edison buddel to signs, he knows where the goal is and cant be worse than any striker we have, watch this guy on youtube, he was far to good to be in the MLS.

Believable5 Unbelievable6

He is 31 and has scored 9 goals in the german 2nd division. It would be the equivelant of us signing kenny miller or someone similar.

Agree4 Disagree2

I'm a bit worried by this, he failed to get a contract with west ham not too long ago.

Agree1 Disagree1

I hate the phrase when describing a strikers "know's where the goal is" its obvious he knows where it is. I think every player on the pitch knows where it is, I know where it is. You probably know where it is!

Agree1 Disagree1

Wish we would have got Kenny Miller, he'd have been 100% better than Saha and would score goals, god Moyes would drop him for doing that!!1

Agree1 Disagree1

He has scored 17 goals this season for that german club, top goal scorer in german 2nd division, would you take the top goal scorer in the championship? exactly, give this guy a chance!

Everton are close to a £500,000 deal for Portugal Under-23 forward Eder.
From the sun today, says the same in a few other papers coul still be on the cards?? {Ed025's Note - i cant believe you admit to reading the sun!!

Believable8 Unbelievable5

The sun show some respect ffs

Agree1 Disagree5

Fair play… can you actually see it happening now ed? {Ed025's Note - it depends on whether he turns up..

Agree1 Disagree0

Hes scored 12 goals in 80 games

Agree2 Disagree0

To be fair he may not be scoring that many be could be setting up chances, something our frontmen never do! Saha just stands up top waiting for it there's no movement maybe this eder could be the creative spark we need now arteta has gone

Agree1 Disagree1

Sorry but for me this is down to fellaini

He can't run - he gets turned all the time by more mobile opposition - I'm watching him every game - he's hardly evervwhere needed - often 30 or 40 yards from where he should be

You know how there never seems to be an outlet pass for our players - so they hoof it? Well that's because our centre midfielder, who should be everywhere and available to everyone most of e time - is slowly jogging around the place doing nothing - please guys, start to watch this guy and what he does and then see if you think we should build our team around him

Please god let's hope we buy another central midfielder - or get rodwell or Barkley back asap - fellaini is going to get us relegated

Please moyes sell him asap

Second longest team in top flight league (since last time in second division) could be coming to an end and that will be your legacy kenwright

Believable9 Unbelievable6

Well I agree he is overrated somewhat but I think he is played wrong position he is not a cm I would play him sat in front of back for and play more attacking play team as follows

Xxxxxxx Howard xxxxxxxx

Coleman. Jags. Distin. Baines

Xxxxxxxx Fellaini xxxxxxxx

Gibson
Donavon Drenthe

Vellios
Anachibe

Donavon

Agree2 Disagree5

You really do not go to the game do you? or you have never played football in your life? one of the two. fellaini is the outlet ball dropping deep from midfield for the centre halves at least 80% of the time and he looks to turn and use the ball but cant due to lack of movement in front of him. the reason he occasionally looks out of position which i will agree with is because he is the only midfielder who puts pressure on the ball and closes down the opposition and nobody follows him. he cannot do it on his own and therefore premier league opposition can pick him off in two passes because nobody is supporting him. hes the best central midfielder at the club without any doubt.

rant over.

Agree13 Disagree9

Seriously? he is one of our best players and one of the best box to box midfeilders in the world, he was unlucky not to score today cus' of a class save and a block off the line! although felli is restricted by how our lack of creative midfielders though

Agree12 Disagree6

Fellaini is our best player. What game are you watching? I dread to think of our midfield without him!!

Agree1 Disagree5

Hes our best player (exept for donavan) at the moment he plays a lot better with rodwell or barkley with him saying hes gettin us relegated is idiotic he is a rising star and one of the best defensive midfielders in the prem.

Agree8 Disagree6

You've got 12 players in there - but yep fellaini isn't doing anything, so I suppose he doesn't count

And to the other poster - I'm a season tkt holder and play footy every week and for the last 40 years - plus been watching it for that long too - and I play centre mid - and this guy is not involved anywhere near enough - the game is passing him by - start watching him every week - and that fluffed header he missed from 6 yards out with 5 mins to go that bounced off his shoulder from a brilliant cross - well it summed him up for me

Agree5 Disagree2

Fellaini played heaps good last night one of are best players

Agree1 Disagree4

Can't believe you can criticise Fellaini - we played Blackburn with effectively 10 men on the pitch as Saha stunk the place out yet again, but Moyes must take most of the blame for not recognising the problem!

