I think big Dunc as one of or own. treat him with a little more respect

Man United manager David Moyes has offered £44 million for Baines and Fellaini. Everton manager David Moyes has rejected it! {Ed025's Note - love it mate..

Believable28 Unbelievable22

Moyes to sign Baines and Fellaini 50m

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed, How do you think our fans will react to Moyes on Sunday knowing that our manager wants to buy Two of our best players {Ed025's Note - i think he might get a mixed reaction mate, i would like to think he would get a round of applause, but fear some will abuse him..

Agree0 Disagree0

It should be a rough reception because in his interview he said he had every intention to sign new contract

Agree0 Disagree0

Will Moyes try to sign Baines? I hope not and i'd like to think he won't. I know one thing for sure, I'll be backing Moyes 100% on Sunday, I fully intend on damaging my vocal cords at the match. We should give Moyes the send off he deserves, he has been magnificant for Everton football club and has given everything he's got. let's get the grand old lady rocking like it's never rocked before and give Moyes a day to remember. {Ed025's Note - sounds good mate...but i will give him a respectful round of applause..

Agree0 Disagree0

That's class mate so funnyn

Agree0 Disagree0

Lets just hope he throws an extra few mil on top ov wot we want

Agree0 Disagree0

In that case he seriously needs to tell himself to up the offer!

slaven bilic to take over by end of season kenwright already in talks am in Croatia that's the big news over here.

Believable29 Unbelievable24

Ed can you confirm that the poster is actually posting from Croatia. Michael {Ed025's Note - sorry mate, i cant..

Agree0 Disagree0

I hope so

Agree0 Disagree0

Just checked this out from ' Croatian Times. Com'

10. 05. 13. - 15:00

''Croatian football coach Slaven Bilic has been linked with a move to Everton. Actually with Lokomotiv Moscow, Slaven Bilic had a spell at Everton at the end of 1990s. The former Croatian national team coach has many times in the past pointed out his wish to lead some team in Premiership and now British media connect him with possible engagement at Everton. However, it is too early to confirm the move as several other names were mentioned for the same position. ''

Agree0 Disagree0

I like the thought of this but of a gamble but who isn't! Done well so far in short career

Agree0 Disagree0

This is one of the few choices out there I would go with.
We need a manager who will progress us with a knowledge of other transfer markets, and a new look tactically at shutting out games.
The buffons out there suggesting names like big Dunc (love him to bits but not yet), stuart McCall (good job at Motherwell- c'mon Scotish league with no rangers in it!), dave Jones!, Hughes, Lennon, O'Niell all managers that are tried and tested and not achieved sustained success, Lennon plays in a one team league so can't count. And for those that say he beat and drew with Barca, this season barca have dropped a level!

Bilic, Laudrup, Clarke all goos shouts, plus I would love Dave Whelans team to go down now and rot, saying Martinez can do better than us! COYBs

Agree0 Disagree0

Not a chance Bilic is at Lokomotiv Moscow and only been there for 12 months, going to cost too much, 10. 15. 20 mil

Agree0 Disagree0

Why no chance? Did you give him the contract and know how much he's on and how long it's for?

Agree0 Disagree0

He's contracted until 2015 not sure on wage but not a chance

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take bilic. He looks better in a suit than moyes and that's the most important thing right! Rhino.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moyes has stabbed us in the back so it don't matter how he looks in a suit if it was down to me he would not be takin charge of last two games. He said he could not say no to man U when all he had to do was say no thanks i'm already at the club I love {Ed025's Note - easier said than done mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Makes me laugh how people say moyes stabbed us in the back. Get a grip of yourselves people. If anyone was in his shoes they would have done the same its one of the top three club jobs in the world!

As far as next manager. Lennon bilic or from wide left Dennis bergkamp.

Agree0 Disagree0

No ed its simple he said he loves our club our club loved him we all loved him he said he was planning for pre season and start of new season. Sorry i'm not one who can forgive him an I hope he gets a dogs life at last two games an I also think it should be the fans that choose new man via a poll an the traitor should have no part in new appointment

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes that would be fact if he never said he loves the club an the fans an he said he was about to sign a new contract he should of come out and said it was time for me to move on an not basically say I would of signed but I had a much better offer that's wrong in ny books an that's called being stabbed in the bk U mite not feel betrayed but that don't mean the rest of us dont

Agree0 Disagree0

Di canio looks good in a suit. gibbo.

