Would anyone take this? Fellaini for £10 million plus Hernandez (Chicharito) would be a great deal in my opinion

Believable9 Unbelievable7

I would never take that deal

Agree2 Disagree2

I would take that deal all day.

Agree1 Disagree2

12 Aug 2013 02:13:45
Fellaini is worth 30m easy and hernandez is absolute sh*t scores the odd substitute goal and he is 'the complete finisher' and one of the best goal scorers in the league blah blah blah he is lazy has no power whatsoever and isn't skillful in any way he is overrated what does he actually do apart from rooney shooting and it sorts of bounces off hernandez's foot and goes in and he claims the goal? Someone tell me please what else he does? Sorry for the rant just my opinion

Agree2 Disagree0

Yes tom efc

Agree0 Disagree1

Plucking figures out of the air! No word Hernandez is part of the deal and that makes him worth 15-20 million which is a non-starter in the first place! LearyEFC

Agree1 Disagree0

Blue Skittle - what a load of spaff you are talking. He works his socks off everytime he is on the pitch. He is a top class finisher and his movement and positional awareness is amoung the best in the prem. Would prefer to push for 15 million though.

Agree0 Disagree0

12 Aug 2013 08:44:59
So your rating a utd fringe player at 15-20 million doesn't sound realistic to me if he goes and I for one hope he stays we need the cash so martinez can choose who to strengthen the squad with

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd take that all day long. Hernandez more or less guarantees you goals and I'm not sure he'll fit in under Gollum b

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take that too! He is a top class striker & can't understand why he doesn't get more playing time! I would welcome him to everton with open arms, he is just what we need!

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather have Defoe than two hernandez

Agree0 Disagree0

13 Aug 2013 03:10:25
hey hey hey no spaces in my name sonny jim how does he work hard? I know a few Manchester United fans and some who have been watching them for years and they say he is lazy and let's face it he never tracks back he basically stands on the goal line and waits for rooney or whoever to kick it at him so it goes in he is also always offside and is uniteds fourth choice striker so if that makes him worth 20-25m then jeez ea are stupid. oh yeah I went there did you get this from his attack positioning and his reactions on fifa also his price? because I've watched united a few times myself and his movement is nothing special just like him as an overall striker

BlueSkittle

Agree0 Disagree0

BlueSkittle you are an person. He does work hard at closing down defenders. His limited "tracking back" is because he has pace and fergie will have asked him not to drop too deep but to sit on the shoulder and wait for counter attack. He will probably track back a lot more now under his new manager. Noticed moyes is sticking with his 11 men in the box to defend set-piece policy!

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2013 22:09:44
Jags is one of the best blood and guts c/backs in the prem, heads, blocks, clears the danger area, but to-day he looked very very uncomfortable. Playing out from the back is a nice idea, but you have to have the players to do it. You don't start with a system, then try to get your players to fit into it, you devise a system that plays to the strength of the players you have, so please roberto, evolution not revolution, to-day, win or not, it did not look good, had they taken 50% of their chances we would have been hammered.

Believable5 Unbelievable3

Agree 100%.Jags and Distin are not capable of bringing the ball out of defence.RM needs to sort this immediately. Also what is the shape of the team?.It's puzzling to me and everyone knows our attacking strength is the Pienaar/Baines combination down the left.Break this up and we look lost.I can see a lot of uncomfortable afternoons this season before we get used to playing this new system.I think the players quality will still win us games but I think RM is expecting a bit too much too soon, like the OP said evolution not revolution.

fellaini has gone home to belgium today, was in manchester airport today when the game was on 100 percent true

Believable4 Unbelievable4

He was in the directors box.

Agree2 Disagree1

Maybe because its international week and he does play for Belgium

Agree1 Disagree0

I saw him at goodison.

Agree2 Disagree0

Then who was that with the big fro in the directors box today?

Agree1 Disagree0

He has international duty midweek fella.

Agree0 Disagree0

No he wasnt, he was in the main stand.
Mr Blue Sky

Agree0 Disagree0

Liar, I got photos of him with my Grandaughter before the match for proof.
He was wearing flip-flops because of a foot injury.

Funny, I and hundreds of other fans saw him get out of his Audi in the car park and then during the game he was in the directors box!

Agree0 Disagree0

No he was at game but is going away on international duty

Agree0 Disagree0

Mr Blue Sky, spot on.He was behind the directors box.

