I doubt it as we have the Baca lad plus Kevin - two young lads, plus Peanuts, Ozzy and Oviedo can do the wings if needed. Wage bill will be spent elsewhere.

Heard that we are looking to sign Tom Cleverley on a season long loan with view to buy. Martinez is a fan of the 23 year old and wants to link up with him again after his successful loan to wigan 3 seasons ago.

One of the most overrated players ever. No better than Osman but because he plays for Utd he's and England regular.

Agree with first comment. Doesn't bring anything to the team except open goal misses. Much rather play our own players.

They were on International Duty during the summer and have extended time off

Jelavic never went on international duty he had a break heitinga had a few games and Howard had a busy scudule

Have it on good authority that Everton have had an initial bid for Ever Benaga turned down. Everton are due to go back with a higher bid next week after his agent indicated he would be interested in a move to goodison park!

this guy is going to be a superstar and Barca have decided to loan him to someone for a years experience in a tougher league, they rejected the Hammers because they didn't want him in the bright lights of London, we had the edge over everyone else because of the Martinez Spanish connection and us being a great family club.

He will not be joining us on a permanent basis so let's get that out of our heads and enjoy a future superstar for a season long loan and show him the Blue love

Well said Degsy! At the end of the loan, dependant on his development ect. Barca may loan him back out to us for another season. This guy is one of the hottest prospects around and Barca will not sell him to anyone.

Who knows. if he does really well and enjoys his time here Barca may loan him to us for a second season. He has been pushed back with the Neymar signing. People in spain rate gerry so highly they didn't think signing Neymar was needed.

Agree with previous posts. Another reason to take care of the "the kid" is having a good relationship with Barcelona. Future loans, possible friendlies, first in line for cheap transfers. None of that can hurt.
