Moyes to leave for spurs in the summer, harry to take over England

Believable13 Unbelievable17

Is this wishful thinking RS? (Wavertree Blue)

Agree2 Disagree7

Heard that one, then lambert to everton, cant see it, cant see redflaps going to england let alone moyes going to spurs

Agree6 Disagree4

No chance

Neil.

Agree3 Disagree3

Hope he takes Round with him, doubt their supporters will tolerate the negative stuff the way we have.

I have a strong feeling that Rodwell is on his way to another club.

I was told by somebody who works in the club that when Yobo left, Rodwell made it known that he really wanted the No.4 shirt at the soonest availability.

If it was known that Rodwell wanted the No.4 shirt why would they give it to Gibson?

There maybe a very good reason for this but was just wondering if anyone can shed any light on it or if anyone has heard anything?

TallBlue

Believable3 Unbelievable14

If he wants it he might get it next year cant change players numbers in middle of the season if yoi mean at the start moyes didnt no if yobo was going cause turky tranfer thing going on

Agree2 Disagree2

Y didnt rodwell get it at the start of the season then? Im sure yobo went on loan before numbers wer announced

Agree2 Disagree3

So they did not give him number 4 coz they were gonna sell him?? Why not just give it to him and then sell it and give it to someone else? C'mon mate you cannot be serious?

Agree3 Disagree2

So he's gonna leave because he never got the number he wanted and spat his dummy out?
BEHAVE MATE!

Neil.

Agree3 Disagree2

Neil you've missed my point!

He's not going because they wouldn't give him the No.4 shirt....

Everyone knew he really wanted it but they gave it to Gibson!
Why do that if they knew Rodwell really wanted it himself?

Diouf and pogba might be on way, tin Cahill and Louis Saha said it would be. Ice if they come in. Might be a sign what do you think. The messages are on twitter

Jc

Believable1 Unbelievable10

How does that suggest anything? Just coz they suggest something doesnt mean it as surely they wouldnt say anything if they knew anything, Diouf could happen though tbh, Pogba no chance.

Agree3 Disagree0

Guess it would be nice, but its probably just wishful thinking! =[

Agree2 Disagree2

This is a rumour site yes, that's why I asked what do you think.

Jc

Agree2 Disagree0

Maybe Gibson, Diouff and Pogba are the down payment on a Barkley or Rodwell deal to go through on the last day of the transfer window

Agree2 Disagree5

I can see diouf coming in on loan or rodwell might be going and we get 15mil gibson and diouf maybee evans

Agree0 Disagree5

Why wud Utd let Evans go when they hardly have a fit centre half??

Ricardo Fuller to sign. All over Twitter

Believable5 Unbelievable12

Who exactly has been saying this?

Agree4 Disagree0

I hope not two years i liked the look of him but hes like 32 now isnt he plus he doesnt even get a snip in he stoke i no they have better than us but still {Ed025's Note - this is not happening..

Agree1 Disagree2

I can see it being possible, but agree hes not looking as good as he used to, i used to wish we'd sign him but not so much now, if we did i would't complain TOO much though! Also rumours are it would be a loan so

Agree0 Disagree0

I think its perfect. He's cheap and he'll fit right into our great 451 formation. Can't wait....Oh god...

Agree0 Disagree1

No way he's worse than Saha

Strong rumours at finch farm that Saloman Kalou is on his way, going to hit the press soon , good quality, not sure if he can be the main man though, lets see.
Addo

Believable6 Unbelievable8

Doubt kalou, maybe fuller

Agree1 Disagree4

Doubt that very much as i think arsene wenger has been a long admirer of him so i would have thought that he would snap him up if he was available

Agree3 Disagree0

Could be part of a player + cash deal for rodwell. Wouldn't mind kalou tho, fast and proved he can score in this league.

Agree2 Disagree1

Kalou is ace, i have been wanted him for years to come to us, cant see it but could happen. the only way i see it happening is as part of a deal for Rodders

Agree1 Disagree1

Kalou is at african cup so it aint gunna happen

Agree2 Disagree0

Given that Rodders is never ever fit, and beyond that hasn't done much yet, am I the only person who thinks absolutely no one will be after him?

