Vote on the new poll asking Would Messi be as good/successful in the PL as he is at Barca?

Believable7 Unbelievable16

No he wouldn't

Agree6 Disagree2

Barca and Bayern just won in England stop thinking the best teams are in the prem. He's breaking records of the likes of di stefano and only 26. He'd murder some of the donkeys in the prem. ask any top prem player, they know how good he his. Infact ask Deulofeu, then a think u'd listen

Agree2 Disagree0

Would he be as effective and successful in the Premier League as the other foreign top performers like Sergio Aguero or (I hate to say this) Luis Suarez? I believe that he would be.
Would he be as prolific as he is in Spain? I don't think he would be.
Look at Ronaldo's goal scoring records at Manchester United and Real Madrid. I imagine that Messi would have similar goals-to-games ratios in the two leagues.
They're both fantastic footballers and would grace any league in the world.

Agree0 Disagree0

Depends on which team he joins in premier league. if he were to join Manchester City, who prefers to play quick short passing game, he would surely be as prolific, if not better. His ball control, acceleration is unrivalled in world football, he would murder the defenders here, than in Spain. Defenders are technically poor, big beasts here, who always seems to struggle against pace and they would find it so hard to contain a player of Messi's agility. Messi is too good not to excel in any league and there is a reason why he won the Best player of the year 4 times. But for now, he owes his entire career to Barcelona, he is loving it there, he is the best player in the world and he is scoring for fun, and saying something like "he would not have excelled if he were in premier league" is just pointless and I would guess, would come out of jealousy or may be blind love for Ronaldo, as there is no proof for that argument. But if silvas and matas can excel better in premier league than in spain, then there is every reason to believe that Messi will be better in england than in Spain. But this will remain as a pointless poll, (no offence to the one who created the poll) and a matter of debate untill he actually comes to Premier league, which we all know is very unlikely.

In the words of Churchill oh yes, Is he the best player in the world? Again oh yes.

Guys, I am definately not in the know and would never say but from 4 people I have heard that Rodwell expects to be back at Goodison next year.

Also Bobby will look to Chelsea again next season for a forward unfortunately not Lakuku but Victor Moses.

Gerard will be with us another season plus another prospect from Barca.

Finally our mate Moist, over at Manchester United will attempt to get Seamus there plus Luke Shaw from Soton as he has failed to get Baines.

Your thoughts people as I personally think Jack had promise but that's it

Rodwell rumour I possibly believe as apparently we tried to get him on loan (even though we had our full quota of loan players domestically) in the latter hours of deadline day (Jan.). Moses won't be true, he's a winger not a froward. So if Lukaku doesn't stay, we'll also get at least one new forward as well as Moses (assuming Moses rumour is true). Gerard I think is 50/50 atm. And Seamus is going nowhere. Mark. My. Words.

Ed I am a rangers fan and know how good steven naismith can be and for me he changed the game against swansea at the weekend and given his injury problems it was obviously going to take him time to get fully fit but at the weekend he was great and looked like the player I knew at rangers. I think he should be given a chance from the start in games would love to know all your thought's.

I'd love to see Rodwell be a success back at Everton and if Roberto Martinez thinks it can happen, then I support that. Perhaps he could be ideally suited to the Gareth Barry role in the longer term?

Agree1 Disagree0

Sorry but would not want Rodwell back as we have moved on for the better, he was always injured with his first stint at ours and I don't see much changing we should spend money elsewhere.

Rodwell is useless, want doofy loofy to stay, lukaku can go back, I like moses and moyes can f right off

Agree0 Disagree0

Hey Chelsea fan in peace you were unlucky today probably deserved a point but just thought you guys might want to know i'm 90% sure we will be loaning you Thorgan hazard next season don't hold me to it but I am pretty confident. His playing style is a bit deeper then his brothers but he has excellent vision and skill.Haven't heard anything about Moses although it would make some sense as I think we will look to sell and Martinez knows him and he would be relatively cheap.I wouldn't expect to keep hold of delofeou just because Barca look like they may sell Tello and bringing Defelou back would make sense but still all the best good luck with the rest of your season

You have promise between 17 and 20 not at his age, what's he now 22 or 23. Misses far to many games and with Gibbo out a lot we can't afford 2 middle men missing lots of games. So for me I would say let him go somewhere else.
