Yeah but judging by his latest interview saying he is the best man for the job, then someone must have given him the heads up.

23 Apr 2016 21:14:44
Well most people are saying he is going, but is he? Will only believe it when it is officially reported. If he does go who is going to replace him, I hope it is not Moyes. He was good for the club when we needed him but we have gone past that and need an experienced and successful Manager who can attract good players. Having money to splash around is not all that is needed for a successful club, a good commander-in-chief is also required.

We have not gone passed that we have declined under Martinez and are possibly in a worse mess than when Smith was sacked.

What and we do not need him now. This person (refuse to be abusive) has destroyed what is apparently the best Squad this Club has had since the 80's. A great deal of deconstruction needs to happen and DM is just the man. He did it last time, by first of all making us unbeatable. The problem with Martinez methods is in order for them to work then you must have a solid defence, this bloke just blithely writes them off. Deplorable for a on the surface clever man.

He will definitely go, but who we get is going to be another close season of bull.
A week before pre season an appointment will be made.
Fingers crossed for Jose.

Conversley to play the Martinez way he needs better players.
I hope that all these people wanting Moyes back are not serious as I don't think I could watch another 10 years of borinf stuff he served up.

I've heard Moyes has a gentleman's aggrement to take over next season. Sensible choice imo get the cub back were we belong.

I hope the rumour is true bring home the king I will march with Moyes.

From what I can gather, Moyes was solid but not spectacular. He had a solid defense, and I think he can carry a Plan B into a match.

You know what you are getting, and he would have one thing this time around that he had little of before: money.

And an owner committed to a new stadium or a massive renovation of Goodision Park.

I cannot blame a man for taking a dream job at Man-U, and yes I recall the frustration of his leaving. But Moyes did break the cardinal rule of never following a legend in Sir Alex.

If its Moyes, well then onwards and upwards, and no spending 13 million for a benchwarmer.

We don't need or want 'sensible '!

We need inspiring. wonderful. fantastic. brilliant

We need a game changer.

We have an opportunity to revolutionise now. Let's not waste that.

Ah right SkyLark you will pay to watch this one but not to watch Moyes, one has taken us from 5th (while our defence was still in tact and playing the Moyes way) to 11th and probably the same this season, while the other kept us in regular top 8. Oh and progress under Martinez has meant that Everton now have the worse home record in their 138 year history.

I'll take Moyes, I know a lot of you wouldn't but he fits our club. IMWT remember that?

You all forget how moyes treated the club?
Don't blame him for taking the Utd job but respect for the club, fans and chairman who made him a multi millionaire . He should of told Utd he'll take job at end of the season and to keep it under wraps till then. Sod Utd shares!
Then fallini and Baines saga. Plus his lies about only finding out that the Utd job was his 2 days before taking it! Ferguson tapped him up months before and that why he didn't sign new contract!
If He'd signed Everton contract the club would of got a nice package and Utd still would of signed him whatever!
He was the 3rd highest paid prem manager and won jack!
Couldnt win at anfield in 11 years!
Grateful for his services but he's had his chance.
Let's go forward and not backwards!

Steverton imwt went out the window when he tried to screw the club thinking he could save man Utd by waiting and thinking we would sell Felanini for 18m instead of the buying clause of 23m. It backfired as the club held out and then in desperation utd had to pay 28m for him (which imo way way too much anyway) . It was that sneakiness that really showed his lack of respect for our great club. So on that point bugger off up to Glasgow notes and penny pinch in the Scottish league with Celtic. Next manager for me is Koeman or billic.

I can't believe i'm reading this IMWT crap, we should be aiming higher than dithery dave, i'd go with a manager like de boer someone to bring the kids through and build the club over the next few years to where we should be.

Some managers are the perfect fit for some clubs and some do not work (DM at united) also don't think he was given the time he needed. We could do a lot worse than DM at this current time and don't forget blues he had us playing competitive footie 95% of the time always around the top six a tight defense best in the league stats wise. I think it would be a good move personally.

You all point to Martinez and his conceding record, what you don't mention that we have scored more goals under him, which means we are playing more exciting football which I would much rather see.

If that is the case then I would venture Martinez has already been told and today is his swansong playing Besic at RB, the bloke (Martinez) is a clown.

the only sure way of getting rid of Martinez is an empty goodison park, once they see the £ sign going to the minus mark they will soon react, remember what happened across the park when the ticket prices went up and for those who want moyes back that means your happy with a top half finish and no trophies for the next ten years, how many youngsters did utd have yesterday? and where were ours?, Gibson and mo at right back wake up evertonians.
