What we need next season:
Howard
Coleman
Jagielka
Lescott
Baines
Mirallas
Fer
Gibson
New LM
Honda
Negredo

Believable24 Unbelievable17

Dont have that much money whatever moyes does

Agree0 Disagree0

No pienaar/jeavic?

Lotan

Agree0 Disagree0

Well say we get Fellaini 25, Heitinga 4. 5 Gueye 2. 5 (plus 60k from Neville, Mucha and Hitz) and sign Lescott 3. 5 Fer 8 Honda 4 Negredo 12 that still leaves about 5mil from sales alone to sign a LM

Agree0 Disagree0

Both on the bench I expect Lotan

Agree0 Disagree0

Dont get the new lm pienaar and baines play well together, not so much last few games but I for one wouldn't break what was the best pairing for 5-6months

Agree0 Disagree0

Everton haven't got the money to be buying these players

Agree0 Disagree0

Pienaar is still good. I don't understand the desire to bring lescott back into the team. I prefer Distin to be honest. We need a better starting CM than Gibson, especially considering the fact he is injury prone. Strootman or Capoue would be good.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lads what are you on about. Fellani, Heitinga, Baines, Neville, Hitzlperger, Gueye out for around £50m.
The Manager (whoever he may be) will have £30m to spend on 5 or 6 players. The rest will go to the banks simple as.

Did the Goodison tour yesterday with Duncan McKenzie as guide - his view is that Fellaini will go this summer and that Moyes will stay if he gets the full funds plus whatever else the club can provide.

Just his view mind - he obviously has some sort of inside line but wasn't suggesting it was fact.

Frosty1976

Believable16 Unbelievable7

Think it will be the banks decision where the funds go not the board. Be very surprised if he/A. N. Other has more than £10m in the summer, and that's being optimistic

Agree0 Disagree0

It promises to be a very interesting summer ahead for us, whether Moyes decides to leave or not, it should determine our course for the next several years. I'm 50/50 on whether I'd like Moyes to stay or not but I'd love to see what he could do with some proper paper.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yea like they will tell you on a tour who is going and coming in, I so believe you there want to feed me any more bull s""t

Agree0 Disagree0

How can anyone be 50/50 on Moyes staying or going? He is a tremendous manager and in my mind, has overachieved at everton considering the funds he has had available. Who would replace him? Every single everton fan should be praying to the skies that Moyes stays.

Apparently Everton looking at Lazios Onazi, anyone know of he is any good?

Rich84

Believable5 Unbelievable13

Do you mean this guy Ogenyi Onazi nigerian midfielder at lazio

Agree0 Disagree0

Do we really want a midfielder called onazi he and us would get ripped and what if the O on some people's shirts come off and it's rememberence day and you've got Nazi on the back of your shirt sounds like a real catastrophic scenario no thank you! {Ed025's Note - i have heard a lot of reasons for not buying a player...but that takes the biscuit.. :)

Agree0 Disagree0

Ha I actualy thought the same thing about the name but you thinking so much into it is funny but logical fair play

Rich84

Agree0 Disagree0

He's at the right club in Lazio then isn't he?!
ToffeeTezza {Ed007's Note - Surely Di Canio must be looking at this guy.}

Agree0 Disagree0

He gets good on fifa.

Daylon Claasen rumoured to be having a trial with Everton.

Currently playing in Belgium, the 23 year old South African international would be free in the summer.

Can play centre mid, attacking mid or right mid, simillar playing style to Leroy Fer who we obviously looked at in Jan.

Could be a tidy squad player and with earning a bit of experience, who knows.

Mind you, look at Oviedo, International footballer not getting a sniff of a chance. Hardly a good advert for attracting players.

Believable9 Unbelievable4

He's nothing like Leroy Fer, he's more of a poor man's Steven Pienaar. Pretty short in stature and plays on either wing or right back.

Agree0 Disagree0

At 23 I think he could be a really shrewd acquisition. He has quick feet, not slow by anymeans, takes up good positions and scores goals, can play across the midfield.
At his age he is only going to improve, so don't let's hear the doom and gloom merchants moaning already please!!.
The fact that Everton have kept this quiet means that they must have had good reports, also he is a free, there will be a lot of interest

Agree0 Disagree0

He is slow. Why make attributes up for no reason? He has quick feet, can play across the midfield and the bloke who said he is in the form of Steven Peanuts is correct. Not going to be enough to kick on to the top 4 mind.

We need an out an out striker not a midfielder.

Any of the following, I would welcome with open arms.

Hernandez
Lukaku
Negredo
Grameiro (not sure)

Agree0 Disagree0

Claasen is an attacking midfielder who was voted best player of the 2009 CAF under-20 African Cup of Nations and has gone on to win 7 full caps. As we all know there are a lot of good players from Africa playing in Europe, so this lad must have something!

"He is slow, why make up unfair attributes for no reason, etc"? do your research Mr Poster before YOU make your assertions, my comment about the doom and goom merchants moaning, vindicated, enough said!
Also one player isn't going to help us kick on, you are right but as I said he could be a talented squad player and apart from wages is free

Agree0 Disagree0

He made his South Africa senior debut at 16, he led the Belgium league on tackles and is a free agent in the summer. Would be a good deal

Ed what do you know about the level of interest from zenit in felliani?

Thanks

Eddy {Ed025's Note - lots of clubs are interested eddy, zenit are just 1 mate..

Believable9 Unbelievable3

What are the chances of him leaving ed and would we replace him with like for like or a different type of cm

Thanks

Eddy {Ed025's Note - there is a good chance he will move on eddy, there are not many felli,s about mate,we may look at fer, but also expect a ball player to come in..