Agree2 Disagree1

Fluffed a header? Do you mean theone that needed a full length save from Robinson and went for a corner?

You've played football for 40 years and never did even 1% of what Felli has done. maybe you should learn from him!

Agree2 Disagree1

I agree, was at Spurs last week and for me Felli bossed the midfield.....their lot couldnt handle him. Plus remember he has been out for quite a while.....to come back like that was pretty I say. We need to play better as a unit. The goals we conceded are comical and its very frustrating. Another ricochet, ball hits a bloke and bobbles in. Getting tired of conceding goals like that. We will come good. I agree with an earlier post, the crowd need to get behind the team. We have always thrived on great togetherness and I am sorry Blue Union (hypocritical name) have undermined our season from the start. Well done lads.

Agree4 Disagree0

Well there is a reason that you are still playing sunday league/pub football at 40+ years of age and marouane fellaini is playing centre mid for everton at 24 years old. the guy is different class and for you to say hes getting us relegated shows that your just one of the clueless fans who makes the players fear playing at home.

Agree5 Disagree1

Felli is a holding midfielder, and he does it well. I do think he should trim his afro though, seems to cushion his headers somewhat.

alastair

Agree1 Disagree1

I guess you have is so different to the pro game,CM on a sunday morning you must get a stiff neck from watching the ball go over your head all the time maybe you would fit into our central midfield! how can you compare what you do to the prem? felli is quality everyone in the game knows it, he looks casual but very rarely gives the ball away, always looks to bring it down and pass it not hoof ot like some of the other clowns and has great positional sense. ok he lacks pace and needs to work on his heading ( a haircut would help that), if I was him I would be cursing signing that new contract at the moment he is far too good for us and we are lucky to have him show some loyalty where others would have been off like a shot- wella

Agree1 Disagree1

I think some of you guys are guilty of watching him only when he has the ball - so yep he has a reasonable touch and can dominate the 3 or 4 yard circle around him - but you should be watching the 90 per cent of the time he's away from the play and doing nothing - or slowly jogging about the place 30 or 40 yards from the action - and not offering an outlet to the other players around the pitch - hence the goofing we end up doing - so you fellaini fans - start to keep one eye on him for the 90 of his game when he's not on or close to the ball - rather than the times he is and see if you think he's great then - that's all I'm asking - for you to watch him properly - like when he's not closing down etc etc then you may see what I mean

Agree0 Disagree1

And to the couple of nobheads here who made this about me - all I said was I play and watch footy for fun for 40 years after the first guy said I never watch or even play the game - so I told him I did but at a fun level - same as everyone else on here - i'm quite happy with my career thanks all the same :) - and in my opinion - for whatever it's worth - same as everyone elses on here - fellaini is one of our main problems - I've just watched arsenal Manu and spurs city and all there midfielders are comfy on the ball and are running non stop and always near the play - fellaini has no chance of one of those 'top' teams coming in for him

Agree1 Disagree1

Fellaini covers more ground than any everton player every match FACT check it out for yourselves.

Agree1 Disagree0

Where are you getting this 'fact' from?
(please show your link source)
And even IF he's covering more than other everton players that's because he's playing centre midfield so you would expect that (and the others are moving even less!) - only a comparison with other premiership midfielders is useful - and I bet he's coming nowhere near a lot of them - and also - its not just ground covered its what you do when you're on or around the ball - fellaini just gets the ball and passes it off simply elsewhere letting other (supposedly) 'lesser' players do the harder stuff like creating an attack

compare him to some of the other decent midfielders out there

he jogs around slowly - often miles away from the action and he' too slow to close opposition players down - by the time he's covered the 5-10 yards to that nearest player (takes him about 5 seconds) the ball is long gone...

If fellaini is such a good player - how come we're playing such crap football when he's playing centre midfield - arguably the most important position on the pitch -

if your 2 centre midfielders are playing well your team looks good and the football seems to flow - if your centre mids are playing crap - you'll soon notice that your team is playing crap

how come we're so crap if fellaini is so good? {Ed025's Note - in my opinion he is an average midfielder, not bad, but far from great!..

If kenwright cannot get the price he wants for the club now, i hope he understands how little he would get for us as a championship club. Please go now, get out while you can, and let a new owner try to save this GREAT club, from the depths you have draged us too.

