good performance today looked promising. Good passing and created goals better than I have ever seen under moyes. But I think that we need a younger man in the midfield to partner barkley because osman isn't good enough and creative enough. any names that could go there?

James MaCarthy would compliment Barkley brilliantly and his young.

Agree4 Disagree1

Would love to see McCarthy but feel he would be a replacement for Fellini if he went. Gutted we don't seem to be able to sign him without selling.

Agree2 Disagree2

Gylfi sigurdson would be my choice

Agree3 Disagree1

Or Barkley with a mix of youth/experience? If so, Diame is perfect; 26 is still young giving you plenty of years before he even reaches his peak, but still has masses of experience in the Premier League.

McCarthy is also a great shout. But in terms of budget, he might be a little too much.

But, in I(R)MWT.

Osman had a bad game, that does not mean we need to replace him, everybody has a bad game from time to time

Really happy for Barkley with that great goal he's deserved that for what he's been through and hope he's gets a lot of playing time this season

I said Gylfi supposed to be our AMC. But after Ross is quite good just say Gylfi enjoy your bench at Spurs. RM. Football is passing and possession Felli and Ossie are not good distributor. Just wait the return of commander Gibbo.

Agree1 Disagree0

John lundstrem. And play stones to

Agree1 Disagree0

No we don't need to replace him, but we needmore quality and more depth in the middle. Barry on loan and Xavi Torres. That would be great for me and it is affordable.

Agree1 Disagree0

What's wrong with Gibson? We need back up in midfield, but Gibson, Fellaini and Ross the Boss would be my preferred midfield three.

Agree1 Disagree0

Not personal in any way.but look at seamus at right back compared to hibbo ossy should be a squard player at best that's the only way we will move forward

Agree1 Disagree0

Barkley did have great game but he's to young to expect it for season, plus that type of pressure on him is not fair, I still think we need an experienced creative midfielder. Chesterblue

Today was what I thought may happen this season we controlled game created chances but conceded 2 we will have more possession under Martinez and am excited about the way we play barkley will be like a 15 million pound signing for us the kid has got so much ability just got to give him as many games as poss main thing today being first game was don't get beat get a point at least on the board which we did yea probably should of won but lots of positives to take from game {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Believable16 Unbelievable0

Agreed, I thought it was an assured performance with a lot of positives. It's only the first game and we did sometimes (although rarely) conceded weak goals under previous management so I am not going to think about that too much based on todays game. it will be a good season and if we sign another striker and/or Jela and Kone convert more of the chances created today then we are going to have a good season. I still think if it all come together we could be outside challengers for the top 4 again this year. Southern Blue

Conceded due to a mix of bad luck and per season errors. I'm sure by the WBA game or one after this may be sorted.

Ed can you see Fellaini going before the deadline? Because I can feel a late major sale is going to happen. {Ed025's Note - if i was betting mike, i would say yes mate.

Believable13 Unbelievable2

Hope not, quality player. Very good premier league midfielder now and he showed that last night without being outstanding. Won the hard ball, pased the ball well and had a few killer touches especially when he pushed into the box.

ED How much do you think Fellani is worth? I don't think he is a 20 million pound player. {Ed025's Note - if i was buying £15m ...if i was selling £30m..

Believable13 Unbelievable1

Perfectly put, ed.

Any truth in the Greizmann rumours?

Believable4 Unbelievable5

Great player, but do we really need another winger?

Agree3 Disagree0

He can play anywhere along the front 3 Ste, and apparently we do if Naismith's played there regularly. He's got a buyout clause of £21m so it'd only happen in Fellaini left.
