Evertons best team in my opinion
Howard
Neville distin jags Baines
Fellani
Coleman Osman Cahill drenthe
Saha/velios
Hibbert has be excellent recently and has to be in the starting 11 imo
I agree, hibbert was great on saturday. He defended brilliantly and even provided the cross for the velios header
Bez the blue
Hibbo is definitely better than Neville at Right back, time for Neville to sit on the bench, Hibbo saved 2 goals against Wigan, and has been absolutely terrific.
Also, Rodwell has been very good, especially in the 1st half of the Wigan game, to me has stepped up since Arteta leaving and hopefully he can forge a partnership between Fellaini
My team would be:
Howard
Hibbo Jags Distin Baines
Fellaini Rodwell
Osman Cahill Drenthe
Saha or Vellios
Hibbert stuck in about 6 TOP crosses on Saturday and was great in defense too (much better than his strolling towards the Villa winger for their 2nd goal the week before).
I'd play:
Howard
Hibbo - Jags - Distin - Baines
Gueye - (any 2 from Barkely Fellaini Rodwell) - Drenthe
then any 2 from (Cahill, Osman, Vellios, Denis, Saha) in no particular order but not Osman plus Cahill together.
I don't think we'll see Cahill as main attacker again.
Coleman was not at his best last week after flying the week before. Heitinger is going to get annoyed he's not playing but he's not really a centre mid. They'll all get games though.
But we've definitely got options now - all over the park.
Just need some extra confidence, plus a bit more workrate in centre midfield and we might not do too bad this season - fingers crossed :)
Don't think cahill can play in centre mid IMO. People don't like it but were always going to play 4-5-1 with moyes in charge, so going on that, are best team IMO is;
Howard
Neville Jagielka Distin Baines
Coleman Rodwell Fellaini Drenthe
Cahill
Saha
Subs.
Mucha
Hibbert
Osman
Barkley
Heitinga
Bilyaletdinov
Vellios or Straqualesui
I know Hibbert has been outstanding in past 2 games but we have to play Neville because it's a long season and Neville is vital when things aren't going well in games, top captain IMO.
I would also swap Cahill and Osman play them both rotating keep them both fresh because there important to how we play
Velios is a long way from being a premiershipship striker. The lad has done fantastically well coming of the bench in the last 2 games and is probably a good impact player, but his movement and link up play need a lot of work. He is a young lad though and hopefully can develop those traits to become a decent striker