Believable7 Unbelievable6

Im pretty sure we are in talks with people mate, it takes a while for a take over to actually be concluded

Agree3 Disagree5

Hes destroying our club and all these people who support him need to open there eyes, we are a club sliding into the sh!£%er because of him

BK 'Sign this non-disclosure. I want 150m ......end of'

Buyer naffs off......

Agree4 Disagree3

If we were still owned by johnson we would have been relegated long before now the fact that we are still in the premier league is thanks to bill kenright yes i agree its time for him to move on but a bit of respect for what he has helped us achieve yes some people will say i am confused or stupid or an person but would we hav had european football with peter johnson no would we have england internationals in the squad with johnson no would we have finished in the top seven on a regular basis with johnson no i say again it is time for bill to move on but come on guys respect were its due it could have been a hell of a lot worse!........grbefc

Agree1 Disagree2

Barcleyis are best playr by a mile

Agree1 Disagree0

Johnson spent more in ayear than lying bill ina decade

Agree3 Disagree0

Its earl we should we asking questions of more money than bill

Agree2 Disagree1

Totally agree mate. We enjoyed some of the best times in the last 20 years over recent seasons and think Bill needs more respect than he is getting. Lay off

Agree4 Disagree1

Would take BK & Moyesy with money over any other Chairman / Manager in prem. Fans would do well to appreciate what has been done by both. However, all good things come to an end and believe both are getting closer. If we havent got a buyer by then then how we go on heaven knows. Dont understand why Barkley or Vellios are not used more!

Vagner Love to Everton Witth Dinyar Bilyaletdinov going the other way

Believable8 Unbelievable8

I wish that were true… would take that swap anyday

Agree5 Disagree1

I would really love this to be true but I can't see it. I think the most we can hope for it Moyes signing a few young stars from the lower divisions on free's at the end of the season. Such as Maynard. I'd love to see Kalou on that list too.....wishful thinking though!.

Agree3 Disagree1

I wish

has ederzito lopes signed ed coz been told he signed an eveyone on here said it has fell through?
...bluebellboy...

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Possible eder not in squad last night.

Agree2 Disagree1

Nope not true eder is still in portugal and on portguese tv stated that hes going no were.

Agree0 Disagree2

Just been in nando's and saw quaresma and eder? well the both from portugal and both linked to us any news on them two ed? if were having talks with them {Ed025's Note - sorry i dont know..

Agree1 Disagree0

We're at the 14th position at the moment, but i think it's a great position counting that we have the worst playing style of the league. We play without creative players so don't expect nothing with this style of play.

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Spot on worst team for 20 years see better on park on a sonday big bang up front that's it only way we create anything is from a freekick or corner time for change ste 44

Agree1 Disagree3

'we don't create nothing'.
that's a double negative.

Agree1 Disagree1

And its all because of two people. Moyse is tactically inept. negative and has no creative instincts. He changes players who he signs ie Drenthe on the right, Donovan on the left, Gibson holding midfield. Then has Big Momma and a poor Anelka like sulk up front. Kenwright a chairman who does not talk and explain decisons to the fans or the shareholders. Both need to go, the club is stale and in a relegation fight. Wake up people

Agree1 Disagree7

We are not the worst team in the league that crown belongs to the reds of klanfield.

Agree6 Disagree5

Glad Timmy scored today hopefully that will give him the confidence lift he needs,
well done legend.

Agree1 Disagree1

How is 14th a great position to be in? We're s**t u prick

Agree6 Disagree4

The worst team in twenty years? Some people have got god-awful memories. Moyes may not have been the most exciting of managers this season but the reality is without him we would have been relegated by now and then we really WOULD be f#cked finacially

Agree1 Disagree4

This is a sad state of affairs fellow blues. the best player on the pitch was shane duffy today. other than that,it was without doubt the worst display by any everton team for a long time, going back to the mike walker days. {Ed025's Note - i wish i could say you were wrong...but i cant..

Agree6 Disagree3

Being 14th means we dont have that far to fall now. Anyone who thinks we are not in a relegation fight now must live in dreamland.

Agree1 Disagree0

Moyes looking at Emmanuel Emenike and Ideye Brown

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Sick of all these players moyes is linked with he changes more than the weather we are really in bad way squad not good enough 3 wins out of 11 at home relegation form something as got to happen soon please save are great club bluepops

Agree1 Disagree1

Don't know what to think of this...
Sco.

