Warren buffet is buying everton

Believable12 Unbelievable26

We wished absolute billionaire

Agree0 Disagree0

Wouldnt mind being a dollar behind him mate. antefc

Agree0 Disagree0

As unlikely as that may be, I could not think of a better long term investment for the Wizard of Omaha than the Toffee's. But my brother in law's brother in law works for Buffett, so perhaps that could help score me some tickets in the Berkshire box.

Agree0 Disagree0

Warren Buffet is buying EFC, do people just put anything on gere just for the sake of it, no substance to it at all, why???? {Ed025's Note - i bet he is eating humble pie now,, :)

Why don't we try loan somebody like marko Marin, Chelsea are desperate to get him out on loan.

tv has stated Everton are preparing bids for Charlie Austin and Younes Belhanda...what's happened to the Capoue situation, has all gone quiet

EtidAaron

Believable8 Unbelievable9

Wud be happy with Belhanda need somethin at the moment just to mix it up roll on nxt thurs night at 11pm when this transfer window is over and we can get on with playin football {Ed025's Note - we all seen last year, what a difference a couple of signings can make...its time for the board to step up to the plate..

Agree0 Disagree0

I think it's clear to most people how much we would benefit from a few key signings to freshen things up and provide a bit of momentum for the second half of the season.

Unfortunately it seems equally clear that the money just isn't there to make it happen.

Town gourfann (excuse spelling) is signing for skunks, 1.5m... Can't believe we didn't snatch him first. Good quality player and surely, but surely in our price range...
Still having nightmares about Southampton performance, and yes I know we are 5th etc but I don't think we will be 5th much longer.. I pray for a lotto win to help my beloved club.. bluepaul

Believable3 Unbelievable6

Is he not the player who is alergic to grass? Imwt he usally comes through for us.

Agree0 Disagree0

I just think with no new stadium on the cards and no new owner, the only real chance to progress and become the club we once was and should be is by finishing in a cl place. I trust moyes and the transfer window is still open.

Been hearing becchio's name a lot.do you think moyes would go for him, he took a chance on beckford didn't really work out for beckford but we got a good price on him. {Ed013's Note - Beckford was a better player mate and I don't think Moyes would spend 3 million on him, he isn't good enough for the Premiership}

Believable6 Unbelievable4

22 Jan 2013 21:14:37
Becchio is at his peak now mate believe me, have a number of Leeds mates and they all say he is at his max, we do not want this guy, i'm not worried though because Moyes won't buy him

Degsy

Agree0 Disagree0

There's something going on with Leeds as we loaned Barkley there which was strange considering the sour relationship between clubs since the Garbutt signing.

Agree0 Disagree0

Becchio isn't a prem league player it wnt be true we wnt even go for a striker a midfielder and defender knwin moyes.

Agree0 Disagree0

This won't happen, Becchio is extremely gash on a good day.

He is only slightly better than Brett Angel

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2013 17:32:06
Momo Diame being lined up?

Believable3 Unbelievable12

Why would Everton waste 3.5 million on this player when they had the chance to sign him in the summer on a free and if he turned Everton down then.....F**K HIM

Agree0 Disagree0

Ye lined up to go the gooners

Gary Hooper is going to Norwich. Everton do not want him and even if they did they could not afford him we will probably sign a foreign striker on loan.

Everton scouts will be at Villa Park tonight to watch Bradford City striker Nahki Wells. A bid of £700,000 could be made by Moyes but at the moment he is currently looking at spending his limited budget elsewhere.
Inside Spy

Believable9 Unbelievable8

Or maybe just because we play Villa soon????

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2013 17:28:19
Luciano Becchio is a target for Everton while Moyes is also scouting Sam Byram.

Believable5 Unbelievable10

I can assure you moyes is looking at byram and white and not becchio.
heitinga is a liability hibbert a yard dog and neville has never been good enough, a good shouter but easily evertons worst captain ability wise so a couple of quality young wingbacks for about 3-4 mil maybe a little more now leeds have a bit of cash.

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2013 17:21:08
Is it true we've moved for Charlie Austin Ed that's what people have been saying?
Joe EFC {Ed025's Note - a target joe for sure..the cost will be decisive..

Believable5 Unbelievable6

Surely there's better value out there than austin, would it not be better to get a striker from abroad where your coin goes that bit further. Austin makes Hibbo look like Usain Bolt and unless we can get him for 200k he's not worth the gamble

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2013 17:27:48
Everton will move for Jason Puncheon in the next few days.

Believable4 Unbelievable19

Why? Because he had a decent game against us last nite? Oh well it must be happening

Agree0 Disagree0

So he had an alright game against us now we shudder sign him. He also had to go for a dump early in the second half. We all enjoy a nice poo, but seriously!

Agree0 Disagree0

They won't we have no money ...

Agree0 Disagree0

Would rather schneiderlin or Luke Shaw from southampton but as has already been said I can't see us getting any of them

Agree0 Disagree0

22 Jan 2013 17:19:12
Moussa Sissoko allowed to leave for 2.5mil out of contract in the summer. worth an attempt surely?

Believable10 Unbelievable7

It is but we won't go for him he'll go elsewhere and be quality.

Agree0 Disagree0

He's the type of player we should be looking at, and for that price would be an absolute bargain.

Agree0 Disagree0

Getting a little concerned about our January transfer activity. Surely it's better to get them in now. There must be a reason why they all leave it till the last minute. Is it like the Boxing Day sales? It makes for great viewing but is frustrating waiting for us to finally even put an offer in for someone. Then if we don't sign anyone will moyes sign his contract. Moyes deserves financial backing and must be waiting for this prior to signing. This makes January the most important month in our recent history.

Celtics hooper has turned down the offer of a new contract lets get him! Loads better than the untried Austin.
Johno.

Believable2 Unbelievable6

Waste of time another player who may be rated in Scotland but not good enough for the premiership just like Naismith

Agree0 Disagree0

Celtic have turned down a second bid from Norwich, why would we be able to get him?

Everton are chasing Younes Belhanda and Charlie Austin

Source: Liverpool Echo

JG

Believable10 Unbelievable9

Jeez, I hope we're not seriously looking at Austin, he looks extremely slow and predictable. We need a Capoue/Diame type player to dominate the midfield and allow the more creative players to play. Belhanda would make sense in that it may allow Fellaini to move back and boss the midfield.

Agree0 Disagree0

After watchin last nights game we need somethin there was no invention or passion looks like it will be last day madness thou

Agree0 Disagree0

Can you imagine the evertonians chanting his name, the Referee will think were singing about him! ...Theres only one belanda one belanda

Agree0 Disagree0

Belhanda looks a class act on you tube but that can make anyone look good, think both players are sadly out of are price range( you heard any transfer news ed) {Edi025's Note - not what you would call specific..

Agree0 Disagree0

Think these two would be great signings Austin proven he can step up another level so think he could step up again belhanda could take us from nearly fans to the next level a CB to or gk and we sorted for Europe

Agree0 Disagree0

And where we getting cash from? Has bill won on a scratch card?

Agree0 Disagree0

Not what you would call specific Ed ? Do you mean you have an inkling as to who we might be interested in ? {Ed025's Note - we have, as im told, made lots of inquiries, but nothing cut and dried as yet..

So we were given the maximum ticket allocation for the Bolton game and tickets have now sold out! I've heard that we were given about 10,000 seats so the Reebok is going to be rockin! Sad I can't be there but I'm really lookin forward to this game now! COYB!

Murf

Believable6 Unbelievable8

We were given 4751 to be precise.
