Dunc has no experience and is therefore a no no. I would have Laudrup, Di Matteo, Mackay or Martinez as they have experience in England. No point getting in someone who has never managed in England as that would be too much of a gamble for Bill. I think any of the above is more than capable of continuing the good work done by Moyes.

I mentioned this yesterday but without response (which may say enough in itself) but what about Steve Clarke?

He's an excellent coach who has been extremely well respected everywhere he's gone.

He also seems like a decent human being who I'd be happy representing the club. I know he had that brief spell over the park but I bought an R Kelly album in my youth - we all make mistakes.

I live in the Cardiff area and, indeed, there's a lot of talk but that's all it is at the moment. I also heard he was one of Moyes recommendations. I personally don't think he's good enough for Everton but has done a good job at my 'second' team.

I have a friend in Glasgow who is very good friends with Niel Lennon. He says Lennon has had contact from Everton.

Can someone liverpool please tell me one reason why Lennon would go any where near goodison pk, everton is a club that is going nowhere like it or not, I have a soft spot for the toffees but it would be a big step down for Lennon to go near any a middle the roads team in England me for one will be shocked if Lennon was to even talk with everton they are a team with little future bar a league cup final at most over the next couple of years, and before I get the pelters with the Scottish league is a joke, you might be right but the chances of everton playing any team out side of England in the next century is called a pre season or a friendly, I don't like to have a go but some one the comments from the everton

You can almost smell the fear of Everton fans up here in Scotland as they start to realise that this is a huge turning point for their team. with a crumbling stadium, very little investment from their owner, the loss of their best players (following moyes) it's a disaster waiting to happen. From what I hear there is you have a very poor academy and a very poor scouting infrastructure. Please get your own house in order before u srart slagging scottish football and indeed Lennon. By the way Celtic have a very attractive financial standing with little or no debt. They have a very young talented squad of player. there acadamy and scouting system i'd in fantastic shape and paying dividend s. They are on the verge of a double winning season and are in champions. The celtic bhoy {Ed025's Note - you forget to mention, that winning the double in scotland, is the equivalent of winning the johnsons paint trophy in england, and yes our ground is not the best, yet steeped in history and tradition. as for our academy, we have, and continue to produce some great talent..ever heard of wayne rooney?..he is worth about the same as every scottish player that has ever lived put together!..stay in your bubble my friend, you are a small fish in an even smaller pond, and if lennon does come,(god forbid) it will be the biggest achievement of his life..
