If utd want to unload b4 end of jan, something will have to give 2 clubs offered 13 mill, both turned down, there not that desperate then, or does Depay have a say where he plays, ie premier league

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - he will have a say howie but in the end it will come down to who puts the best package together mate..

17 Jan 2017 20:24:07
Even if its a loan deal Ed

Agree0 Disagree0

{Ed001's Note - yes.}

17 Jan 2017 21:03:05
How about a 5million loan with a 12.5 mill to buy think that should suit everyone

Agree1 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - that does not suit united berkshire, they are looking for £20m+ but want nothing at all to do with a loan even if its a loan to buy mate..

17 Jan 2017 21:29:41
It's a Mexican standoff to see who blinks first. Utd appear to hold all the cards but won't want someone at the club who ain't going to play but still has to be paid. Interesting to see what happens.

Then United are going to have some serious thinking to do if nobody stumps up the cash!
A. They take the low ball offer from Lyon
B. They let him sit on the sidelines the rest of the season C. They change their stance on a loan and hope he impresses!

Think this one will run until deadline day! Cue Jim White and his yellow tie! 😫

Try get shaw on the cheap as well. Did he play for RK at Southampton? When fit a great LB and long term replacement for Baines. He has fallen out with morino so could be a good buy in summer 😎

Agree0 Disagree0

18 Jan 2017 10:33:13
Think if we got shaw he would just be company for Gibbo and Besic.

Hi Ed several sources saying the Depay deal is still on, fingers x good player, GuernseyBlue

Believable3 Unbelievable1

{Ed025's Note - i hear we are miles apart GB, we do want him but something will have to give mate..

17 Jan 2017 23:34:15
Would not want to buy him, at least till he has proved he can cut it at this leval. A loan, with an option to by, or walk away.

17 Jan 2017 18:01:23
Depay is still on.
Maybe reliant on Delofeu going to AC Milan

Believable1 Unbelievable2

{Ed025's Note - there does not seem to be any middle ground lance, they want to sell and we want a loan deal so its stalemate mate..

17 Jan 2017 15:15:04
Hi Ed do you have any info on this bid we are supposedly putting in for the young lad from Man C cheers mate, GuernseyBlue

Believable0 Unbelievable1

{Ed002's Note - If this is Adarabioyo who Celtic has shown some level of interest in then he is a free agent in the summer if Manchester City cannnot agree a reasonable contract with him.}

17 Jan 2017 15:35:17
Hi Ed that's the lad thanks, GuernseyBlue

How the hell are we going to sing a song about him if we get him? Can't even say his name!

This kid is highly thought of by City supporters who believe he should have been given a chance by now due to there defensive woes.

Apparently we would be getting a very talented young defender if we pull this off.
My personal opinion is city will give him a new deal and loan him out to get valuable experience rather than sell due to the talent he has.

Belfodil deal has hit a snag his management team want to call of transfer to us because another agent has become involved in it hope we don't let this linger and set a time limit to gets this done by then if not done we move on to other striker targets

Believable0 Unbelievable0

17 Jan 2017 15:12:58
I saw that and also another report that we are having second thoughts so god knows what is going on, papers writing crazy stories just have to wait and see

Who knows southern toffee just seen another roumour on echo live blog saying that a unamed German club intrested in him i only hope mate that we don't let this drag on and if we r getting messed about with by the player and agent we just switch r attention to other striking options

The other agent was lukaku's previous agent and think still has mirrallas and henen on his books. He has a good relationship with everton and may help broker a deal. Possibly ed02 can comfirm this.

told you it is all this third partner ownership crap, just ruins negotiations from the start, so many hoops to jump through.

Hello fellow Evertonians,

I very rarely post on this site anymore but remain an avid reader, I think the Ed's are doing a cracking job by the way, keep up the good work. The reason for my post is that I have had confirmation today that Bramley Moore Dock is 100% nailed on, it's all done and dusted. This has came from a very reliable source. I have never posted a rumour on this site because I don't claim to be ITK, and have never received information about the club prior to something being announced, but I had to share this with you because it is from someone very trustworthy and who is affiliated with the new stadium in some way and so it got me very excited. Anyway, the future is looking bright once again blues. Up the toffees!

The best thing about the young players coming through now is we actually have the money to keep them. We don't have to sell like we used to, to survive, which means we can only get better and better. this is going to be a great future for Everton FC.

To be fair the unwanted tag of being a selling club has gone now. The media are starting to view us as a buying club, for good reason. There will always be talk of transfers out as with all clubs. But not on the scale that it was when Moyes was in charge.

Now with the rumours Jags is on his way, I believe this opens the door for Fonte to sign. I know he's not the youngest but will plug a hole for a season or 2.

He's 33 Davies from spurs is not getting a game he's half his age might be worth a look at.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 08:37:06
Would rather keep jags

Agree2 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 08:44:09
Would be a strange move for me. Don't see the point in getting rid of one aging player to replace him with another. Much rather keep jags if that's the case

Agree3 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 09:01:22
But Davies is a left back no?

Agree2 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 10:06:29
RK clearly doesn't rate Jags highly enough for him to be 1st choice. With his age he isn't going to improve - in fact the opposite is likely. He has been a great servant so let him go and play somewhere where his contribution is appreciated.
For me we need a quality (ideally left sided) CB to play alongside Ash. VVD would be great or maybe Gibson from Boro (I think he is left sided? )

Ben Davies as someone stated is a LB

Agree1 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 10:53:25
To be fair, Davies often plays cb for Wales and has performed very well in that position. That said, I don't think he is the solution. Vvd would be my dream but being more realistic I'd be very happy with Keane or Gibson. Saying that, both of them are costly but would be happy stumping it up for them

Agree1 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 11:26:25
Let him go, one last big pay day for the bloke. Has served us well so would not begrudge him that. But if we are serious about aiming for top four then we have to go for Van Dijk regardless of cost.

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 11:40:09
I honestly wouldn't mind letting Jags go and giving Holgate a run until the end of the season - then bring in someone over the summer if we need to. This window is a good time to offload older players when clubs are desperate. Sell only though - no loans. We aren't really playing for any trophies and catching the top 6 is a tall order but not impossible. I'd be tempted to give some of the kids a run out until the end of the season. See how they do.

17 Jan 2017 11:51:34
I wonder what happened to all the gossip about the Burnley CB Keane I think his name is, anybody know?

Agree0 Disagree0

17 Jan 2017 16:41:03
What ever happened to our interest in Kone from Sunderland?

Agree0 Disagree2

17 Jan 2017 03:08:16
If Jags is going to sunderland, then could we please have Pickford rather than Kone, good last season, but this season been found out a bit, Gibson seems a much better c/ back, if m/ bought want gerry a deal might be possible!

Believable2 Unbelievable0

17 Jan 2017 07:07:41
Looks like Sunderland it's a swap deal with Kone and McCarthy plus 10 mil going our way anything on that one Eds. I hope not

Agree3 Disagree0

{Ed025's Note - not yet AB..

17 Jan 2017 07:55:06
Everton please don't sell McCarthey, he one of our best players, too good for Sunderland.

17 Jan 2017 08:28:53
Swap deals are very rare and must suit all parties i'm not sure its as easy as you think.
