Could be the reason the players weren't themselves? Would be nice for the could to inform supporters etc as the atmosphere might have been a abit more positive and give bill a song which can all agree he deserves.

If this is true and by god I hope not I guess goodison won't be the same without him.

Just one thing though if bill chooses to keep his ill Heath private I think we must respect that whatever his reasons

I trust bill 100% to make sure the right things for our club happen.

CHEERS BILL!

25 Jan 2016 20:22:36
I don't know about the players but he definitely wrote a letter to all of the staff thanking them for all the hard work they have done over the years and apologising for his absence this season. This is 100 percent fact and not just a rumour just thought I'd share the info make of it what u will.

Agree2 Disagree1

Think Bill deserves something for his hard work. Thankless job and some people gave out about him.

He's not perfect like everyone on this earth but tried his hardest for Everton. Always only had Everton's best interest at heart in my eyes.

I think there's more we don't know about that he done for the club and has yet to be revealed.

Weather its just a takeover or his health all his hard work and dedication should be acknowledged and recognized.

The very least the man deserves. Took the reins when no one else wanted it and has us where we are today. I'm very happy with how well he done in his time here and respect him greatly for doing so.

Ensured our so called big club status remained in tact.

Thank you big Bill. As big a legend at Goodison as anyone imho. Hope to see your big warm friendly smile at Goodison for many more seasons to come BK.

26 Jan 2016 01:30:28
O my god! Who is disagreeing with the comments in these threads.

Some person with a lot of personal issues it looks like. Why would anyone disagree with these comments.

Couldn't care less if anyone disagrees with my comments but Bills health and private life?

Some low life imo Think you should name yourself really.

Like that so many people jump on kenwright that man kept us afloat and we all know that didn't sell us to some upbeat ponce who wanted to earn a few quid that was Johnson and Rodgers trying to flog us to save Tranmere when big Bill stepped in look at Tranmere now he wants the best for Everton fc coyb back the man.

I posted "fingers crossed this is true", as in, fingers crossed he has said his goodbyes but ONLY if it means we are being taken over. I'm not a fan of him as a chairman but it is irrelevant as his health is a completely different thing and I hope he's okay and is saying goodbye for the sole reason that we are being taken over, any other reason, especially those concerning his health, is bad news indeeed, wish him all the best.

Just read Tim cahills book while on holiday in lanzarote
Those clowns who played on Sunday should read this book and what it means to pull on the shirt and play for the badge. What these cheats need to learn is that we are the heartbeat of the club and these frauds will go soon enough they either want to play for the badge or they don't message to big dunc give them prima donnas a good kick up the arse and teach them the passion they require to play for this great club.

Believable2 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - a couple of tim cahill,s would be nice alan..

25 Jan 2016 16:51:14
I think the buck stops with the manager, he is responsible for the way we play, and the way we play has been sussed out, Ferguson and Unsworth as the next manager and assistant, swerve getting Moyes back, he is no better .

Agree3 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - no way to all of them for me danny, moyes for obvious reasons and the other 2 are too inexperienced mate..

25 Jan 2016 18:08:05
Is Joe Royle still involved with the club? If so surely he'd make a good interim manager until the end of the season with the possibility of a permanent post.

Agree4 Disagree1

{Ed025's Note - he is an ambassador for the club i think gene..

25 Jan 2016 20:27:02
Alan Stubbs getting experience, we struggled when he went to Sunderland he came back we steadied, he left became a coach, solid team he left and defence went to rat shit, he's got a calming commanding presence and lives Everton. Would be a long shot but worth a punt what's to loose at this point.

Re recent posts

Joe Royle is Director of youth development

Bills reported goodbye. no coincidence that Sundays game against Swansea was our last home game before the period of due diligence expires. The potential new owners/ investors are said to have questioned the seasons performances and how this affects the value and potential and whether they could appoint an alternative manager if this would facilitate improved performances. I believe this is where the link with DM has come from.

Things have been quite with regard to the takeover as we can not approach other potential new owners whilst this course of due diligence is in progress.

Cahill appreciated playing for Everton? That couldn't be true could it? Under Moyes. no way. What a bunch them were under Moyes. They were very proud to play for Everton.

Like that was another bad thing in the Moyes era.

Last season, it was 2nd season syndrom, now it seems it's the crowds fault, is this man ever going to accept responsibility?

25 Jan 2016 19:21:03
Who is available?

I for one wouldn't want Moyes back and think we need a bit of experience. With the quality in the squad and the potential money coming in at the end of the season that should attract decent enough candidates.

Agree0 Disagree0

25 Jan 2016 20:37:06
Moyes left and tried to flece the club thinking he could get Felanini on the cheap even though the buy out was 23m the club stood firm and utd had to cough up 28m - typical Scot 😄 So no way want him back as well as that he was too negative. Koeman imo would b good.

Dear All,

Thank you so much for my tour of Finch Farm.

Your Bill asked me to have a look round so he could sell more half season tickets.

Of course I obliged and had a chat to Tim your Stopper in the process.

I know its going to start all sorts of rumours me being here but even though microsoft jumped up today more than Bill is asking lock stock and barrel for the whole soccer franchise my charitable commitments will just not stretch that far.

I know I am the richest man in the world but my pockets just are not deep enough.

Fondest,

Bill Gates.

Believable0 Unbelievable0

{Ed025's Note - its a shame that bill, we could have been your new toy mate.. :)

25 Jan 2016 17:29:05
We could have been his new charity venture, imagine the advert.
This is Rob. Rob needs our help, because Rob believes he has a team that are phenomenal, and will get Champions league. Yes that's right, Rob suffers from delusionism. If we don't act soon this may spread to his players, it's already effecting the owners.
So please give generously and help Rob see the light, before its to late.

{Ed025's Note - love it woburn..