Agree6 Disagree1

Luc Castaignos from Inter Milan on his way. Should be sorted over the weekend.

Believable7 Unbelievable3

I'm the guy who posted this, Been told by the same person that Gibson has signed the day before he did and that it was a 4 and half year deal and would have no.4

Agree2 Disagree1

I noticed today on Sky Sports news, when they do the transfer bit and look at all the different players and the in/ outs of the club. It had Gibson on with the colour that the deal has been done, but underneath it had Castaignos, with the same colour, and then without saying anything else the man moved it straight away. May have been a mistake....

Agree3 Disagree1

That just means hes linked, Bily could be gone after Villa game, Moyes has made contact for Rhodes but wants to be kept updated on situation

hey guys im a rangers fan,is there any truth in jelavic is having a medical at everton today? aswel as gibson?

Believable4 Unbelievable3

Ive only heard rumours mate, I doubt we would be able to afford him though

Agree1 Disagree1

Always good to hear a rangers fan . id be suprised if ally let im go though mate.

Jelly man not going nowhere! scored 2 in the st johnstone match, look like hes enjoying himself! would love to have him tho :)

Joseph Yobo wants to stay in turkey but Turkish transfer window shuts soon and everton want 2mill but fenerbache want to extend loan,I think if they don't agree to buy Mayes might recall him to cover our. Defence problems

Believable10 Unbelievable5

Should recall him anyway,i prefer yobo to distin to be honest

Agree2 Disagree17

Yobo b4 distin go the match m8 distin been one of are bestplayers

Agree15 Disagree1

Distans a free in summer an he wont sihn a new contract so hes off to france

Agree2 Disagree7

Yeah i agree distin is consistant!

Agree7 Disagree0

I know, are you crazy... lol... Distin has been our best player with out a doubt, and in my opinion one of the best central defenders in the league, with Jags. Our concer in forwards, its not like we are conceding loads of goals, we are loosing 1-0 most of the time, it is scoring... thats our issue. we all know that

Agree8 Disagree1

He is on a season long loan anyway!

Agree2 Disagree0

Distin got a clause allowing everton to extend his contract by a year and moyes has every intension of doing do!

Agree5 Disagree1

Why would Dusting go anywhere? He's one of our best players and gets a game every week! When not injured. He'll sign a new contract soon, believe me.

Neil.

Agree0 Disagree0

Distin's been ace for us, centre halves can play til there 37+,, don't know why the club are risking losing him. Yobo guaranteed us a clanger per game.

Agree1 Disagree0

He wants 2 years an we have only offered him 1

Agree1 Disagree0

Im a blue from stoke n rumours ere are that stoke after osman and cahill

Believable4 Unbelievable15

Osman deffo going nowhere mate, one of our most important players

Agree21 Disagree8

Do stoke even use a midfield? No but seriously don't think they are your classic stoke midfield duo.

Agree8 Disagree1

The rumour is a lazy repetition of a similar completely inaccurate rumour that Stoke were interested in Cahill at the start of the season. There was never anything in it.

Agree5 Disagree1

Whoever put disagree to the comment about Ozzie above clearly has not got a clue about football

Degsy

Agree12 Disagree3

He has been one of our better players outside of the defence this season

Agree7 Disagree3

Sounds good to me! & in return we would like Shawcross & Crouch

Agree1 Disagree12

Yer yer yer and Wayne Rooney is going to wigan for 3 million. Tim Cahill is a blue and Osman will retire with the blues. For all the stick these two are getting this season they would run through a brick wall for the team {Ed025's Note - thats true..

Agree12 Disagree1

Heard that eygptian striker could b next signing on loan next week

Gibson is eligible for the Villa game..

Believable16 Unbelievable0

He's gonna score! i've got a special feelin bout this guy!

