Hi ed, any real interest in the 24 year old striker Hosiner from Vienna? {Ed025's Note - i think because he played well against us smithy, people are putting 2 + 2 together, and are coming up with 5 mate..

Believable0 Unbelievable7

Look like AJ. lethal touch, goal machine but YouTube can make 1 player become godlike player. Recommend loan to buy.

Agree0 Disagree0

Seen on various sites he is ment to be quite prolific infront of goal. Haven't seen stats for him. but loan to buy would be good to see if he can take to premier league

Agree0 Disagree0

He did have an amazing season last season, top goal scorer, I really wouldn't mind signing him

Apparently we have contacted Juventus for striker Matri, reported on Sky Italia

Sky Italia are reporting that we've contacted Juve about Matri. Apparently, people are going on about a £14m fee, which I doubt we'd pay, especially for someone who's down in their pecking order now. I reckon we'll try to get him for a season-long loan with a view to a permanent transfer.

Also, this could potentially mean that Jellyman is on his way out, which would be a shame!

Murf

Believable6 Unbelievable4

Agree mate but we have to loan with buy option. It's mean we have to agree transfer fee. Sure Juve will say 14m. And that time this guy will be 29 years old. My point is 14m. too much for his age.

Agree0 Disagree0

Yeah, I know what you mean sitea, but I imagine that the fact that if we do decide to buy him, it'll be next year, and so obviously, he'll be older, so the price will be cheaper. And it doesn't mean that we have to splash £14m or whatever on him after his loan finishes. I mean, if he does fire us into Champions/Europa League, then we'll have the money from that and we'll be able to afford him; whereas, if he does turn out to be a flop, then we send him back and forget about him! Win win in my book!

hi ed. I have heard from a mate that we are very interested in Toby Alderweireld of Ajax, fee is not thought to b a problem around the £7million mark, but waiting for a defender to be sold as we have a few in our 25 man squad. hoping it will be Jonny H. Have you heard anything ED? {Ed025's Note - we have made enquiries tom, good player, not sure on the outcome though mate..

Believable5 Unbelievable0

Hi Eds and fellow blues. I have just seen on the sky window watch that we are lining up a move for Notts County striker Malachi Lavelle-Moore. I know nothing about this guy so I was wondering if anyone knew anything about him? And have you heard anything regarding this Ed? {Ed025's Note - i have heard of him joe, but not premiership standard IMO..

So Moyes wanted to manage anyone that was in the Champions League and his brother was touting him about 8 months ago. And Holland of all places, not exactly world beaters over there.

My god, how it all comes out when they're gone.

Bye Moyes and good riddance.

FYDM (Just add your own words to this if you want)

IRWT

Believable8 Unbelievable5

We have to let Moyes go now mate know matter what he says our does just don't let it annoy you I stopped caring what Moyes said or did as soon as he put that insult of a bid in for Baines I am well over Moyes now and just looking forward to the season under our new gaffer as I say Moyes who.

Agree2 Disagree0

I agree stef. when moyes was at everton he prided himself on how any player who was to leave everton then they would be sold on the very best deal for everton football club. so to then bid 12m for the prems best left back and while he was still OFFICIALLY evertons manager was just plain wrong on so many levels. So screw david moyes. 18BLUEBOY78

Agree0 Disagree0

Want are you on about?
And we get over the moyes obsession he was a good manager for over a decade but has moved on now so have most of us.

Agree0 Disagree0

Your right the moyes era has finished but don't like what people say about him now he's gone they have very short memories we were in dire straights when he took over and has put in very hard work for over ten years to put us in the position we find ourselves in today his net spend over that period his unbelievable and were aiming for top 4 finish, let's be fair if anyone of our fans was in his shoes you would be buying the best players that you brought to the club and as we are aware of the finances you get the best deal possible put it this way if Manchester United do buy baines on the cheap then I will blame our board not moyes we can reject anything if we want, good luck to you mr moyes you deserve an oppurtunity to spend big and try and achieve your goals sad you could not do it with us blues we will continue the foundations you built and Martinez will add too it and make it to the champions league you have one more duty left to fill let Rooney come home!!

Agree1 Disagree0

David who?

Agree0 Disagree0

Who is David Moyes?.

Agree0 Disagree0

Right you are Stef.

Agree1 Disagree1

And he got bloody good money for his 10 years " hard " work. He has dirtied his memory. In my opinion that is

Agree0 Disagree0

Fishwifery.

Agree0 Disagree0

Needless aggression towards someone who put in a hugely influential shift for this club. I was going to say "our club", but feel at odds with some of the posters here, putting on the macho swagger under the misguided impression that it enhances their profile as (yawn) passionate fans.

Agree0 Disagree1

Not that I want see anyone employed out of work, but having given loyal service to EFC and been paid very very well, "helping us" it would look like he and his family believed his own hype.

His honesty and integrity somehow melted away very quickly, leaving at the end of a contract is just poor and shows him as a rather shallow man.
Grass isn't always greener well Moyes you seem to have penned it enough before, I do hope your own words don't come back and haunt you!

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jul 2013 09:06:02
Moyes who! My heart is with Everton and Everton only, it also has a small piece for Martinez, i'm really excited and don't care about Moyes and what he says or does, if he takes any of our players we will be fine like we always are. after all we ARE THE PEOPLES CLUB. COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

"leaving at the end of a contract is just poor". He was perfectly entitled to leave, it being the end of his contract. How is it poor, given that he's seen it through?

Get the impression here, like the 'Kenwright out' stuff that surfaces during a lull, that some people just love to have a bogeyman figure to channel their aggression.

The same people who talk about integrity salivate over the idea of some morally bankrupt oligarch taking over the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Poor as he left the club for nothing, no agression at all in the statement.

