I am shocked by the reaction from fans over this comment. It is what I expected him to say, Moyes has always kept his cards close to his chest, it is what makes him such an astute manager. I agree Lets be realistic here fellas, we always have no money and the most i expect is a loan or two if we are lucky Ed, is it not more the eternal issue that, although Moyes and everyone else can see the fragility of the squad, they can do nothing about it because the money simply isn't there? {Ed025's Note - have you ever thought that the managers contract negotiations, will be used as a bargaining tool to get dosh out of the board.. Sounds like groundhog day to me. We nearly always announce we won't be doing any business in January then Moyes pulls a bonza rabbit or two out of the hat. I'd expect loan deals rather than money changing hands but I'm pretty confident we'll strengthening the squad in January, ready for the final assault on europe. And i hope that is the general perseption of the media, to often moyes has dicovered a gem, only to then be out bid by those with deeper pockets, so no, were not buying anyone, TILL THE INK IS DRY. I agree ed we will make a signing or two elstone all ready said there will be funds .stef the blue Maybe there wont be any new faces in January, but that is not to say Moyes doesnt have an agreement with Hotlby to sign him in the summer.Rodwell out 12m, Miralles in 5m, theres 7m floating somewhere ? It's a smoke screen, we will bring in 3 players, 4 if we sell victor. How can it be paper talk if its on ssn haha
