He doesn't look very impressive on paper, record at Atletico was awful, one goal in 21 appearances! Hardly stats to make you drool with excitement!

He turned us down for Arsenal last year. If we do get him hope he admits he made a mistake.

If we get him I'd prefer he shows Arsenal what they could have had with more game time and bangs in some goals.
He would also represent a smaller outlay and less risk and would mean we keep funds for reinvestment in future windows.

Hard to disagree with that. Looks good value for money. If Koeman/ Walsh liked him last summer, then why not? Can't blame a foreign player for picking Arsenal over Everton a year ago. He'd soon realise the error of his ways after arriving.

Would like Sirlami from Leicester very good player, good in the area and can finish. Got injured last year and Shakespeare does not seem to like hi, but a very good player.

I agree tadpole as long as he fits what Koeman is looking for I'd take a cheaper option in Perez. If we are splashing the cash then I would look to Dembele over this Jimenez.

If ever there was a like for like for Rom, its him, but he works harder and has a better first touch.

100 and 10 percent agree with you TrueBlue. Dembele 32 goals or Jimenez 1 in 4 is it 🤔. I thought Sigurdsson was a hefty price but proven. Dembele can score we've all seen him do it but possibly a punt. Although I don't see it as that. Or Jimenez sadly I can't add much more to it.

Yes i was told jimenez . I know prices are ridiculous of late . But £45mil is laughable . He is a 1in4 goal a game . Not impressive atall .