Believable6 Unbelievable1

Totally agree!
Unhappy-Camper

Agree0 Disagree0

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's the way he says it plus he is puckering up to the club too much.

If we sell Fellaini I would not waste a second and bid 16£ million for Erikson

I would put a cheeky bid for dembele instead.

Betis number 22 looks a real player an so much pace could do with him ste46

Believable5 Unbelievable1

I agree he gaveus problems all afternoon--very pacy and direct

We'll not get him as he only joined Betis in june

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2013 19:11:33
I've seen that Tottenham are willing to spend £15million to sign both Toby Alderweireld and Christian Eriksen. If we're willing to spend £15million on James McCarthy, why not go for Alderweireld and Eriksen instead? Better players in my opinion and better value for what little money we seem to have

OS confirm Gibson has a grade one knee problem which will be assessed over the next 48 hrs. Major doubt for the big kick off. Will RM now move on a CM?

Believable3 Unbelievable0

11 Aug 2013 18:44:26
Ed, do you know anything? Getting beyond a joke this now. {Ed025's Note - we do need a couple of players in, today has not filled me with confidence to be honest, but hey, were everton, nothing is ever easy..

Believable3 Unbelievable0

11 Aug 2013 18:40:14
BK just told SOS that will be NO more incoming transfers. As for outgoings 'you never know'!
Could be in for a hard season if he wasn't bluffing.

Believable3 Unbelievable5

SOS - what's that?

11 Aug 2013 18:29:11
Looks like Gobson is gunna be out AGAIN, for a lengthy time
Grade 1 ligament injury!

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Grade 1 is a minor injury it certainly isn't as lengthy as you are thinking

We should go for eriksen if we sell felli. 15 million? that's a reasonable price, affordable wages, and great potential!

Believable5 Unbelievable0

It was 15m for Alderwied and Eriksen in the latest report which is daylight robbery we should chuck heitinga in their aswell although they might want 20m then!

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Aug 2013 18:12:26
Why's everyone being so pessimistic!

Believable2 Unbelievable1

Why so pessimistic?/did you see todays performance--clueless

Agree1 Disagree0

11 Aug 2013 17:49:38
With the absence of Fellaini and Gibson in the second half-just illustrated how we definely need to add a CM before the season starts.

The team looked very tired and leggy today--no shape or system of playing --will need to do much better v Norwich

Believable3 Unbelievable0

We needed Felli today I thought Gibbo looked tired his passing early on was terrible

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2013 17:46:53
SOS said they spoke to Kenwright and he said no more players would be coming in unless players are sold.

Believable3 Unbelievable4

Who or what is/are SOS?

Agree0 Disagree0

School of science 1878. An anti BK group, similar to the BU, I believe they're affiliated but not sure.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2013 17:44:33
Before the window closes we definitely need a new cm. I think that should be the priority. We've only got four right now and we should add another one if we will continue to use three center midfielders. Plus Gibbo and osmans preseason performance were shaky and felli could be one the way out. I say jorginho 7m
Moses 10m
Alderwiereld 5m
Rodwell or banega or other 12m
Assuming that felli leaves and we're got around 9mil in the bank.

Believable1 Unbelievable2

11 Aug 2013 17:08:13
just watched the game on efc tv if we play like that against Norwich we will get battered the lads don't seem to be able to play the system whatever that is? the only joy we got was with long balls in behind the full backs betis played well gave everton a football lesson we were lucky to win howard played well and the defence was ok
I hope that bobby gets it sorted out it seems that the lads need more time but we start sat its going to be a hard season if that's the kind of performance they turn in but in fairness they looked knackerd maybe the jetlag I hope

Believable3 Unbelievable1

We played well against juve an did well 2nd half against real an will batter norwich. But what is worry gibson
Inj already

Agree1 Disagree1

No need to worry too much. Pre season doesn't get you points. Give it time.

Agree0 Disagree1

Totally agree. Thought we were awful today. If we don't sign at least 3 quality players than I think were going to struggle this season.
Cant believe the likes of Norwich and even Cardiff buying top players we have been linked with.
Then this is everton who say we tried to sign them.
Absolute BS Mr kenwright.
bluenose gaz

Agree1 Disagree0

Was actually at the game, we just look so open and you are right about Norwich. I have nothing personal against Martinez but how the heck a man whose tactics constantly had Wigan fighting relegation can believe that those same tactics can improve a side that in the same time period finished consistently in the top 8, is beyond me. I just hope that once Kenwright sees the giant mistake he has made, he moves quickly to rectify it.