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is this rhino lad anyway bilic looks better in a suit than moyes am not havin that. gibbo

Agree0 Disagree0

He is a good manager but wouldn't be my first choice

Agree0 Disagree0

Won't leave Cardiff at the moment

Tim Cahill will be named the next everton manager {Ed025's Note - no he wont..

Believable18 Unbelievable41

What a s*** day DM gone no money team looking old what the **** is going on. Bk can u sort this out?

Agree0 Disagree0

10 May 2013 16:37:16
With Irvine or Stubbs as his right hand man would do for me.
We could do with his leadership right now.

Agree0 Disagree0

Tim Cahill? can I have what he's been smoking with them cans of special brew. have a serious word with yourself and get a grip will you, posting nonsense like that.

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take 15th next season with Hughes

Agree0 Disagree0

10 May 2013 12:46:16
No please no talk sport. just said efc asking for permission to speak to cardiff
Mushy

Believable10 Unbelievable24

Please no, Pariera or Montanier for me. Kenwright knows nothing about football apart from Everton.

Agree0 Disagree0

I mentioned this yesterday but without response (which may say enough in itself) but what about Steve Clarke?

He's an excellent coach who has been extremely well respected everywhere he's gone.

He also seems like a decent human being who I'd be happy representing the club. I know he had that brief spell over the park but I bought an R Kelly album in my youth - we all make mistakes.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 May 2013 11:47:57
Gianfranco Zola is to be interviewed as soon as the playoffs are sorted out.

Believable17 Unbelievable27

10 May 2013 16:43:11
Imagine him working with Barkley, Green, Pienaar, Osman and Mirallas.
He would attract players too. don't think people realise his popularity.
He's young and hungry too!

Agree0 Disagree0

I would be happy with that choice I like wee zola

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes he could be a good choice Anyone is going to be a gamble but I would rather him than Lennon winning that sol title used to be 2 horse race now Celtic are just turning up for it don't even watch there league it's so poor I think every league in the English leagues are better here's a few I would like to see

Martinez
Redknapp
Klinsman {Ed025's Note - the meat in that sandwich is rotten..

Agree0 Disagree0

12 May 2013 15:53:17
I'd certainly accept Zola; Stubbs and Weir can sort the defense and Zola can concentrate on developing a team that creates and scores - I really want a manager that can get the best out of a centre forward and plays "school of science" type football. Neil

My brothers working down Cardiff area at the moment he txt me 2 say rumours going rd like wildfire everton are getting mackey!

Believable17 Unbelievable15

Rather we didn't. He got found out at Watford - as soon as his assistant left (I forget the name) he couldn't buy a win! I'd rather we went for someone a bit better, massively hoping for bilic

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree my first choice is billic second choice big dunc

Agree0 Disagree0

I live in the Cardiff area and, indeed, there's a lot of talk but that's all it is at the moment. I also heard he was one of Moyes recommendations. I personally don't think he's good enough for Everton but has done a good job at my 'second' team.

Agree0 Disagree0

10 May 2013 08:40:35
Just finished at the gym and managed to ask the big man Sylvain who he thinks will succeed Moyes, and he is adamant that Lennon has the job with steve round staying on as number 2. P Neville will also be offered a youth team coach role.

NG

Believable11 Unbelievable30

I'd ask for my money back from the gym NG (or is that Frank Sidebottom?), its obviously not working!

Agree0 Disagree0

I second this, he retweeted Phil McNulty's post (BBC) last night so wouldn't be surprised to see Lennon arrive soon!

Agree0 Disagree0

Is he not training at everton this morning?was it a lookalike?very strange?

Agree0 Disagree0

This is my personal favourite rumour. I work in a gym so it makes me laugh. you train at finch farm gym yeah? and just happen to be close enough mates with distin that he would tell u. haha

Agree0 Disagree0

I also saw Distin at the gym this morning, told me Makay was joining though! Weird

This is no bullsh*t.

I have a friend in Glasgow who is very good friends with Niel Lennon. He says Lennon has had contact from Everton.

Please Bill, don't do it!

