Any truth in the links to Marvin Plattenhardt Ed? I do watch a fair bit of Bundesliga when I can and think he’d be a solid signing. Still needs some work on the defensive side of his game though.

I really hope not. German international sounds nice but he’s not even going to get a game (Jonas Hector is first choice) in probably the weakest position of that team.
If Everton look to the Bundesliga for a left back, surely the only target can be Philipp Max, what a player he could be for us. und together with Antonee Robinson he could solve this issue for a long time to come.

Can any eds share insight on what's going on with Carvalho. Only talk of us seems to come from Portuguese press and there as reliable as the S*n. Just wondering if we are actually pursuing Carvalho or if we are just waiting for this contract situation to be sorted. Cheers guys.
