After watching Denis for the rezzies midweek, im not sure you will be seeing him making many starts this season! {Ed025's Note - its a bit early to tell mate!...playing the lone striker role, is not everyone,s cup of tea, and yes he did struggle, but give him a chance...its early days yet..

would love us to get taken over, but then look at the clubs it has happened too, remember chelsa where about to go under, and you look at the mercenary players they have, i think twice. we need to get out of the mire we are in, but not at the expense of the very heart of the club. Cahill has it right with his recent comments. IMWT

I wouldnt mind having mercenaries like mata, essien and drogba etc and winning the league and getting to finals. To win anything in football now you need massive amounts of money and football is about winning things and not coming 6th or 7th in the league and being a nice club run by boys pen bill

I aggree with what your saying mate, but its just putting up with all the nob head city and chelsea fans (work down south , so meet a few - although you never used to see a city shirt!) who think that they "deserve" players like Messi etc. i suppose i'm just jealous and trying to make the best out of our situation! IMWT

Some times its better the devil you know. Chelsea and City love it. Not sure Villa, Newcastle, West Ham, Birmingham, Pompy, Liverpool (G&H) would agree. The club needs stream lined and turned around not to spend spend spend

To be fair to Lerner he has spent quite alot as did hicks and gillette. Its the managers who bought s**te players or didnt get the results they should have done. Birmingham, west ham and pompey owners never came in saying they were billionaires and going to buy players x, y and z

Agree with the original post, lets not panic....enjoy our season. I would rather have what we do than those other clubs. And yes ok City and Chelsea have money and win things but certainly in city's case to me it means nothing, in fact too me they dont really exist anymore as a real football club....they have made it ridiculous. We beat them anyway even with all their money! GO ON BLUES!