Agree10 Disagree2

Took your advice fella, Gibson first goal on Paddypower 16/1, tenner is on, bring on the money Gibbo

Degsybluenose

Agree5 Disagree0

Im tempted too one nil for the blues tomoraa gibson outside the box between the 50th and 70th minutes he shoud start!

hi ed bothroyd rumour is very genuine .but both tim and jay have to be keen....tp

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Cud have gt boothroyd from cardiff that's his standard championship

Agree6 Disagree1

Tp would boothroyd be one of your jewals in your crown

Agree0 Disagree7

13 Jan 2012 11:54:15
Oh yeah, Gibson has signed, just like I said 2 weeks ago and got shot down. One person saying "I know for a fact we got offered that in the summer and said no so bulls**t" yeah right. Anyway gloating bit done, so all real blues who have got a clue, we are still looking at Mama Biram Diouf on loan, but hes not top of the list. Lukaku is but everything depends on who Chelsea sign with that one. Gary Cahill dragging his feet isnt helping. But dont be surprised if we end up with Diouf towards end of the month. Also Pienaar is NOT coming back. Tim Cahill is NOT going anywhere unless top 4 club come in, which is highly unlikely. D

Believable11 Unbelievable3

It doesn't matter what Chelsea do,Lukaku can not play for another team this season so that loan deal is a non-starter. I'm not sure on Gibson, are we meant to summise that this deal means we are going to lose a midfielder? It's the only way we can generate any cash for a forward. spudv

Agree1 Disagree11

You know of any other potential signings?what sources do you have?

Agree4 Disagree1

The deal taking Lukaku to Chelsea was agreed last season and went through on the day that the transfer window opened in the summer. I'm not saying we will get him, just pointing out that he can play for another club this season.

We have signed Gibson but on BBC sports it says he is our second signing of the january window any idea who the other is Ed {Ed007's Note - Landon Donovan.}

Believable5 Unbelievable2

13 Jan 2012 11:14:51
we seem to have just bid for jay bothroyd q p r poss part ex for tim cahill ..tp {Ed025's Note - from whom tp?

Believable2 Unbelievable10

Keep Cahill loves everton we need players for the battle Cumin up

Agree8 Disagree5

Worse thing everton could do. Everton will be swapping a good premier league player for a championship player. He carn get a game for QPR. I know we are desperate for a striker but we ain't that desperate!

Agree7 Disagree3

If you believe Tim Cahill is a decent premier league player then you are blind. He is very much past his best. He cannot pass, is too slow and the one thing he did have (goals) has dissapeared to. {Ed025's Note - do you not have any loyalty...he has been a quality servant to us..he can still do a job...and even when he calls it a day..can you think of any one better to coach or represent the club than tim?.....when your parents get old..no doubt you will throw them in the street..

gibson has signed 4 and a half year deal fact

Believable6 Unbelievable0

Before people start giving him grief just remember he hasent even kicked a ball for us yet so give him a chance.

Agree7 Disagree0

Undisclosed fee this = Rodwell or Barkley going in the other direction. Someone is leaving that is for sure, if the small amount of cash we had did not go on a player we needed eg emergancy centre back due to injuries or a striker (on loan use the 500k for wages) then obviously its because one of Rodwell, Fellaini, Cahill or Barkley is on there way out. I despair now. Nothing against Gibson and i will support him from the get go but a centre mid is not what we need so it has to be because in reality we do need a centre mid cos one is going.