Agree4 Disagree2

Moyes isnt looking at all these players, people make the names and stories up...just like the newspapers.
DM was looking at David Dunn today and the other 10 Blackburn players....rumour started

Agree1 Disagree2

21 Jan 2012 14:44:53
Is this kid from Academia not coming now ed ?
Also i heard Moyes on the radio today say that he will make a decision about Buddle by monday, Barry Horne said he saw him in training and he looked impressive and very quick {Ed025's Note - it looks very doubtful now mate..

Believable5 Unbelievable4

If he signed them he wouldnt- play them he has contempt for strikers

Agree0 Disagree0

Quaresma in the executive box..Wonder what for? I have been saying this for the last 2 weeks but people rubbishing it..Now what u got to say?

Believable7 Unbelievable6

Any confirmation on this ed?? {Ed025's Note - i have heard this..but i cannot confirm..

Agree1 Disagree4

Yeah fair play to you on that 1

Agree1 Disagree3

Is this quesesma rumour true or wot ? , another poor showing at home how long till bill does the best thing an leave

Agree1 Disagree3

Any photographic evidence

Agree1 Disagree1

Was quaresma actually in the executive box or not?

Agree1 Disagree1

Fact, have you seen quaresma play, if you have then you will know that he is not coming to us

Agree0 Disagree3

Who the jaysus is Quaresma? (sorry for the ignorance). {Ed007's Note - Ricardo Quaresma who plays for Besiktas. (I hope lol).}

Agree1 Disagree0

Ed, you heard he was in executive box or just heard about a link? {Ed007's Note - Sorry mate I don't know. I was only answering the poster that asked who it was. I'm only tidying up the pages for Ed025, he got a new batch of his 'blue pills' through today and hasn't been seen since.}

Agree0 Disagree0

It was on some danish tv link on myp2p they zoomed in on him but that means nothing he could have been there for blackburn n not us, but yeah a freind of mine who watched it online said he saw it but who knows aye :)

Agree0 Disagree0

If they see stuff, why not print screen it. Simples.

Agree1 Disagree0

Lol ED007 get on this page more {Ed001's Note - 007 might have to, last time 025 got a new batch of his pills, he was found a month later face down on the pavement outside the Grafton, stark naked except for a sock on his bits. A child's sock....}

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 14:29:14
Apparently deal done, Bily (Back to Russia) and Saha (Qatar) out before end month, in Jones and Onouha , Moyes is also keen on Aussie Holman as well, from reliable source associated with Australian Team through T Cahill.

Believable4 Unbelievable6

Apparently i was a **** last year so theres no way im due a late crimbo present like this

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 12:01:20
Very confused gave up on Eder last night and Im not desperate for us to sign him but why is it still being reported in a number of English papers this morning? Any ideas Ed? {Ed001's Note - it could simply be because the papers are a day behind, not sure, because as far as I am aware the move is still possible.}

Believable3 Unbelievable1

So what has exactly happened? Everton reps went to Portugal to discuss contract etc with the lad and the lad didnt turn up? Has the lad given a reason why he didnt show up, or did he not want to join Everton.

It wont necessarily bother me if we dont sign him, his goalscoring record is pretty poor in Portugal, even that Joao Silva lad we bought and loaned to some Portuguese team has a better scoring record than this lad. But on the flip side, if we sign him, means Saha is on the bench which is brilliant news.

Agree1 Disagree1

We puttin a cheeky bid in for onouah ed? Kav {Ed001's Note - not that I know of, though there has been interest in him in the past.}

Agree1 Disagree2

The man city player as joined qpr

Agree2 Disagree1

Reading sold for $40mill reportedly, BK wants $120mill reportedly!

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 21:07:21
www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2089611/Everton-swoop-striker-Eder.html- read that the sun paper are useless

Agree1 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 09:38:15
Couple of things 1. Momma onuaha has come out n sed her son is not gna be moving to qpr so there may still be a chance. 2. More importantly reading are looking likely to be taken over by a Russian billionaire. Y the f*** take over a club like that when the might blues are "for sale" according to BK anyway

Believable7 Unbelievable1

There chairman probably has a realistic price tag on their club and not one that is too high so to scare off potential businessman...also we need a new ground ! These people are businessman not f@ckwits ! lower ya price Bill !

