Reading through the article again. questions have to be asked if he was here to discuss buying in August then what 'put him off '?

And why would the 'others' hiding in the bushes behind him want to buy if he didn't?

With the increase in TV Money the price won't be going down.

What is 225m getting you anyway. We don't own the training ground. still at least 5 other big loans outstanding. Goodison needs replacing

What's left is the TV income. In that case why sell?
It's a win win for the Board. regular income and no need to invest
Happy days

On another note. Where are the comments from one of our biggest owners?

Does Mr Earl even know who Howard Kendal was?

Smokes mirrors.

How much do the board take from the club each year? If you take spending from income there's not an awful lot left. It's far from a nice little earner. The pay off comes when they sell their shares for seven times what they paid.

Exactly mikeN. IF your theory is right. That means the board never got any money since investing in the club. When no one else would put down the money for the club.

I'm not a fan of the board. But all a lot of people seem to want to do is give out about them and talk about how much money they are making. Same people seem to think they don't work for or at the club which is also untrue.

They may make money on Everton. Fair play to them if they do. It was THEM that put the money in when no one else would. THEY are also doing an ok job running the club. I think things are imroving.

Imo its the best squad we have had in awhile. The board have to of played a role in that. It was also more or less their decision not to sell Stones. Don't hear many people pointing that out about them. Or even saying anything positive about them at all. Maybe I'm missing something but all these negative comments and conspiracy theories are a bit much.

Bill is a decent man trying to do the best for the club he loves. That's my humble opinions anyway. I know people won't agree. Then again we'll never be short of people looking to give out. Bout the players, managers, board whatever. Some times it is justified but constantly I don't think so. Give the board and mostly yourselfs a break from giving out about them.

Yarmalenko still wants to join everton according to his agent shabily tonight despite just signing a contract extension at dinamo - i guess the ukranians just wanna get top price for him when they sell!

did his agent do an updated interview? The one i saw said he wants to join the premier league. His agent said he had meetings with roberto martinez and that was it. Don't remember saying anything specifically about everton or yarmolenko wanting to come here. One of the eds said he doesn't want to come here. Ukrainian source has said everton should avoid negotiations, the player has messed us, dortmund, stoke and inter milan around.

i agree swan. Too much faffing around. If he wanted to come to everton he more than likely would of came in the summer and it would be a lot more widespread in the media that is what he wants. Forget about him and try to sign someone else. Plenty of other players out there without being fixated on him. He does look like he's giving us and other clubs the run around.

Yarmelenko pff who cares had a chance to sign and never, he's good but not worth the hassle.

He signed an extension to make sure Dynamo get "A fair price"
There are plenty of players who wouldn't have done that just to get a better deal for themselves.
And Mikedeblue, he is worth the hassle, he's a top player.

Sounds like a pre Madonna to me, name checking certain clubs in interviews and pushing for better, no thanks thinking of leaving before he's arrived.