Svenny

Agree3 Disagree5

Why must someone be on the way out?
barkley = signed, just on 18 years old, let the kid develop, i watched him come on against united and he was crap, too busy star struck by rooney, not saying hes crap, he could well become as good as we hope, but he is not ready to become are messi just yet.
rodwell, come on he is well over rated, not a midfielder by far, and defo not 20 mil worth, his whole play is that of a centerback, will he be a 20 mil CB time will tell, but over rated and 20 mil would do the club more than him
and slating gibson off, maybe the kids lacking confidence in a united team that expect so much, he might well shine with us, and 10 goals in 60 is not bad, you dont get to stay at united till 24 if your that bad, but if you piss fergie off then its bye bye, which is rumoured the case.
and its gotta be a plus, we moan about defensive play, that cause were sticking defenders in midfield, iv watched games this season and we have had 7 defenders playin, so whats the moaning about a cheap actual midfield player, cahil-old, billy-crap, maybegay-crap, nevile-defender, coleman-defender, rodwell-defender, barkley-kid, felli-i love felli haha, osman-does what is expected, everyone else is a loan or can be gone the end of the season, everyone needs to open there eyes, this is everton people,i still love us, its hard but every game im sitting in my seat lower gwlads fingers crossed singing the blues, and everything that we are suffering we are still mid table, just were we would expect give the current situation.....byn

Agree6 Disagree0

What else is your crystal ball saying Svenny? Tonight's Euromillions numbers by any chance?

aintreeblue

Agree0 Disagree0

Byn....your a happy little soul aren't you have you got anything good to say about any of our team? why do you bother calling yourself an everton fan you obviously don't like anyone.......... grbefc

Agree2 Disagree0

Everton dont need a centre mid?? I have attended 16 games this season..... we have some quality midfielders, however... we have ZERO creativity in midfield... that is a fact. Saha had two shotw on goal against spurs... if he was getting plenty of service and creativity .. and then missing or fu**i** up then i could understand... gibson could be just what we need, then a striker... but to say we dont need an attacking midfielder who can and will shoot from outside the box is rediculus. Who for everton other than heitinger shoots from outside the box?? COYB

Agree3 Disagree0

Everton fans... i travel home and away week in week out from cornwall (were i live ) and our support in general has to be the worst (with wigan ) we dont sing at home, we dont encourage players. instead we tell them they are sh** .... and yet we all expect the players to do there job.... when we dont even do ours? COYB

Agree6 Disagree0

Grbefc....if you read what i said i like fellini and osman does his job, as much as he can, hes got good feet but keeps the ball too long, didnt say i diant like any of them, just said it as it was, plus i didnt mention loans, i like some of the loan players and as i said i didnt comment because they could be gone come the end of the season, so i gave a real outlook on what we have got.
and call myself an everton fan, im a season ticket holder have been for years, so i see every game and im calling it as it is, read my post again!

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry mate may have missed your point but getting fed up with all the doom and gloom on here we are in about the same place as last year at the moment with technically a lighter squad than last season so you could argue we have improved lets see what business we do in this window and see how it goes and if that means a name going out to bring in two or three then so be it everyone has to sell at some time

Agree0 Disagree0

Gibson has just officially signed a 4.5 yer deal

Believable7 Unbelievable0

13 Jan 2012 10:46:41
Quaresma on way to John Lennon Airport at the moment should be a cracking signing. {Ed025's Note - BS rating....9.99

Believable7 Unbelievable9

Come on Ed, You sound like Bill.. Mean and Moody hope you not tightfisted like him. {Ed025's Note - mean and moody are my two middle names...just fed up with names being bandied..

Agree1 Disagree1

I dont think ed is moody etc, just sick of hearing bulls**t like the rest of us are! do you lot just come out with these pathetic rumours to get a little attention??

Confimed on Twitter by Everton and Manu gibson signed

Gibson No4 shirt

Magaye gueye is not crap he has hardly had game time and when he has he looks like are best passer him and osman. Gibson lets be honest hes not the best on the ball but hes only young and has a good shot so COYB

Gibson and Defoe at Finch farm now!

GET IN THERE!!! {Ed025's Note - ....BS rating..9.5...unless you can confirm

Believable9 Unbelievable4

Gibson yes. Defoe no chance.

Agree8 Disagree3

How true is this ? {Ed025's Note - pinch of salt...unless you hear officially..

Agree3 Disagree1

No chance mate, would love it, but no chance

Agree4 Disagree1

Are you playing fifa 12 again little boy?

