I see some squabbles over the LB position.
We seem to being linked with left backs and not wing backs. And that's fine because if i'm correct (and i may not be) Silva plays 4-3-3.

Call me old fashioned, but I would still prefer a full back who knows how to defend first. Stability at the back is key to any successful team.

And we still have baines as an attacking LB for the upcoming season so personally believe that's not of most importence.

I am old School, I do like the idea of attack minded football that Silva is hoping to bring to the Club, however, I am still of the theory if in doubt kick it out and a long ball beats a bad ball. We managed to play good football during our dogs of war days so see no harm in Silva attempting to marry the two. Now that would be an Everton to excite again.

Hi ed. If Mina goes to Lyon ed slightly disappointed if he does would you expect us to go back in for Ben Gibson who you've mentioned a few times this summer? Haven't seen much of him since Boro went down and don't know if he'd suit. Think with the new style, we need a ball playing centre half and I'm not sure either way if Gibson can. Cheers mate.

If it's true he said he'd rather play for Lyon then we should immediately look elsewhere.
We need to sign players with a desire to play for us!
Don't offer more money or higher wages, just find players that want to pull on the blue shirt.
I think this season will hinge on players who have a desire and willingness to play for Everton fc.
It's going to be a long, slow process to rebuild our great club and we need players who are committed through desire not money.
Just my opinion but we need to see 100% effort from players rather than players using us as a pay day or stepping stone.

Got to be gutted if you’re a Roma fan. You lose your best keeper. But at least you can now afford that player you’ve been looking at, you fend off interest from the premier league clubs. He agrees personal terms. Booked in for a medical, then one phone call from Barcelona and it all goes Pete Tong.
Might not all be true, but makes for a good down on your luck story.

Can't see them selling especially as it looks like richalinson coming to us it also looks unlikely that digne is coming as he in Barcelona squad for there up and coming tour but there is no mina don't know if that means anything or he still on holidays due to world cup commitment.

Richarlison is happening and I'm fairly happy. I'd bite your hand off for Batshuayi, Loftus-Cheek and Tierney. Don't want Luke Shaw, weight and attitude issues. I would also want Yerry Mina.

Chelsea aren't selling Bats or RLC and we can't take two players on loan from the same team, so this is an highly unlikely dream. Plus we need a CB.
