Liverpool fan here, as well as getting news about Liverpool i tend to get some Everton stuff every now and then.

Moyes is meant to be going in for Yoan Gouffran and he will try again for Odjidja-Ofoe (he is an absolute monster)

Also, i'd take the comments from Holtby with a pinch of salt, i remember Jelavic saying similar comments and his dad was desperately trying to convince Liverpool to make a move for him (i wish we did now haha)
Anyway Liverpool and Arsenal are interested in him, and we've had scouts tracking his progress

Good luck on Sunday lads, i'm sure it'll be a good one.

Jelavic was offered around to a few clubs in England well before we actually bought him so to try and make out we got a player that your lot weren't interested in is laughable. The info you are sharing is old news,if you scroll down on this site you will see the two players mentioned numerous times. Can't believe you have had your 'rumours' posted!
I've heard that the donkey you bought instead of our Jeli is going on loan to the hammers and that Ted Rodgers is going to be your next manager.....See how easy it is to regurgitate old stories?

No need to get so annoyed the man was only saying on a rumour site what he heard no need for this bitterness.Tommy Irish Red

Whats with all the obsessed kopites go away

Agree0 Disagree0

Oh leave him alone, he came in peace.... Which is rare for a kopite on here.

Please,Tommy Irish Red,tell me where the bitterness is in that post as I was merely pointing out facts. The names he dropped are not unknown and the rumours have been posted here numerous times. So why bother? And if I was picking on him then surely I would have resorted to calling him the usual names? Are they that sad they can't come up with their own transfer news on their own sites? Why didn't he share any news about his team? So many questions Dan,so many questions!

Everton want Lewis Holtby and Sebastien Squillaci in the January transfer window. Holtby is available and his agent has confirmed his client is keen to move. Everton are due to receive further payments for Rodwell in Nov and Dec - every payment since the window closed has been promised to Moyes to spend, although the full amount for Rodwell will not be received by Everton for another 18 months.

Not sure how accurate this is as I was under the impression that all outstanding fees, add-ons etc had to be settled in full within 12 months of the initial purchase. Or has this not been brought in yet ?

I have gut feeling lewis Holtby will be wearing an Everton shirt next season going by his latest comments i hope we get him he is quality .Stef the blue

Big fan of this lad. Evertonian, 22, quality and not to mention FREE. Perfect deal for Everton.

Mentioned Everton and Arsenal when asked about the PL, so you would have to say that are his preferred destinations, and ultimately I think will come down to who can get CL footy. Hopefully that is Everton.

Would be over the moon if we pulled this off, I hope for our sake, January 1st, 12:00am, Moyes and Everton are on the phone to his agent asking for his services.

Yes i agree mate he did ,mention Arsenal aswell but said his heart felt love for Everton. Play for the club you love that is what i say but i just have a gut felling he will chose us and that would be fantastic QUALITY PLAYER AND YES ONLY 22.Stef the blue

Lets hope dithering Dave is on the case now
and not with an hour to go in the window!

Agree1 Disagree1

That would be nice, but lets also hope Anichebe is NOT wearing an Everton shirt next season.

hi fellow blues i just hate these international breaks we were in great rhythm now after this our rhythm broke if there werent any international break we would have won PAKISTANI BLUE

Believable4 Unbelievable4

I'm pretty sure we only picked up a point before the international break came around. So technically we haven't changed as we picked up a point in the game before and after the international break.

You guys can't keep blaming Phil Neville for every point lost, or poor performance. He isn't a central midfield player by his own admission. He doesn't ask to play there, he's told to by his manager., who, for whatever reason, prefers him there to Johnny H.
He's our Captain and has helped Moyes bring quality and professionalism to the club so get off his back!

Quite agree, the thought of neville and osman as our midfield leaves me having anxiety attacks at the best of times but before the derby?!! but its not their fault and they give 100%

Agree1 Disagree0

I totally agree. I have Blue mates down here in Devon who slag him off. I think his tackling is second to none. His work rate is second to none. When he needs to, his fouling is second to none. His professionalism is second to none. He has galvanised our club in recent years and it is no wonder to me that Harry Rednapp wanted him last season as well as other top managers. Fergie did not want him to leave utd when he came to us. Do I need to say any more?

Agree1 Disagree0

He's a class captain and leader, roll model for all young evertonians. 110% every game and would probably admit he's not the most gifted player but he's been a great buy for moysie.....

Agree0 Disagree0

Agreed with that, till the part about Jonny h. Jonny should be no more trusted in centre midfield than I should be trusted to do open heart surgery! Centre defence or nothing.

Would agree looking back over time he has added professionalism and leadership to the team he joined back then.. but we are looking forward and when moyes kept playing Timmy Cahill past his sell by date, he did no one a service, same is true of Phil and I think Johnny too - a centre midfielder who breaks up attacks and starts our own is long over due at Goodison (Reid, Bracewell, Tommy Grav on a good day, Mikky Arteta when Moyes played him in the middle!)
