There we go, first loss. Know its just the Capital One Cup but guess we dominated possession again but came unstuck this time. No fortunate winner or Baines wonder strikes.

Hope it doesn't carry over into the leage.

Looks like we 50% possession and in total less shots on goal than Fulham. Worringly RM says the score line doesn't tell the true picture of the match and we needed a little bit of luck creating more than enough chances to win which was pleasing. Not very pleasing to lose is it! Will get everyone saying its only the League cup but that's a Wigan type response to me, played well but lost and should be pleased about that because we created a lot of chances. Did he play 3 at the back tonight? Know we have had two good results in the league all be it I think we were lucky on Saturday, you cannot say thay was vintage but I am still concerned with the approach. I applaud the want to attack but worries me how exposed we seem to get at times.

RM makes 8 changes from the team that beat west ham and we should have been 3 nil up at half time, its just bad luck/poor finishing. People need to get real and stop being so negative

I agree with Johnnyday stop being so negative. The quality was good last night we should have finnished them off but it never happend. Start using your negativity into positive thoughts and we might get somewere.

I saw no fortunate winner at West Ham and I was there what I did see was a team have a poor half a manager change it straight away (novel for us I know) come up with a plan b you know that thing he doesn't have. Last night I was there too I saw a team play some wonderful football firs half miss chances. They then got put under a lot of pressure from a Fulham team who are Jekyll & Hyde be undone by individual errors from players. Leeds this was not.

Roberto will have learnt a lot about our squad as did I its a lot better than its been for years. Glad I stayed over night though no fun coming straight back after a defeat.
