I don't blame him Zackii, just wondering if we persuaded him to sign extension so that we could get a bigger transfer fee now, we all rate the guy so must be something we are all not seeing.

He's always given me the impression that he's too good for us. And that we should be more grateful that we have him. He should look at Gerard and see what it takes to start a game. If we get what we paid for him I'd be happy. But knowing us it'll be at least double.

Wouldn't take any less than £15m for him. Is a talented player who can win games on his own. But then on other occasions he's virtually non existent in some games.
Personally I think its more of a case he got injured and suspended and that's the reason he hasn't played more. When he missed them games you can't immediately put him back in the team having total disregard for the rest of the players. Have to remember also there's only 13 games played so far.
Who should of been dropped? Most players that I could see were doing well. I think its fantastic the club got him to sign a new contract. Wasn't it good business?
God only knows if they didn't get him to sign it and he was free to leave at the end of the season the club, manager and board would of been ripped to shreds by supporters and the media for allowing it to happen. So for that well done to all who got him to sign. Good business for the club. Even if they intended to sell him it was still the best interests of Everton F. C.
Imo he will get more game time now. I'd expect he's in a position now to get started in games more. Kone can't start every game.
After all I have said I would be disappointed if Mirallas didn't get starts in the next couple of games. He would actually be in my starting 11. Him Barkley and Del boy would a dream mid 3 behind Lukaku. I'd love to see that develope. Be better front 4 than the vast majority of premiership teams.

Totally agree, Kone has done well but Mirallas is one of our best players and has been for last 3 seasons, easy to forget when we're doing well without him. He looked very lively in the short time he played against Villa.

The thing is, although there's no doubt that Mirallas is a better player than Kone, in my opinion the team looks better with Kone in at the moment. He seems to get the best out of Lukaku and they link up well. He's playing very well and I understand why Mirallas is being left out of the starting 11.
That being said, I'd hate to lose him, and I don't understand why he is not the first sub used, as opposed to giving him 5 or 10 minutes at the end of the game when he doesn't have much opportunity to impress.

Mirallas is a real talent and he knows it, he has had some issues over the last year, and is a player that we should try and keep.
What he really needs to do is to knuckle down to some hard work, clear his mind of agents distractions and stop thinking he's owed a start and just earn it! Euro's on the horizon he's in the best place to impress!

I agree Wakka, if he keeps playing like he does when he comes on then he will get the start. I think he can be better for Lukaku than Kone.