Believable10 Unbelievable27

10 May 2013 10:47:11
Do it Bill Do it!

Agree0 Disagree0

Lenny will be the celtic manager next season and after that >>>>>>>>>>>> he is a celtic man obviously you people don't know what celtic are about!!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Can someone liverpool please tell me one reason why Lennon would go any where near goodison pk, everton is a club that is going nowhere like it or not, I have a soft spot for the toffees but it would be a big step down for Lennon to go near any a middle the roads team in England me for one will be shocked if Lennon was to even talk with everton they are a team with little future bar a league cup final at most over the next couple of years, and before I get the pelters with the Scottish league is a joke, you might be right but the chances of everton playing any team out side of England in the next century is called a pre season or a friendly, I don't like to have a go but some one the comments from the everton

Agree0 Disagree0

You know it is BS when the post starts with 'this is not BS'

Agree0 Disagree0

Loads of frustrated Celtic fans replying because Lennon might want to move to a league that isn't p*ss. Chill out like? We're supposed to have good relations.

Agree0 Disagree0

Ya Celtic fans are frustrated listening to some fans slagging a guy that has done more than every other manger in the frame, every fan has the right too express ther interest in who they want but are sly sports letting big Jim do the editing, couse this is a manger that 99 per cent of your EPA bosses couldn't tie his shoe laces, in this so called amazing league it's media hype only so called propaganda which all of yous swallow every time it's about the 4 or 3 best in Europe at a push but then most don't look beyond do they, Lennon has got a real chance of becoming one of the greats and one day might move south but with no disrespect to evert on it won't be yous as its just not ther as a club and personally until you sell the club it has no chance of being so

Agree0 Disagree0

Love how the celtic fans are panicking me nans free next year she could manage in that sunday league up there, giving it the biggin about playing in europe you have no competion and get a bye in the champions league every season, everton would smash you terrible 20m squad so shut your mouth and keep lennon

Agree0 Disagree0

Amazing how some poster said Everton aren't big enough for Lennon. Let me tell you something buster! if Everton were in the Scottish premier they would win it by a record points total and slaughter Celtic home and away!.
Dont want the guy, managing in the Scottish Prem and winning titles is nothing, as one poster sad "me Nan could do it" and he is right!

Agree0 Disagree0

Please correct me if I'm wrong but the last Time everton won anything 2007 fa cup o and the charity shield, which ya it's more competitive down south but can any one tell me what the statistic s. are for English teams meeting Scottish team, it reads very different story to your comments and Celtic have held ther own and come out in front, but for the comments that everton would beat Celtic week in week out is just pure fantasy, but just take a second and look at how much everyone live on a year from sky and so, if Celtic was to have this kind of money at ther mercy don't tell me that they wouldn't be fighting for a top 4 place in the epl, now I have a soft spot for everton but Celtic is massive world wide and the fans and atmosphere is by more superior to any thing down south who do you think these top players would rather play for if Celtic was in the epl and on a level paying basis it doesn't take a genius, jodrok {Ed025's Note - actually mate, the last thing we won was the FA cup in 1995...

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry my mistake yous got to the final was 2009, thanks Ed for correcting me have you worked out the stastittics on the Scottish English leagues table yet, as from one of your posters Celtic would be a walk over and Ed can you tell me your views on Celtic in he epl with epl money what part they would pay do disrespect to everton but in my view everton would not have a look in once we were settled

Agree0 Disagree0

You can almost smell the fear of Everton fans up here in Scotland as they start to realise that this is a huge turning point for their team. with a crumbling stadium, very little investment from their owner, the loss of their best players (following moyes) it's a disaster waiting to happen. From what I hear there is you have a very poor academy and a very poor scouting infrastructure. Please get your own house in order before u srart slagging scottish football and indeed Lennon. By the way Celtic have a very attractive financial standing with little or no debt. They have a very young talented squad of player. there acadamy and scouting system i'd in fantastic shape and paying dividend s. They are on the verge of a double winning season and are in champions. League next season. Why would lennon consider everton. The only way is down for u guys. Be afraid. very afraid

The celtic bhoy {Ed025's Note - you forget to mention, that winning the double in scotland, is the equivalent of winning the johnsons paint trophy in england, and yes our ground is not the best, yet steeped in history and tradition. as for our academy, we have, and continue to produce some great talent..ever heard of wayne rooney?..he is worth about the same as every scottish player that has ever lived put together!..stay in your bubble my friend, you are a small fish in an even smaller pond, and if lennon does come,(god forbid) it will be the biggest achievement of his life..

Agree0 Disagree0

Biggest achievement of his life? I would say making the last 16 of the champs league would rate higher. How did citys billions and chelsea get on? Yup scottish footballs sooooo bad {Ed025's Note - parking the bus, and riding your luck, against a team that had 90% of possession is just a freak of nature :)