Agree5 Disagree1

Number of people who have camera phones and you couldn't take a sneaky pic of them? Can you smell that?... It's quite strong... Oh that's it, it's BS {Ed025's Note - dead right..

Agree6 Disagree2

Wud u swap rodwell 4 Defoe n pienaar .best way 2 go me thinks {Ed025's Note - i would...but it looks lie peanuts is qpr bound..

Agree2 Disagree2

Watching Jermaine Defoe on the bench for Spurs against us was criminal, would be starting every game for us. {Ed025's Note - your right mate..

Agree8 Disagree1

Spurs have turned qpr bid 4 peanuts down harry said he is going nowere he said on ssn

Agree3 Disagree0

Defoe is spurs top goalscorer even though he doesnt play harry is not going to sell him

Agree2 Disagree0

13 Jan 2012 07:27:21
According to Skysports Tim Cahill is linked with a move to QPR.......

Believable6 Unbelievable7

Great news! I will drive him and his family down there!

Agree8 Disagree17

Tim maybe out of form but he's been a great servant to our club, show some respect you beaut ! If he goes to QPR I wish him luck. {Ed025's Note - he has been a great servant, and can still do a job for us...even if its from the bench..

Agree18 Disagree3

Dont sell tim, he is one of the players who has his heart in the club, yes he out of form but still a vital player when he is in form and we all know that

Agree10 Disagree7

People questioning players ,moyes tactics .so on so on it's called stagnation by the worst board in the prem no leadership no feeling for fans nothing about as dynamic as eddie the eagle pressure on all the board real pressure is only way {Ed025's Note - your right about the board mate..but i dont think david is blameless either..

Agree4 Disagree2

No this can't happen cahill is an everton legend we know he ain't playing well at the moment.we can't sell him.

Agree10 Disagree6

Sadly, football is a business, and if the right offer comes, then we need to take it, our financhial situation dictates that, and we need to find younger players because currently our squad is pretty old.

Agree4 Disagree2

These people who are slagging tim of surelly cant be true evertonians because tim is and allways will be a legend and he as been so commited to everton, tim true evertonians love you. {Ed025's Note - we do..

Agree12 Disagree1

Cahill is a spent force

Agree5 Disagree6

I think the main point is he WAS a great player for us,time to move on.

Agree3 Disagree4

Putting aside the fact that Cahill has earned the right to finish his career with us, his transfer fee would not be very much given his age and current form so we have nothing to gain from selling him. I don't think he should be a starter anymore but I think the role of supersub will really suit him.

Agree4 Disagree1

Do some of you forget what a player Cahill has been for us?? Yes he is out of form but to say you would drive him and his family to QPR shows a total lack of support for both him and Everton FC! Try loving the players we have got and get behind the team instead of moaning! Like the signing of Gibson today, sure that Moyes will get the most out of him, still need a goalscorer, and would prefer that to a centre back as Duffy did very well when he came on. The team just needs a freshen up....hopefully Gibson is the first of a few!

Agree8 Disagree0

Tim Cahill is in my eyes an Everton legend and i believe he has earned the right to finish his career out our great club. Shame on those fellow Evertonians who think he is finished and should be shown the door. He is one player who has given his all for the Everton cause. COYB. {Ed025's Note - we should offer him a similar deal to gerrard, a contract that sees him contiue playing for now, then as an ambassador for the club when he calls it a day..

Agree6 Disagree0

We have to gain a small fee, and a aging player off the books, i love tim, but he offers nothing now, heart dont win games and all teams know how to handle him now, as said before, spent force, time for club to move on, he will still always be a ledgend.... byn {Ed025's Note - i think we owe him a bit more than that byn..

Agree1 Disagree4

What do we owe him ed, we paid his wages for a job he done, come next season he will be well done, i love him to bits, but one player is not everton football club you have to agree....byn

Agree1 Disagree1

Bang one in tm Tom people hav short memories

Agree0 Disagree0

I think cahill well score hes goals late this year he normally scores around 10 a season but most of them are in the first so he going to bang them in now when we need them more than ever. ps he is going nowhere
