I doubt if there was a figure involved it will be very minimal. Blacktown dont even play in the National competition in Australia.

If there was something going on behind the scenes i would of expected a lot more than £6m being spent in January, especially when we received a lot more than that in sales during the summer. Whats your thoughts on this Ed? Do you think there is someting going on
Cheeks {Ed025's Note - there is something going on cheeks...its called sensible business strategy!...the board must have finally realised, that unless you invest in your business, it will deteriorate and in the end will become worthless...which is what we have been telling them for years!..
I do also think there is something in the pipeline, I think that a takeover has already been concluded but the organisation that has purchased shares is holding out until the end of the season to ensure our Premier League status is intact!
There is no way that we have been taken over and that they are waiting till the end of the season, the media would of been all over an everton takeover

Can we just stop on this takeover talk? We signed a 16 YEAR OLD playing in the LOCAL state league in Australia. Hardly a takeover in the pipeline is it? If we signed Rooney or someone, then yes, you can mount a case, but the fact we have signed a youngster who is unknown to even Australians such as myself, kind of ridiculous to link this with a takeover isnt it?
