Basically chaps it is a toss up between losing Jags and Felli or Ross Barkley in January. Who would you rather keep?

There is a lot of interest in young Ross he has never really been involved in the starting 11 so would we miss him?

£35 million to the bank and then move forward. {Ed025's Note - so now its £35 million...got to get real mate...no ones paying that!...but if felli does not sign a new contract shortly...i would get rid of him!..

Believable5 Unbelievable8

The bank will decide when , who and how much for , your club are finished making your own decisions untill bill sells up

Agree0 Disagree0

30M... 35M... for Barkley, an unproven 17y.o. player... I'll never understand how some people can just even think for one second that it could happen...

Agree0 Disagree0

Because some idiots paid 35 million for a complete cart horse whose real value was more like 5 million, so anything is possible

Agree0 Disagree0

Where are you getting this from? Felli might go if he doesn't sign a new deal but Jags is going nowhere and Barkley will only go if he agitates for a move (players have all the power afterall). If the bank was making our decisions for us, why didn't Jags go to Arsenal and why didn't Cahill go to Stoke? There were offers on the table for both which the bank would surely have taken if it was making the decisions. The situation you are describing is called Administration!

You need to stop worrying about our lack of spending and start worrying about "king" kenny

Agree0 Disagree0

They paid 35 million for Shandy Carroll so we should sell Barkley to la roja mierda and build a new ground and entire first team squad.

Agree0 Disagree0

As far as I can see, after selling about 17m of players since start of year, all/most of the short term debt is paid off so there should be no need to sell anyone else. All that should be left is the long term loan (about 25m - not a vast sum) which is being repaid at 3m per year.
I think we're in reasonable shape financially, with not much debt now compared to some other clubs.
(Bolton owe about 90 million don't they?)

Agree0 Disagree0

Dream on lads . the banks running the show untill the great bill sells up

Agree0 Disagree0

Sell jags all day long, he makes far to many mistakes and he couldnt pass a kidney stone never mind a football!!

Agree0 Disagree0

Our finances improved considerably after the deadlines day exits, moyes should get a chunk of the arteta money to bolster our strikeforce in january. I think our finances are in better shape than some other premiership teams

Agree0 Disagree0

Have you ever tried to pass a kidney stone? NOT EASY!

It looks like we've got a red-nosed troll on here too!

Agree0 Disagree0

I think fellaini will be gone in Jan to be honest and if thats the case we should get £20-25m for him so cant see us selling barkley aswell

Agree0 Disagree0

People need to realise that the debt wasnt why we had to sell, it was the overdraft, after our dealing on the deadline I would expect to be off Bills back for at least the rest of the season.

Agree0 Disagree0

If Fellaini hasnt signed a contract by January (which I dont expect he will, has been looking more and mroe frustrated to me at least) then he has to go, we need full price for Fellaini, so that should make the decision easy, but none of them will go, we arent under any pressure from the banks anymore since the dealings we did on deadline day.

Agree0 Disagree0

Hand to mouth plan, jump to the banks tune a shocking indictment of bills lack of financial clout . selling your best players might keep bank happy but you are gambling with prem status , sell up bill and give everton a fighting chance

Agree0 Disagree0

Some fans are clearly naive if you think Moyes will be given some of the Arteta money!
Its gone already, and we're still f**ked {Ed025's Note - i think your right, the money has gone.....but come january there will still be deals available, some clubs will want to offload players who they find do not fit in..

Agree0 Disagree0

I wouldn't be surprised if Owen made the move in Jan with Utd picking up the vast chunk of his wages

Agree0 Disagree0

Not involved in the first 11 still yet get to 18 recovering from a double leg break...amazing you can type....what a gimp. I know we can sell all the yougn local ressies for £120billion that should set us right then eh...and get us a new stadium as well great yes thats what ill tell BK next time I bump into him on paddies market...its so simple really like the original post!

Agree0 Disagree0

No its not easy to pass a kidney stone but jags makes it hard to pass a ball. ive got a season ticket in the gwladys street and go the aways... yes hes a good defender but he makes to many mistakes... every game this season he has made a mistake... distin is carrying him!!

Agree0 Disagree0

35m - We could double that if Man city put in a bid lol!

30 million GBP for Barkley is being banded about in the Sunday papers, what's ppl's thoughts? Personally I think snap their arm off and take the money! He's unproven at premier league level and use the dosh to clear some of the debt as BK is forever trying to take out loans and will never find a buyer despite his claims that he looking. Discuss. {Ed025's Note - that is a lot of money, for an unproven player, there is no way anyone would pay that, but if they did...then yes, bite their arm off!..

Believable2 Unbelievable8

I think that's bullsh.t, no one will com with such an offer. Would be more like 15-20M max.

Agree0 Disagree0

Barkley is just the next in a long line of players who the papers decide to try and sell for us. Paul Stretford may have banked the agent's fee for the Rooney deal but it was The Mirror who tried the hardest to make the deal happen.

I say keep the lad at the club and stck 2 fingers up at the top 4 cartel.

Agree0 Disagree0

Lads, Barkley was in London last weekend looking at Flats.
