I have read we are interested and also that Sunderland are in the same article which then makes me question the validity of the report as we are told elsewhere Sunderland have no money unless they sell!

Leicester, Crystal Palace and Lazio all are showing interest according to his representative. However, it is possible that Leicester hvae dropped out after several discussions - it is possible that they enquired about a Work Permit and might have been told that his Bulgarian passport is one of convenience and was gained after being in the country for litttle more than a year.}

Hi Eds,

How likely is a move for Costa looking from Wolves. I see we have been linked with a lot of wingers recently e. g. Bailey, Pepe, Cafu.

I don't know to much about them 3, but have seen Bailey and Cafu play in the European competitions.

All look like they have talent, but would much prefer a move for Costa.

He is already used to the physicality of the English league, he is strong, works his bollocks off and is class going forward. His delivery, dribbling ability to beat a man looks top draw.

He is young and i read available for around 15 mill, with Wolves trying to do a deal.

What are the chances of moving for him?

The Lad was given his debut after Everton bid for him which then disqualified him from playing for another club this season. I think he's played for FC Copenhagen and now Werder Bremen. the report I read suggest we will revisit this transfer in the summer.

I think we need a gk, at least 1 cb, lb, lw and striker for me to really compete. Obviously its a large list and can't see us getting people in for all those positions.
Any REALISTIC names bandied around in January for any of these. VDV won't happen ever for that money. Burnley won't sell Keane in Jan and I think the 25m I've heard is too much for him.
Any ideas or stick with what we got and wait until the summer?

Reading a few linking us to maguire from Hull. Can't help but think it's being driven by him having a good game on the weekend but seems a decent player. Wouldn't be before vvd/ keane/ Gibson for me though (although vvd is unrealistic in my eyes) . Ed, any info on this?

Think that might be the first time in a while I have seen someone bring up Robinson. Personally I think he's a quality player. definitely need a replacement for baines within the next 12-18 months at the most and he fits the bill for me

According to the mirror they say Anton doncer will play for the under 23s before being considered for the first team perhaps this is to get a good look at the lad before deciding if he could cope with the demands of the game in England the echo also saying he would cost in the region of 1.5 million to sign on a permanent deal
