Miralles and Niang should both sign over the weekend however not eligible for the Manchester United match, Barkley shall go on a 6 month loan to Sheffield Wednesay were he will gain valuable experience and if Miralles signs and we get an extra striker/Right winger then one of Vellos or Niang will join Barkley and Garbutt on loan to a lower league side

Why would we sign niang and put him on loan. what a load of rubbish. im sure a lot of people on here make things up as they go along!

We have an u19 premier league then why should the young players be loaned out?

It will be! this is more a push to sell season tickets. I live in London and wish the club put on a shuttle service to come up, like Man U does. I would be there every week - but £70-£80 travel every game on trains is just too much

Just got back off my hols and who do I see in JLA? Kevin Ratcliffe the legends asked him how he was an everything, after babbling on about how he was my hero when I was a kid I asked him if he knew about any additional signings Everton would be making, but he told me that he doesn't really have those kind of connections at Everton that could tell him who and who we won't sign. Although he did say from what he's heard from friends etc that we got a good chance of landing someone called merslas or something (never heard of him)? I don't know because I've been away for 2 weeks and had no Internet access so couldnt see any Everton news! :( Anyways he also said we have a good chance of getting Adam Johnson on season long loan!!!!! Sorry if this is old news to anyone but I have been away so..... On another note Ratcliffe is a top bloke. What a player he was too.

Not claiming to be ITK, but my brother passed some info on from a 'friend' that supposedly knows people etc, etc. He thinks Mirallas fee got agreed tonight, he will spend 2/3 days in Greece and then travel over to England, firstly stopping off at London, then at FF. Everton are only about 60-70% confident of securing a deal, so have drawn up a shortlist of 8 names:
Adam Johnson, Clint Dempsey, Nacer Chadli, Jonas Gutierrez, Scott Sinclair, Shane Long, Andre Arshavin and Matt Jarvis.


Spoke to Greg O'Keeffe just a little later, however, and he thinks Everton are still in talks with his club over fee, and is quietly confident from signs shown that the deal will be completed.

That's all I have, I'm sorry if you don't believe me, I'm not here to make things up, I'll keep you updated if I hear anything else

Mirallas has a release clause that is triggered with a bid of £5.3mil or more, so if we bid £5.3mil then we can hold talks with the player, it's as simple as that. I have hears that that release clause does run out some time soon though...

I am a bit puzzled by the idea of his buy-out clause expiring.These clauses are usually put in by the club to deter buyers. Some people are even suggesting that they will now ask for £12m - sounds daft to me.
