Chelsea have put up a player + cash offer for rodwell. Don't know the player or how much. Don't want to see him go, feel he has just started to deliver on what the coaching staff have always said about him. {Ed025's Note - i agree mate...but him and felli are very similar, for me we need a bit more pace in midfield, and a bit of craft, so i will be interested to hear how much..and which player!..

Believable10 Unbelievable19

Probably Alex. I'd take 25m and Kalou though. {Ed025's Note - so would i mate

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont want to see Rodwell go at all. I agree that Felli and Rodwell are similar players, but to me that is a good thing because lets face it, Moyes isnt going to play 2 strikers any time soon, so I would like to see the 4-2-3-1 which Moyes does use sometimes, and Rodwell and Fellaini would be perfect for the 2 defensive mids.

The thought of those two anchoring our midfield is tantilising, I mean those 2 in a few years are going to be probably 2 of the top 10 defensive mids in the game. {Ed025's Note - but do we need two?..

Agree0 Disagree0

I'm not doubting the post ed but do you think there's any truth in this post {Ed025's Note - its a possibility...but if i had to put money on it...no..

Agree0 Disagree0

It would be amazing if they offered £15 million and Ramires

Agree0 Disagree0

Your dreaming 15m and Ramires for Rodders no way. They would not offer 5m and ramires

Agree0 Disagree0

I'd go for just a Sturridge swap...

Agree0 Disagree0

Sturridge is a pipe dream now. He's a regular for them and is unlikely to be leaving. Boas likes him and see's him as a future star for the club. {Ed025's Note - he was on loan last year at bolton...we should have got him...he is going to be a great player..

Agree0 Disagree0

£10m-£15m + kalou and they have a deal

Agree0 Disagree0

Good shout for £15m plus kalou. He can plays up front or the wing so would be usefull. I believe kalou is available on a free in the summer though so he can talk to foreign clubs as from january. I think thats right Ed? {Ed001's Note - yes, not sure what is a good shout about him though, he is a terrible player, absolutely clueless he is.}

Agree0 Disagree0

What about £15m plus a season long loan of torres maybe worth a punt!

Agree0 Disagree0

Or £30m and we will take Torres of their hands for nothing {Ed025's Note - stop it!!...my sides are hurting!!..

Ed who are the likely departures from everton, ive seen that cahill has been linked with sunderland and that quite alot of clubs are interested in rodwell? If some players do depart will it be in january and will the money be used to buy new players or pay off debts? What players are on the radar?

thanks
Webbo {Ed025's Note - dont believe anything you hear about tim..i expect him to stay, quite a few clubs are interested in rodders, but everton would want £20m plus and i cant see anyone paying that. the only possible outs for me are johnny and bily..

Believable5 Unbelievable9

I wouldnt be upset if Billy left, to me, he is just a type of player that thrives in a slow paced league, and unfortunately the Prem League is not that, think he would thrive in Serie A. Hopefully with Russian teams being loaded and a bit of interest can increase the price to 7mil or so.

Hopefully then BK can give us that money and some of the Arteta money (maybe another 4/5mil) and maybe we can have 12/13 mil to spend (I know bit optimistic) and then go out and buy a midfielder (HOLTBY) or with Moyes desperate for a striker maybe can go after Luuk De Jong or Jelle Vossen (scored a quality goal last weekend).

If we did that, I would be very happy, add maybe Pienaar or Donovan (or both) on loan and I might have a bit of optimism about Everton for once. {Ed025's Note - that would be a great christmas present for us..

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably:

Bily (Awful - Would suit Serie 'A')
Saha (Not doing anything)
Heitinga (Would get some cash - we have Disitin to cover)

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldn't see Heitinga now. He's been playing well. And Saha has experience so keep him for now. But tell bily where to go. Bily money + some arteta money, Bring pienaar back on loan and go for either Charlie Davies or luuk de Jong. Both would be great for us I recon. Or failing that change formation to 442 and use 2 young players upfront, that mcaleny looks good. Him and vellios would be a decent combo. Sign drenthe (he's hinted he wouldn't mind a permanent move) and give straq a chance.

Just my opinions like :)

Agree0 Disagree0

It would make sense that Tim might go as he ain't delivering like he used to!! {Ed025's Note - i hope he stays...he is everton through and through!, and can still play a part, even if that is as a back-up striker or impact player..

Everton boss David Moyes has admitted making an approach to New York Red Bulls striker Thierry Henry, who is currently training with Arsenal during the MLS off-season, in an attempt to sign the Frenchman on loan in January.

Believable6 Unbelievable5

God if you're up there please make this happen!

Agree0 Disagree0

Martin koewn was saying no one can get near him in training, he's still got it

Agree0 Disagree0

Are you serious?

Agree0 Disagree0

If Henry did come it would probably be the only time in his career that he hit a goal drought. lol (Wavertree Blue)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! falls over..... ha ha ha. we are a joke at this moment.

Agree0 Disagree0

DM told the press he spoke to him in the tunnel prior to the Asenal game not exactly a formal request you clowns need to learn some new jokes {Ed025's Note - it would be great if he came though...we can but dream..

Agree0 Disagree0

You could always go and get Beckflop? Beckford back
