Deluded United fans think Lakaku is off to them in the summer! Judging by what I've seen this season I'm guessing not.

They were slating him the other week mate ha ha, I think if he goes anywhere it will be abroad, personally think we have him for another season once Mr Moshiri gets the huge wallet out that he has under his mattress.

ed have u seen what david gold has had to say about us on ssn he says that we would prefer to play man utd especially because of west ham comeback win against us last weekend what an ass they came back into the game because of mirralas stupid red card and r missed penalty we throw away the game more so than them taking it from us gold, sullivan and brady have got to be the three stooges of football.

Believable3 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - they are just playing mind games duke, they know we are a better side and they are running scared mate..

I'd prefer to have em.bit of pay back.they got lucky.tbf though, there isn't anyone left in the comp to worry us.no disrespect to man utd,West ham ,Watford or palace, but I wouldn't be bothered if it was us,arsenal, man city or spurs left in comp.you want to win then you got to beat who is put in front of you.just for a bit of nostalgia, let's have Watford in final.fitting tribute to Mr Howard Kendall.

I thought similar myself, I could see Watford turning Palace over.
Hopefully Besic gets a run out with Barry suspended! Always feel he gives the midfield extra drive and grit! Will help Martinez close out the games.

It's mind games as Ed025 says.
They're emboldened by their (uncharacteristic historically! ) good league season to date, and their move into a new stadium (sponging off the back of public funds! ) and some recent transfer battles they perceive as having "won", and their apparent desperation to create a rivalry with us.
We should try to avoid rising to the obvious bait (I know it's difficult - as evidenced by my comments above! ) and we - especially RM and the players - should instead just concentrate on putting in a good performance and defeating them.

{Ed001's Note - I said to Ed025 before the weekend that I think this is Everton's year in the cup. Martinez is good at one off games like this as he doesn't need to try and fire up the players, the game itself is all the motivation that is needed. He really does struggle with motivation of players. You see it season after season, the players under him only start to perform when they have something outside pushing them on. With Wigan, it was the relegation battle. With Everton it was the fans getting on the players' backs.}

Stadium

Word is EFC talking to LCC about a couple of sites other than WHP.

Stonebridge Cross is one of them.

Looks like Goodison is no go even redevelopment.

Old news from the Echo just regurgitated. Stonebridge Cross was dismissed as plans are already in place to use the land for other things.

perfect place I think is the land at side of switch island end of m57 and m58 plus great access to southport link with broomcross road plus a short railway line could be added from ormskirk line towards old roan station direct to the stadium massive land there.

Outside Liverpool boundary I'm afraid.

I don't think that would be acceptable to the majority.
Surrendering the city to 'them'!

If we could get somewhere near the city centre or the river. then that would be a massive statement.

Made up to win, but the down side, is that it seems to have thrown a life line to that rotten little fraud martinez.
Am sure our status is safe, but just hope people remember that when martinez won the cup, he also got relegated, and came very near doing the same in the two proceeding seasons.

let it go for a bit JCW, we had great support at the match Saturday which was good to see, we are also going to Wembley be it for the semi's, let's just enjoy the moment for a bit longer mate.

On Everton website Kenright says what a great manager Roberto is and Mushari nods his head. How long before Bill sees the truth that Martinez is a fraud. He is good at one off games bit that is not good enough, not for a club like Everton.

I'm not worried about rom leaving if I'm honest. Money talks at the end of the day and if I had to bet on it I reckon at the end of this season he will sign everyone first 100 grand + a week contract and we will also buy big. So why would u want to go anywhere? Only bit of worry is if a team like barca/ Munich came in but the likes of Athletico or Wolfsburg ect came in why would he leave? He wouldn't be any better off.

Believable1 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - he wants CL football keato, he is also being advised by his agent raiola that he should move to a club with a higher profile, of course we all know its that raiola is a leech who wants a cut of the transfer fee and a wedge each week..

14 Mar 2016 10:20:59
Yeah your right eds his agent is a dog and he wants champions league football but I honestly think with or with out him we will be competing in the champions league before too long. If we offer him a big contract and he sees big names coming in hel want to be part of it. Maybe I'm being a bit too optimistic but I can see big things around the corner.

Agree1 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - if we do keep him keato it will be a great statement of intent and im sure would encourage others to join him, if we can keep this squad together and recruit a tad more quality then there is no reason why we cant be pushing for top 4 next season mate..

14 Mar 2016 14:22:11
I know agents are greedy but think this guy also represents Ibrahimovic so will make a crust through him this Summer.
If the new regime sells a vision to Rom and demonstrate player investment I'm hoping he sticks around for another season.

Agree1 Disagree0

14 Mar 2016 22:37:30
I think that everyone knows roms agent wants him gone from here so he can have a big pay day he seems like a total paracite who gives decent agents a bad name but if it comes to the worst and he leaves the 56 million being quoted for him in my opion is no where near his true value I would say closer to 65-70 mil because there is only 4 other players who have scored more club goals than rom before they are 23 and they are raul, suarez, ronaldo and messi so if rom has goalscoring stats that match these great players then its only natural rom should be in a similar price bracket as these players what u think ed.

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - i think you should be in charge of our transfer negotiations duke.. :)
