Hey Johny mate we definitely need a striker in the summer window, top priority I would say, DCL not the answer. good at times but goes missing.

Am not saying we don't need a striker but I dnt think rondon is better that DCL he is doing well for us right now, England u21 player of the year, scored for England again last night. He needs a run and competition not just replacing.

I didn't say replace DCL if we move our other two strikers on and replace them with Rondon that would be great business, we need 3 Strikers.

I would love Rondon a great Everton type centre forward, would not cost the earth be a great asset.

DCL is coming on great and will hopefully step it up further next season. I would like someone else in to take pressure off him. Ed’s any chance of Callum Wilson being an option in the summer?

If Rondon could achieve 10 to 12 goals in a season along with another 10 to 12 goals from DCL and maybe 5 or 6 from Simms then that’s nearly 30 goals from the one position. That’s the way to go next season forget the one main striker that will gat you 25 to 30 goals a season they are just not available
This way we get blood our youngsters.

Is Rondon good enough for a top six side? Personally I don’t think he is any better than mid table. We need to be looking at better players than him, I know they are not easy to find or attract to EFC at the moment but I agree with other comments that he’s no better than DCL.

I'd we want a target man who can score goals surely Mitrovic would be a better option than Rondon.
