Surely Brendan Galloway is the successor to Distin?

But it seems that this could be Distins last season here. and do you think Galloway is ready to step up by next season? Guess we'll have to find out.

Stones (aka rock) - maybe.
Scissors - possibly.
Paper - no, I don't usually believe what I read about our club and our players in the paper.

You're a funny bloke, Swan.
That's funny peculiar, not funny ha-ha, most of the time.

He is out on loan somewhere foreign the last I heard. Finland I think.

He was on loan at a club in Norway, but he returned to us in the Summer and there's been no news on the official club website (or anywhere else that I've seen) since then.

linked with Joel Campbell from arsenal for 7 million

I'd be somewhat surprised if Arsenal let him go for as little as that - especially to a club that's now rivalling them for a Champions League spot in the Premier League. On the other hand, he hasn't broken through there as a regular starter - and has been sent out on loan in the past - so who knows? Stranger things have happened. He did look quite good I thought in the World Cup, but may have flattered to deceive. Our Oviedo-baby, as his international teammate, should have a reasonable insight into what kind of character he is.

He was sent out on loan to olympicos because of work permit but they had option to buy for 7 mil but he wanted to stay arsenal because of premier league

{Ed001's Note - they got a work permit for him for this season, but Wenger doesn't give him a game so he is looking to leave.}
Yeh that what I mean to say ed001 tar how realistic do u think the chances of him leaving

{Ed001's Note - very realistic, he is looking for an out. Not sure if he will get a permanent move though, as he might get priced out of one. I feel sorry for him, he deserved a chance this season. He has been offered to a number of Prem clubs, including Everton, though it is difficult to tell whether the rep was acting with backing or just thought he would try and organise a deal off his own bat. I would be very surprised if Roberto Martinez was not interested in trying to do a deal as he definitely rates him highly and had him looked at a few times last season. There were even a few exploratory talks between the clubs in the summer regarding him, but nothing was sorted then.}