Agree0 Disagree0

I would like to keep Felli, but if Moyes gets the full whack of the transfer fee, then I would be very happy. The more clubs interested the better, let's have an auction! Moyes could then buy several replacements and that 20 goal a year striker, if Jela doesn't pick up again. With still enough money left over to buy Bill a pcket of Everton mints!

Agree0 Disagree0

Ed any idea what colour y-fronts Moyesy wears on a Tuesday? And what he feeds his dog Fido when he's run out of the usual. Cheers {Ed001's Note - I hear he wears red ones on a Tuesday, but keep it quiet, it would cause ructions if anyone finds out!}

Agree0 Disagree0

No worries Ed, your secret's safe with me, I won't say a word. (Now where do I post Everton Rumours)

Ed is it true some lad called Claasen has come on trial?
Joe EFC {Ed025's Note - not as far as i know joe, but im not sure mate..

What are the chances of signing James Mcarthy?

Believable5 Unbelievable15

We don't want him

Agree0 Disagree0

Why don't we want him? The lad is quality and has a very bright future. If Martinez comes in and Fellaini leaves I'd like to think it was a real possibility.

Apparently 'Andy Carroll' is high up on David moyes shopping list if he stays & if he gets the finances.

Believable14 Unbelievable28

Say whaaaaaaaaaaat? {Ed025's Note - not a chance..

Agree0 Disagree0

It is true that Andy Carroll may be going to Schalke {Ed025's Note - why would that concern us?..

Agree0 Disagree0

Please no, please david, please don't!

Agree0 Disagree0

. and revert back to our playing style from the days of Ferguson? please, god, no.

Still here more rumours regarding Carl-Henric Svanberg, (goodison gossip) can anyone shed any light on this matter?

Believable7 Unbelievable12

I think they got it from here. Nothing to back it up with.

Top realistic manager choices 1. Slaven Bilic 2. Roberto Martinez 3. Gus Poyet 4. Gianfranco Zola 5. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

Believable4 Unbelievable14

As far as I am concerned, Roberto di Matteo should be number 1 choice. Champions league winner and available. he has also got Chelsea job out of his system unlike poyet & zola who will go running at 1st opportunity.

Agree0 Disagree0

Di Matteo. The man who had west brom scrapping with a relegation battle, with a not too dissimilar budget to ours, and fluked a champions league win with mercenaries signed for ridiculous sums of money on obscene wages. And had chelski finish 6th. The man's a fraud of the highest order!

Agree0 Disagree0

My 3 targets for manager would be Pellegrini, Bilic then Martinez.
Mr Blue Sky

Agree0 Disagree0

I think pellegrini is a bit out of reach

Agree0 Disagree0

I would take any trophy, fluke or otherwise. Di Matteo got a lot more out of Chelsea players than AVB did, who is now doing good job at spurs. Can't believe Mackey and Martinez get mentioned before him.

Agree0 Disagree0

He may have got more out of them initially, like Paulo di Canio is now at sunderland, but that soon stopped after the 'honeymoon' period was over.

Agree0 Disagree0

any know anything about south african international midfielder daylan classen supposed to be having a trial today available on a free

Believable8 Unbelievable6

Sounds like a famous name?

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes, apparently it's been confirmed by Claasen himself who, initially, didn't want to let the cat out of the bag. Supposed to be a bit like Pienaar, small, not blessed with pace but tricky feet.

Agree0 Disagree0

Rumors on tv sport that Malky Mackay could replace Moyes if he leaves, don't want this to happen, would rather have Martinez or Lennon {Ed025's Note - lennon,s CV is not good enough IMO..

Believable3 Unbelievable16

As opposed to McKay? Or even Moyes? Clown!

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Apr 2013 20:07:49
I'd go for Poyet, personally.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lennons cv is not good enough? and martinez is? I would like to see Wigan beat Barcelona. {Ed025's Note - martinez has proved himself in the prem, lennon has only done it in the SPL, playing teams like callie thistle and dundee every week can hardly enhance anyone,s CV, but respect for your CL campaign..

Agree0 Disagree0

21 Apr 2013 23:25:39
Just heard from a very reliable source in the football world that 'Neil Lennon' is number 1 choice to replace moyes when he leaves his post at the end of the season. Reckon this is a good move, has won titles & cup finals ( all be it in the Scottish league), but more importantly his European run was impressive - especially the win against Barcelona.

Believable8 Unbelievable27

Dont believe he is the manager for us--anyone can win trophies in scotland inc walter smith who was a disaster at EFC

Agree0 Disagree0

I do bloody hope not, nothing personal, but, as a manager, he is a joke, a bad one at that.

Agree0 Disagree0

Neil Lennon is in my list too. at 41st choice! {Ed025's Note - that high?..

Agree0 Disagree0

If that little tit lennon becomes our manager I will be devasted, hope bill realises that most people do not what lennon at all. Would rather have brenda
Cheeks {Ed025's Note - im with you cheeks..

Agree0 Disagree0

Was this rumour provided by Melisa Lennon can't think of any other way we might want Neil

Agree0 Disagree0

I realise I'm in a bit of a minority here but to call Walter a disaster is overlooking the steady job he did keeping us up with a net spend of half a mill while Peter Johnson goosed us and sold Big Dunc from under him. Walter provided stability when we were in chaos. Other than that match were he played about 7 centre halves I think he did okay for us. JP {Ed025's Note - im not blaming him entirely JP, but we played some dire stuff under him mate..

Agree0 Disagree0

Really hope this is not true he's no where near good enough 4 the mighty blues coyb {Ed025's Note - we would be better off with...keith lemon!!..
