With all these latest potential signings flying around, does this mean that Moyes is staying as I would have thought that a new manager would want his own recruits.

Ed, does this make ense to you? Moyes has probably had ressurances (wouldn't trust the board though) regarding money or he is sneding the scouts around the houses to get linked with a few and let the board then see he is still keen and wants the backing. Regarding Chelsea, Moyes would look a the lack of security and think again and for Fellaini may be the fact they have no manger for next season would leave him wondering about his place especially when you see the power some of thew old guard still have. {Ed002's Note - No, none of it makes sense. Sorry. I think there is every chance he will leave in the summer. I will stick my neck out and say he will then do one of two things: (a) take a year off; (b) take a one year rolling contract that will be offered to him at another club.}

hi edd if I were moyse i'd ask for all money from player sales and this what players i'd sell fellaine 25 mil and 5 mil for hetinga nasmith 1 mil get mertens 7 million honda 6 mil and would make you money back from shirt sales and bring more asain fans to goodison lescot 5 mil negredo 10 to 13 mil only problem wages {Ed002's Note - Everton don't get the money from shirt sales.}

I agree, his attitude was not right when he was due to leave, what sought of message does this send to the youngsters, i. e. Duffy, if we do not have much money, 4m could be better spent elsewhere.

Im not for it myself as I don't think we can afford to waste 4 million on a player that will have no resale value whatsoever in a few years time, we have enough players with no resale value already, so its not good business sense for a club in our financial position. {Ed025's Note - if we get him for £4m on a 4 year deal, that will be good business..

It makes perfect business sense. He was bought for £5m initially?, sold for £22m and bought back for £4m. It's a win, win situation, for me, although I was disgusted with his behaviour when he left, There's no place for sentiment in business.
