Just what is going on at EFC?

Man City, the richest football club on the planet get a £400m 'Investment'.

How many years have we been searching 24/7 and not received a penny.

For £400m could have bought club AND built a new ground.

So who has been searching 24/7 whilst Bill has been ill?
Anyone?

{Ed025's Note - i think it was £260m lance, so not really much at all mate.. :)

Those financiers are looking for a return on their investment and the income generated by a moden 50,000 stadium, Champions League football, winning trophies, growing worldwide commercial revenue, etc., etc., are surely what they conside to be a worthwhile risk.
If Everton could offer that - in actuality now and not just a wishful, thinking - then I'm sure there'd be lots of potential investors, but (as Ed001 has pointed out in comments the other week) the investors need to know that they could exit from their investment - hopefully at a profit, but certainly not at a loss - at some point n the future.
I wonder if Everton are in a catch-22 situation where we need investment in order to get investment and so on and so on ad infinitum (or ad nauseum depending on your point of view! ) .

My point is that there are investors out there and there have been plenty of examples recently. (Kansas, the Palace investors and the Chinese )

So my original question remains. as Bill is incapacitated at the moment, who is the one who is searching 24/7?

Or is anyone?

{Ed025's Note - the club seem to be playing the waiting game lance, the chinese are looking to buy into the english game and at the moment look the best bet as a buyer or investor, its a long process though mate so dont expect anything to happen short term..
