We're after Will Hughes from Derby, great prospect and rated highly by many experts.

Believable11 Unbelievable3

No we're not - but the darkside are.

Agree0 Disagree2

Genuinely not sure that we need him at the moment. Central Midfield stocks are pretty full at the moment with osman, heits, gibson, barry, barkley, mccarthy and youngsters like lundstram and franky junior coming through. Would be one for the future rather than now.

Agree1 Disagree0

The Red side are. Great player but will be too expensive for us.
Degsypulford

Agree0 Disagree0

We got the money for him

Agree0 Disagree0

Some sites saying we've joined the race for him, and yes we've still got Felli money to spend.

Agree0 Disagree0

From what I've see he looks a really good prospect but we've obviously got the bet prospect around so we don't want to go daft with the price. £6-7 mill I reckon

Just watched rm press conference, I love everything he has to say he is positive, answers all the questions with a smile and is very inviting! Only thing I didn't like was his response to the Leighton baines question regarding a new contract, he said no talks are taking place and nothing planned either! Hopefully he's fibbing and talks really are going on! Can't wait till Saturday!

Believable5 Unbelievable1

That backs up the rumour I have heard and confirmed today by Stubbs that Baines definitely wanted away to Utd in the Summer, which is why I said he would not sign a new contract. I hope Martinez has a good scout network and is already looking for Baines replacement. Moyes will come back in January with a £15 Mill bid but if I were Kenwright I would hold out for more. After all if Utd are willing to bid £25 Mill for Shaw they can get an established International for say £18-£20 Mill.

Agree0 Disagree0

It does not back up the rumour at all. It just states that no talks are happening at the moment and they tend not to whilst games come thick and fast. Shameless attempts to unsettle the player If he wanted to go he would have, Utd soul have met the fee as they did felli and done. Utd are going after Luke shaw as a more long term prospect.

Agree0 Disagree0

That's prob because they already agreed a deal with utd to buy him in jan. if you ask me I don't think baines looks happy!

Ed will we be getting new kits again next year with the badge changing again. I have recently bought my lad the 3 new kits and find it shocking if they are changing them all again next season. {Ed025's Note - they will be changing the badge at least mate..people in the commercial sector will always try to screw the supporters for an extra few bob, for me, kit bag.. should be re-named..s**t bag lango..

Believable1 Unbelievable1

I've heard we will be changing kit manufacture to Warrior so it will be new kit new badge, and before people say don't they make ***** kits. Yes they do and I don't care who makes them as long as the are decent and widely available. Our Niki kit is not widely available.

Agree0 Disagree1

Simple answer to you Lango! don't buy them mate, it's your decision not Evertons.

Ste 1878

Agree0 Disagree1

They will change the kits regardless of the badge change

Agree1 Disagree0

We change all 3 every year, new badge or not! the 90's were the best when the new home kit would come out and we would keep it 2 years and the new away came out the year after and kept for 2 years so it was only 1 new kit to buy a season but then greedy buggers ruin it, I remember when united had 5 new kits in a season

Agree0 Disagree0

Well the deal with Nike was for 3 years so I doubt we'll be switching to warrior before then, although I haven't been very impressed with Nikes offerings so far. Well the home kits at least.

Agree0 Disagree0

The availability is not to do with Nike, its Kitbag as they sponsor are kit. that's why its not aloud to be sold in JD an places like this! As for the Nike kits they've all been boss imo!
SpekBlue

Agree0 Disagree0

We get new kits every year.

Agree0 Disagree0

To be fair ed, it's not kit bags fault that were changing kit, it's all the fans who wanted rid of the admittedly awful new badge. I do feel the club can't win some times. {Ed025's Note - i see that stu, and i know all clubs change strips frequently, i just feel for the unwaged and low paid families who cant afford luxuries like new shirts every year...ill get off my soap box now mate..

Ed can you clear one thing up - when is the first opportunity for Chelsea to recall Lukaku? As on last nights performance I would think Mourinho will soon start to loose patience. {Ed025's Note - as far as i am aware, we have a loan contract until the end of the season, they cant just call him back on a whim..

I think they may have a clause set up but there would be huge costs involved to them if they did recall, only way that would benefit us is if the FA allowed us to then purchase a striker as an emergency replacement which would be doubtful.

I can't beleive they even let him go out on loan, what where they thinking

Degsy {Ed025's Note - they can only recall if given special permission by the fa degs im told, so not very likely mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Squads have to submit a completed squad list after the window closes. Even if they could recall him, he couldn't play until January when the squad registration window opens again. There would be no point at all in them taking him back. {Ed002's Note - The PL rules restrict the number of loan players per season to four in total; the number at any one time to two, the number from any one club to two and the number from anyone club at any one time to one. There are some exclusions for the likes of Goalkeepers and players on a loan-to-buy deal (as opposed to an option to buy). I don't believe any allowance is made at all for recalling players anymore. I suspect that it would need an exception ruling to be made by the FA. The minimum period of a loan is one window and the maximum is two - although in that case it would likely be possible to build a break clause in halfway.}

Agree0 Disagree0

Year long loans that involve a fee for the loan are not subject to recalls. He's with us for the season.

For whatever reason, Mourinho thinks he's not ready, maybe he needs to improve his link up play but that's being picky. If he can get 20+ goals this season who knows where we'll end up. Barkley, Mirallas, Lukaku and Nuts as a front four could be quite exciting with Bainsey and Coleman bombing down the wings too! COYB!

sounds good too me Ed

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

He wouldn't have to be registered for Chelsea to be eligible to play for them as he is under the age of 21 and under Premier League rules you don't have to register players who are under the age of 21 so if they had the option of recalling him he would be able to play for them. BUT. there was a Chelsea correspondent on last night who said they DON'T have a option to recall him so its looks like he's with us for the season. thank god!