Agree9 Disagree1

Because reading is for sale at 40 mill not the 150 mill that we r for sale

Agree1 Disagree0

It's because their owners only want about £40M whereas Billy Liar is demanding nearly 4 times that amount which is totally unreasonable

Agree8 Disagree0

It said in the paper this guy was educated in reading before going to uni in New York so makes sense he'd like to return to his old stamping ground and buy the club. Nothing to say he'll spend millions on the team though.

Agree2 Disagree2

If you value Everton using reading as a bench mark then your crazy!

Agree1 Disagree1

Some fans clearly are clueless, do you solely think Kenwright is in charge of the price? He is a majority shareholder, but Green and Earl are also major players when it comes to shares, I would imagine Earl and Green would have a considerable effect on the price of the club, and since they are only in this for the money, that could be a reason why the price is ridiculously high.

It is easy to crucify Kenwright because he is the chairman, but the likes of Green and Earl, who I think are the real dickheads in the club, both have a s**t ton of cash and havent given one penny into the club and both couldnt give a rats arse if the club goes under.

I am not suppoirting Kenwright, as he is one of the major problems why this club is f***ed, but to put the blame solely on Kenwright is ridiculous especially since Green and Earl are walking freely without any pressure {Ed001's Note - I think you have hit the nail on the head there. Why is it that Kenwright had to beg them for loans, that the club is being charged interest on, if the pair of them are such big fans? The pair of them have far more money than Kenwright ever will, but Kenwright has invested more into the club than the pair of them put together. Questions should be asked of them, it is clear their only interest in the club is making money out of it.}

Agree9 Disagree4

Everyone slates kenwright, and as iv always agreed i want him out as well, but people need to remember is is our saviour in a way, were would we be now if that other fool johnston had still been in control, imagine that?? so we need bill to save us again and fxxkin sell....byn

Agree3 Disagree3

Spot on with the points on Green and Earl. One thing I will say (and I'll be more unpopular than Bill K for saying it!) is that the nature of these people - businessmen - is more likely to make them indifferent to our plight. Bill K is a fan before he's a businessman and has put his own cash into the club... Why do we assume Green and Earl would do the same? To be honest, the only reason you'd attach yourself to a club is for love or kudos. Green and Earl, in my opinion, want the title on the letterhead, but nothing else (until we miraculously become the next United style cash cow).

Agree5 Disagree1

I am an Evertonian working in Reading and the story is hot news here but the big part is he's the Russian billionaire that tried to buy Everton a few years ago!!

Agree1 Disagree1

Green and Earl arent Everton fans, the only reason those two are involved is because they are mates with Kenwright and Kenwright needed both to buy shares in Everton. In fact, Philip Green is a MASSIVE Spurs fan.

Both are businessmen, so of course they are more interested in the money sides of things.

THESE two are the ones people should be targeting, as I believe they are the MAJOR factor behind the price of the club, Kenwright is thier scapegoat and people are falling for it as far as Im concerned

Agree1 Disagree2

21 Jan 2012 09:24:19
The rumours on here make excellent breakfast reading very entertaining if only one of them would come true!

Believable4 Unbelievable0

Ederzito Antonio Macedo Lopes, thats who where after 5m they want so we have to sell to buy him dont shoot the messenger !

Agree1 Disagree3

5m..... Not when his contract is up this summer!. It would be a fraction of that.

Agree3 Disagree0

£500k for Exert as he's out of contract in the summer. The midfielder is £5m

Agree1 Disagree1

Actually its 500k according to the sun

Agree1 Disagree0

Like i said dont shoot the messenger its in the paper

Agree0 Disagree1

Eder Lopes, the striker for Academica, is the one worth 500K as his contract is up in the summer

The 5mil you are talking about is his team mate for Academica Adrien Silva, who is on lona from Sporting, who value him at 5mil.

Agree4 Disagree0

21 Jan 2012 02:37:37
Eder doesn't seem to be on the cards any more. Apparently he didn't show up to a meeting to finalize the deal.

Sco.

Believable3 Unbelievable3

Lopez fantasy story is utter b****cks. Continually Ed pure make believe being posted. Smelling Kopites all over it!

Agree3 Disagree4

Lopez story was true but he never showed up to meet moyes

Agree1 Disagree1

I'd rather see us make an effort to get the Vietnamese lad, feel sure we would get him on appeal.

Agree1 Disagree2

I can assure you no meeting was ever planned with moyes.