Agree0 Disagree0

I agree it wasn't fantastic but there were at times glimmers of good football.

Was really impressed with Barkley; hardworking, doesn't give up and chases down every ball. Actually thought Heitinga played well today too.

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't profess to be a man in the know with all the financial stuff, but how is it that we have no money when we don't spend anything?

Agree0 Disagree0

Showed more consistent good football last season, if its not broke don't fix it!, worrying times

Agree0 Disagree0

Jet lag mate. Our team just came back from US.

Agree0 Disagree0

11 Aug 2013 15:31:16
Fellaini not in the team or on the bench today against betis. Is he off to united tomorrow for 25 million. thoughts ed? {Ed025's Note - he could do tony, but being left out of a friendly does not automatically say he is..

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Felli has an infected cut on his leg so is rested as a precaution.

Agree0 Disagree1

He is not playing due to infected cut on foot, he is in directors box today!

Agree1 Disagree1

Considering he was at goodison I doubt it

Agree1 Disagree1

Infected cut? Really? I've heard worse I suppose.

Agree0 Disagree0

Moysie has said that utd are expecting a new signing soon hope its fabregas and that should mean felli staying. cause these bainsey, felli rumours to utd are p. g me off. moysie do one.

Agree0 Disagree0

Now he's off to Belgium for a friendly match

Ajax confirm everton have made a 5 million bid for Toby Aldewired (sprry bout spelling;)) I think he would be a great signing as Martinez prefers 3 Cb's so he could replace Distin as he is getting on a bit

Believable3 Unbelievable2

Not from Everton its from Spartak Moscow

Agree0 Disagree1

Nope, ajax confirmed a club 's bid for him, but they didn't named the club. But i've seen the same article as you, and the title of it is BS

Agree0 Disagree0

No they havent. Straight race between Spurs and Liverpool. Fee thought to be in the region of 7 million.

When are Everton fans going to realise they have no money.

A random question if anyone can help, what is the criteria for a student ticket. I have a NUS card through doing education in my employment does this qualify for student prices? You don't ask you don't get. I will give the club a ring tomorrow but wondering if anyone knows in the mean time. Thanks

Believable1 Unbelievable3

There's no discount if u r in full time employment, even if u r also a full time student

It is reported that we are negotiating with Wigan for James McCarthy but it is proving difficult at the moment as both chairmen don't see eye to eye since the fall out before the cup final. Rumour has it that Bill rang up Dave Whelan before kick off being the luvvy he is wishing Wigan the best of luck and 'break a leg'. didn't go down very well. {Ed025's Note - like it robbie..

Daily Mail claims Ajax confirm the mightyblues have put a 5 million pound bid in for Toby Alderweireld (sorry if I've spelt it wrong) any other players being linked to goodison ed? {Ed025's Note - loads mate, the difficulty is sorting out the true ones

Believable2 Unbelievable1

No its from Spartak Moscow and that's what the Mail says if you bothered to read the article properly

Agree0 Disagree1

Ajax have declined to say who the bid was from. and poster two would know that if he bothered to read the article properly.

According to paper talk, we have identified a replacement for Baines. Surely he must be a decent player to replace our best player, and the best LB in the world?. A £1.5m player. What a joke. I'm all for cheap players and good deals, but this is taking the pi*s if it is true, I doubt it however.

Believable2 Unbelievable1

If Baines goes, we should break the bank to get Luke Shaw at Southampton. I really rate him. At 17 he looks better than Baines did when he was 17. Similar players. I was told by someone in the club that it was likely Shaw was being lined up for a move to Utd or Chelsea. However, if Utd buy Baines, then we could use the cash on Shaw.
Degsypulford

Believable3 Unbelievable2

We already have a great player in garbett who was classed as a wonder kid at leads reminds me of baines tom efc

Damn.
Spurs in for both Alderweireld and Eriksen. Come on Bill, and get Toby signed! he's really quality

Believable2 Unbelievable0

I think we should go for them 2, apparently the fee would be £15 mill (what i've spurs bid for them), so if we're willing to spend that sum on McCarthy, why not use it more wisely and buy them 2

Agree0 Disagree0
