Kim Shin Wook - £450,000 from Ulsan Hyundai

Fernando Amorebieta - £380,000 from Athletic Bilbao

These are likely signings. I also think Capoue could be a likely move as an eventual replacement for fellaini.

Not to be perdantic but this isnt correct. Currently the income tax rate for those earning over 150000 euros is 45%. There is also an additional tax 'exceptionnelle sur les hauts revenus' which adds an extra 4% for those earning over half a million a year

And new socialist president francois hollande has promised to lower the rate this year

I'm guessing you mean Gérard Depardieu when you say "that fat actor"? Well yeah, he's now a Russian citizen, as of January 3rd. Everything else you've written, however, is nonsense. Hollande did propose a 75% rate of tax for individuals earning over 1m Euros p/a, but he French constitutional council rejected it last month.

Completely disagree. Ligue 1 is no-where as good as Bundesliga, Serie A or La Liga. Lots of bargains in La Liga (as seen with swansea) as many clubs in financial crisis.

And the Jupitor League would be a good place to do business...plenty of Belgians there and the majority of them won't cost the earth. Some bargains to be had there Ofoe-sure. Apologies for that last part.

Hi Eds,

Michael Johnson just been released by Man City so we could get him on a free. Looks like good business to me (the price is right up Bill's street at least).

It'll take a couple of games to get him fit but could solve our midfield lack of depth.

Could even get him on a pay as you play deal?

Was once tipped as a future England International and compared to Steven Gerrard...wouldn't mind a bit of that!

True he has been released but i think it will take 1 or 2 seasons to get fit

Theres a reason he has been released since he burst on the scene he started to believe the hype about himself and just stopped putting any effort in coupled with some injury problems i can't see him ever getting back to a level where he could do a job for us

A couple of games???????? he looks like he has eaten Yakubu, with a side order of Neil Rudduck. the days of everton signing lazy lay about players stopped with Andy Vanda meda < incorrect i know, but i don't care.

Why am I getting stick off my own teams fans? I didn't know about the Mail article when I posted, just knew that he'd been released and he used to be some sort of child prodigy.

And for the record, it wasn't me that compared him to Steven Gerrard it was Sven Goran Eriksson when he was in charge of City, I was just passing on info/my opinion, I couldn't give a monkey's about 'them' but you sir, are an absolute PERSON!
