Rob Heinman check spelling the man linked with a takeover of Everton has said that there is serious interest in Everton from some serious consortiums and as we speak they are in discussions with Bill Kenwright and it should be all sorted in the coming months.

Can you relay the quote?
What EXACTLY did he say?

Seen the article now
Also mentioned that he was over here in August had discussions with BK.
Number of things weren't right including the price.

Reading through the article again. questions have to be asked if he was here to discuss buying in August then what 'put him off '?
And why would the 'others' hiding in the bushes behind him want to buy if he didn't?
With the increase in TV Money the price won't be going down.
What is 225m getting you anyway. We don't own the training ground. still at least 5 other big loans outstanding. Goodison needs replacing
What's left is the TV income. In that case why sell?
It's a win win for the Board. regular income and no need to invest
Happy days
On another note. Where are the comments from one of our biggest owners?
Does Mr Earl even know who Howard Kendal was?
Smokes mirrors.

How much do the board take from the club each year? If you take spending from income there's not an awful lot left. It's far from a nice little earner. The pay off comes when they sell their shares for seven times what they paid.

Exactly mikeN. IF your theory is right. That means the board never got any money since investing in the club. When no one else would put down the money for the club.
I'm not a fan of the board. But all a lot of people seem to want to do is give out about them and talk about how much money they are making. Same people seem to think they don't work for or at the club which is also untrue.
They may make money on Everton. Fair play to them if they do. It was THEM that put the money in when no one else would. THEY are also doing an ok job running the club. I think things are imroving.
Imo its the best squad we have had in awhile. The board have to of played a role in that. It was also more or less their decision not to sell Stones. Don't hear many people pointing that out about them. Or even saying anything positive about them at all. Maybe I'm missing something but all these negative comments and conspiracy theories are a bit much.
Bill is a decent man trying to do the best for the club he loves. That's my humble opinions anyway. I know people won't agree. Then again we'll never be short of people looking to give out. Bout the players, managers, board whatever. Some times it is justified but constantly I don't think so. Give the board and mostly yourselfs a break from giving out about them.