Everton after all made a significant contribution towards the fiscal element of the Moyes household, Mr Martinez was I believe on a rolling contract as are many other managers.

Heard a rumour today from a couple of Blackpool fans from my old place of work that we've made an inquiry for Tom Ince a day or to a go.

Not sure how true it is but it's the rumour going around their gaff.

Not totally sure I want him to be honest. {Ed025's Note - i certainly dont john..

Believable2 Unbelievable5

Over priced (more than chadil) and over rated plus the reds would get a share of the fee

Agree1 Disagree0

Don't understand why people don't want ince. 15+ goals from the wing in a poor championship side is pretty impressive and he is young so good re-sale value. If he improves us who cares if the reds get some of the fee?

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2013 18:25:46
his reputation locally is not good has a terrible "big time" attitude

Agree0 Disagree0

Victor Moses all day long, don't need any prima donnas here!

Agree0 Disagree0

I used to play against him at junior level and he was a arrogant pr*ck then. wouldn't have him personally

Agree0 Disagree0

Yes like father like son his dad was a knob as well. If I remember rightly didn't he get ko'd by a jokey at aintree after he put a cigar out in his face

Agree0 Disagree0

His younger brothers a bit of a tit if that's anything to go by

have it from a very good sounrce that tom huddulstone is meeting with kenright in london today. my source has been very reliable in the past.

man itk

Believable10 Unbelievable18

My source (common sense) tells me that's BS
ITK man

Agree2 Disagree0

Haha, funny that, I am watching him playing for Spurs against Sunderland in Hong Kong right now.

I really don't understand why people make up rumours, what is the point? At least come up with some believable ones.

Agree3 Disagree0

Funny that iam watching him now on sky 11am

Agree0 Disagree0

Huddlestone is playing in the Asia cup as I write this post

SouthBlue

Agree1 Disagree0

Thats funny as BK is in Dubai finalising a deal with an Oil tycoon

PLEASE

Agree1 Disagree0

This is obvious BS. If it were true I would be gutted. He is a decent player but ossie, gibbo and fellaini are hardly the quickest and huddlestone is even slower. If its a cm we are after we need a quick creative type IMO

Unbelievably, 3 people have agreed with this, yet he's on the other side of the world.

Can Moses play either wing?
Out of the people were being linked with, i'd have him.
I don't rate Mcgeady, and ince and Rhodes are no better than what we have.

Agree1 Disagree0

He is in china playin for spurs

League One Brentford are set to complete the loan signing of Everton forward Conor McAleny, reports the Hounslow Chronicle.

The 20-year-old has made just a handful of first-team appearances for the Toffees but has shone for the U21s.

Thoughts guys?

Believable9 Unbelievable2

Can't we get him a championship team

Agree0 Disagree0

Think we should keep him, defo a future star!

Agree0 Disagree0

Probably a good thing for Connor hopefully he'll get a regular start which will certainly aid his development. Its a shame its a league 1 club not a championship club as we would get a much better idea of if he would make the 1st in the future.

SA90

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope he does, he has great potential and personally I think he will clean up in that league. He should anyway if he is to become a strong premier league striker one day! I remember hearing he's our answer to michael owen. hope he shows it! COYB

Agree0 Disagree0

He is not premier quality

Agree0 Disagree0

I think a league 1 team is a good choice. its a ruff and tumble league so it will toughen him up and goals could be easier to come by. if he get confidence banging em in for a league 1 team then a championship team may recognise this and take him next season to aid his development. Definitely one for the future

Agree0 Disagree0

Brentford are a decent footballing side their not cloggers so the choice is good. He'll also play under pressure for the first time in his career were every goal really counts, it'll be a good experience for him

So the name on the number 9 shirt in the club shop is Kone. A does this mean Kone. M is being held back in the wings? Otherwise why would you need to put Kone. A on the shirt? Unless he had the A on his shirt at Wigan? Just a thought!

Believable7 Unbelievable1

He always had the. A not sure why

Agree0 Disagree0

He did have Kone A on his shirt at wigan dude

Agree0 Disagree0

Good logic however he had Kone. A on the back of his Wigan shirt.

DiscoDave

Agree0 Disagree0

No. It's just the way he has it. Just like he did at Wigan, levante, Sevilla, psv etc.

Agree0 Disagree0

It's better than having "Ice Cream"
Ste 1878 {Ed025 's Note - love it ste..

What about having Traffic on his shirt instead

Ed have you heard any truth in the rumor that were going in for Arsenal GK Fabianski as Howard is in US agreeing a deal with an un named MLS club?

Also Tom Ince and Matt Phillips to be a double signing from Blackpool? {Ed025's Note - nothing on fabianski mate, but there have been noises about ince...which i hope are false..

Believable1 Unbelievable9

Howard already stated he is looking forward to competition for place.
Blackpool pair not good enough, Robbie would be wasting his money.

Agree1 Disagree0

For 8mil, hopefully the rumours about Ince are fake, but I still think the lad is a decent player. Whenever I have seen him, he has impressed me.

But 8mil is ridiculous, England truly do have ridiculous fees, this lad would cost more than Nacer Chadli, which is just wrong.

Agree1 Disagree0

24 Jul 2013 11:24:05
Ince is a local lad, but unfortunately he has a bad reputation, attitude wise and that's not including having his father hanging around the club.

Agree0 Disagree0

Please no to Ince.
the lad is so far up his arse its untrue.
funny how there's no takers for him

please robbie stay away

stewillow

Agree0 Disagree0

I really don't want to see us sign ince, I think he's overrated, and there's a reason no one else of note is after him. for the fee being mentioned, we could sign much better quality. maybe in 2-3 years ince could be great but at this moment in time he just doesn't improve us
