Forget about Ba, hes not good enough!
However, other free transfer players include
-John Carew?
-Larsson?
-Reo-Coker?
-Upson?
Upson yeah, carew possibly seeing as we get a lot of crosses in... larsoon maybe and reocoker no - We have good enough cms
I think we should try for them? Carew is a great forward - Strenght wise and does get goals!
Larsson is a great winger especially for a FT!!!
Reo-Coker is a good midfielder maybe for backup? especially if rodwell or fellani are sold and also Upson for backup - Sell heitinga for around 6mil to generate funds for other tranfers.
Would definalty go for carew myself like.. just sayin.

Neville is staying put, Rodwell will go to United if not this year then the next, Danny Wellbeck possible loan deal for one season to gain experience. Wes Brown deal looks to be moving closer after SSN report He has rejected Sunderland in favour of a North West club most likely us but possibly Blackburn.

man u want to bring back phill neville for cash + 2 player deal (possible obertan and josh king cory evans also mentioned ) to bring much needed versitility and experiance following the retirement of gary neville, van der sar and scholes, they also see the signing as a key strategic move to lure wonderkid jack rodwell to old trafford after the euro u21 tournemant taking the red devils summer spending to 100m+ {Ed016's Note - Phil wants to see his career out at everton.

Hi Ed, with the Demba Ba looking like he will be on his way to Newcastle what other striker do you think Moyes will be looking at. I would love to see Shane Long come in and Danny Sturridge on a permanent basis as a temporary fix isnt the answer but just cant see us getting the money. I fear we may just end up with someone like Jay Bothroyd. I know Beckford did well last year and Moyes is known for his finding of gems in the lower leagues but i just cant see Bothroyd doing the business. What do you think? {Ed016's Note - Bothroyds on a free and his wages would not be very high, Shane long would be 5-6 million and i think he isnt bad. Danny Sturridge i think is a class act and would fit into everton setup, although its gonna be a high price tag. I think its likely Bothroyd and Long. You never now with Demba Ba though, yesterday everton were looking likely, have to wait for confirmation.
