Hi ed is it true we interested in claudio beauvue from guingamp where he scored 27 goals in a good league do u know much about him ed how good is he he's got to be better than kone plus u know how much he would cost ed r we interested in the Newcastle player on free ameobi I hope not if he can't get in Newcastle team then he won't get anywhere near RSS prefer to have Connor Grant in our squad than him

Sammy Ameobi is a genuinely good player. Know a few Newcastle fans and they all say they've never seen him play a bad game and he's just unlucky that he gets played so rarely. Would definitely take him for a free. Beauvue is would also snap up for only £4m

SammyAmeobi? is this for real or a wind up? Jeez no surely not,the players were being linked to doesn't fill me with much hope for next season at all.Why are we always looking to shop in the bargain basement of Aldi? Where is all this tv money going?this mega tv deal we've all been told about?

.just heard some strong rumours that Bobby really wants Charlie Austin. not sure how true it is, but after the Del-Boy transfer goes through he's going to pull out all the stops to make him the first marquee signing of the summer.I sincerely hope so.

What exactly happened with payet ed, was it the fee or the personal terms we couldn't match? If it was the fee I think we can forget any marquee signings at all this summer.

{Ed025's Note - it was the wages sheeds, they offered £70k per week and we then ruled ourselves out...mid table mentality if you ask me mate..

I seem to remember barrys wages being rumoured to be 70 grand a week. Seems ridiculous to me we would pay it to a 33 year old then refuse to pay it go a 10 to 15 million pound top target. This club never ceases to baffle me.

Maybe it was due to the fact that they didn't think he was worth 70k a week?? Usual negative comments.

{Ed025's Note - thats fair HB, but they obviously wanted him mate and that was the going rate, i dont think its negativity though, more concern that we cannot compete for the better players..

Payet has openly said he want s to stay and is in negotiations to redraft his contract so this was never ever a goer

I have a friend who lives in France he says payet is good player but can go missing for large chunks of games especially the against the bigger teams plus if he is good as they say a lot more clubs after would be after him all in all 70 grand a week not worth the money they should try to get sergi Roberto of barca either on loan or permanent deal he is top quality

Austin doesn't want to leave London so can't see any offer we make he would be interested in Newcastle aren'making a bid until they find out if he will leave London
