Diame of west ham for £3.5m would be nice.

Diame is not good enough. If we want to fight for the 4th spot we need to bring in players of a higher quality than him.

This capoue looks interesting and I've said all along we might just splash abit. Please oh please someone go and locate Landon Donavon, give him a shake and get the little man through the door at Finch Farm. Those 2 on permenant deals, no exits, CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. Come on You Blues.

Yes I've heard from various sources about his personal inner turmoil that he's facing. I'm just preying that when he finds himself he decides a change of scenery is required.

Nobody in the USA would begrudge him the chance and some are even saying that the self proclaimed, and truly deserved, honorary Evertonian deserves the opportunity to play for us blues for the rest of his career.

Ed025: of course none of us knows for sure if the club has any money, but if David Moyes, Bill Kenwright and Robert Elstone publicly state that we don't, then surely we can believe them? Or is it just a massive piece of deception on their part?

Well it was most likely fabricated anyway but would you want other clubs to know your targets and players your looking at no! Newcastle made it public they wanted loic remy what happened QPR came in and offered more money you never reveal or give hints on your targets or players you are trying to sign cause there is always a team who will try to outbid you just so you don't get some players

The last poster is spot on. We tend to deny every rumour because if we say we are interested then the arse holes pardew and redknapp will come in for the player

I'd prefer a more experienced keeper myself, something similar to when we brought Howard to the club. I think the Capoue deal is a non starter down to finances and can't see anybody leaving this window. Arshavin is incapable of rolling his sleeves up for his team/manager/or own good so forget that. Rosicky could have legs but either a loan or a lower fee than 3m. If we were serious about Forren we would have acted before his supposed trial across the park. Impossible to predict our transfer activity, i predict 2 late loan deals.

Forren will not happen. Terms have been agreed with Saints, he is currently undergoing a medical, and subject to that there is a Press Conference booked for tomorrow.

So you believe everything that is in the papers! i'll put money on that we sign someone that hasn't been linked to us in the papers

There's a few paper rumours now Ed and not just the SC*M, this may be a goer mate, had you actually heard of the guy previously as I havn't but looks good on the vids, I know anyone could look good on YT but heres hoping

Top, top class player, one of the best in the world. A cross between Vieira, Scholes and Gerrard. World class talent. I haven't actually seen him play, but thought I'd jump on the bandwagon early. Im interested in ligue 1 and follow the bordeaux games. watched Capoue a few times when the sides have met. He is very powerful, quite pacey, great in the air and can really pass a ball. He keeps it simple when needed and his ball retention is second to none. His tackling is highly succesful. Like a cross of felli and makele of the chelsea of old in my opinion. Also, many people and media suggesting he is felli's replacement. I think moyesy is thinking of neville replacment. its proven in the stats (even though many off you think he does nothing) that Phil playing results in more possesion, more chance creation and more points. Neville keeps the ball and break up play moving the ball from defence to the more attacking and creative midfielders so i guess people would label him CDM. Now back to Capoue, this guy is a younger, more techically brilliant, more poweful and faster version of neville. I know we have gibbo who we loves but due to injuries seemigly hitting us every season in midfield to be able to choose from Gibbo, Super Kev, Peanuts, Ossie, Felli and then add capoue to the mix would leave us with one of the best midields in the prem only beaten by city and chelsea for me. This guy could be the catalyst to fourth spot

This might have some truth to it actually, at least I hope. Vadis is quite similar to this guy and maybe the reason we've not heard about VO-O is because this kid is DM's first choice. If we don't get this kid then I believe we'll go for Vadis. Sly has just reported 2 PL clubs are interested in Capoue and Everton have denied an interest, but then they would do that so as not to alert other clubs to our targets, ie saints, the rs etc...

Could be some "discussions" behind the scenes that mean they have to spend next years tv money early to get Felli/DM to agree to stay.

Sounds nice if it happens and we keep everyone, could be instead of the other Belgian guy we were after.

He becomes a free agent in the summer. I've heard a few people say a loan has been agreed and it was on ESPN yesterday as a possible deal with everton. Billyantinov has told Arshavin that everton is a step on the right direction

Moyes might of wanted arshavin before he went arsenal but we've all seen him at arsenal, not the same player he was

How can you say that for definate? Capoue would make sense. We would have him aswell as fellaini, therefore a boost in the search of a champions league place, untill the end of the season atleast. He would eventually replace fellaini so we would get the money back eventually whilst already having a player who has already fitted in (hopefully). Capoue is a quality player with a good price tag. This is the best rumour Ive heard so far. Hope we get him!

Thank you Ed, with regards to Capoue i'm with the last poster, it makes perfect sense including our funding of it by Felli going in the summer (probably) the pair of them getting us in CL, no trauma when he goes cos we've already settled our new chap in!

I don't think that Fellaini will go, but I have to say if he does go i think BK will sell him on transfer deadline day so we have no time to buy any players and he can pay off our debts. But as I said, i think he's going nowhere for now.

What is wrong with people! Love him or hate him BK is an Evertonian 1st and everything else second and if you can't see that you are a mug. So just to Confirm, BK is going to hijack Evertons brightest season for years and leave us with no time to buy cover? Are the banks going to foreclose on our debts with the massive tv revenues comming next season? No. Are we on the brink of administration? No. Are we able to service the debt? Yes or we would have already been closed down. Can we please just get behind everybody at the club and bring the CL to goodison. We are Everton. {Ed025's Note - well said mate..

With everton been linked with capoue and vaids I would rather have vaids because more often and not Frenchman have a poo attitude or it could be better financially to got for vaids and capoues partner sissoko

I reckon you should stop generalising. You seem to forget we already have a Frenchman who is an ultimate professional which makes your statement sound silly to say the least.

Except Capoue is a much better player and probably worth the difference in price.

Capoue looks a better player than Vadis, although I rate VO-O highly this other lad looks on a different level. Would be a great signing but I'd be happy with VO-O
