Premier League clubs are circling Luc Castaignos after Inter Milan made the Dutch forward available for transfer.

Newly promoted West Ham United are the front runners for the former Feyenoord starlet, though the 19 year old is attracting interest from other Premier League sides as well as from Serie A.

Liverpool, Tottenham, Newcastle and Everton are all look for new strikers for the 2012 season and are believed to have registered an interest in Castaignos, though Inter Milan are asking for £6m or a loan deal worth £1.6m - though Inter would rather loan him out to a fellow Serie A side to get the youngster some valuable experience.

Having gained a sensational reputation with Feyenoord for being a goalscoring machine, Castaignos has found first team action hard to come by at the San Siro and now appears to be heading out of Milan.

Given his limited match action in recent times, I don't think a loan move would be good for teams like Liverpool or Tottenham. If they buy him, they can have time to develop him but with a loan player you're asking for an impact over a short period of time. Everton or West Ham make more sense for the Dutchman because he's more likely to be on the pitch for those teams. Even at Newcastle he'd struggle to play with Demba Ba and Papiss Cisse banging goals in for fun last season.

The Milan giants are currently undergoing a lot of changes this summer with Lucio and Maicon seemingly set for the exit and Castaignos could follow. For a long term project, a big club could get a bargain, whilst a team in need of a striker could get some value out of him for a year.

15 goals in 37 games for Feyenoord - not a goal machine! Seems like a good player but we dont have 6m or 1.6m! [AO]

Agree0 Disagree0

15 goals in 37 games? Thats 15 goals a season. Thats good

Agree1 Disagree1

And it is 15 goals at only 17-18 yo

The Chinese art very interested in both everton and Liverpool,a large representation from everton is out in china as I speak including felliani and Ian snodin with two wealthy high profile Chinese tycoon very interested ,regarding Liverpool a Chinese airline is ready to invest many millions on the nameing rights for the stadium

Believable55 Unbelievable14

Bit random. Sounds genuine would prefer a source. Hoi sin perhaps! Hope it comes to fruition. Paul c coyb

Agree0 Disagree0

Sorry about English am Asian {Ed025's Note - no problems mate..

Agree1 Disagree0

They are setting up some Chinese talent thing, maybe a football camp etc... Not talking to millionaires.

Agree1 Disagree1

Koppite alert ..

Agree1 Disagree0

You can't say Koppite alert evreytime someone says something you don't agree with.

Agree1 Disagree0

But you can say kopite alert if they have a dodgy rumour and dont come from liverpool!

Agree1 Disagree0

Except the guy actually speaks truth so it isn't koppite as it's on the Everton websiteand there is a likely hood there are some chinese tycoon's interested with the big Fella!!

Agree0 Disagree1

At least your using some imagination.

Agree1 Disagree0

The website does indeed say he is there, pics and all, sadly Robin Li, the Tycoon is not in any of the pics & it appears it is to set up some type of academy thing......grr

Agree1 Disagree1

It's a Chinese football talent show like the football idol Chelsea did a few years ago, the winner gets a short contract with Everton. Good publicity. They are also in Indonesia as that's were the pre season will be in a four way cup competition. Watch this space.

Agree0 Disagree0

Good on felliani for using his summer holiday to promote us unlike the prima doñas like Rooney and co who's had to holidays already, this shows felli is top class pro and a blue at heart,as for the Chinese that's were the money is along with Russia,so with the boys out there you never no at least there being proactive,I think there was a rumour on here a couple of weeks ago it mention two tycoons.?

Agree1 Disagree1

What Chinese air line. There is only one and that's China Air which is state run. So is the Chinese communist party going to sponser liverpools new stadium.

Agree1 Disagree0

Yes china air will pay for stadium rights for lfc, business men in china by efc, they will work along side government ,and with there totel backing, and blessing, without government approval this not possible

Agree1 Disagree0

I posted the talent show explanation - and the indonesian tournament, which has only been announced today!

According to the LFC Echo Moyes wants Naismith. COYB.

Believable25 Unbelievable9

Where have you been for the last 3 months lol

Agree1 Disagree0

Naismith is garbage, totally backwards step signing this crock. {Ed025's Note - hmmm...please read a poem called...the green eye of the little yellow god, my milton...it will explain things..

Agree1 Disagree0

Naismith is far from garbage and if you get him will prove to be every bit as good as Jelavic, just wished he had shown a bit of loyalty and transferred over, even if it was just to get a transfer fee for him felt he owed us that after nursing him back from 2 career threatening injuries

Depressed Gers fan {Ed025's Note - i know its hard for the gers mate...but hang in there...you WILL be back..

Agree1 Disagree1

Cheers ed,trying to stay positive not easy at the moment tho

Depressed Gers fan

Agree0 Disagree0

Hope it happens, but football is money orientated these days and i imagine Naismith has rejected the Rangers contract to get a bigger signing on fee from any interested clubs. I doubt BK will be willing to give what little transfer funds we have straight to a player and his agent.

Edin Dzeko's proposed move from Manchester City to Bayern Munich is in doubt after the German giants made a bid for Wolfsburg's 26-year-old striker Mario Mandzukic.

Full story: Daily Mail

Guess thats us out ?

Believable24 Unbelievable9

When he scored at Euros, that put us out mate.

Agree1 Disagree0

I don't get it, Bayern have Mario Gomez and they want to sign Mario Mandzukic, who, if
we're honest is only attracting attention because he scored 3 goals in the Euros his performances weren't that good so if he hadn't of scored 3 goals not as many clubs would want him.

Agree0 Disagree0

Puts us in for a cheeky loan deal for dzecko tho? we were after him before he went to citeh! just an idea?

Agree1 Disagree1

PSG also reported to be prepared to pay up to £15m for him. Many more clubs supposedly interested too, all of which could pay more than us.

i know he might cost a bit but adel taarabt could fit into everton nicely and we could get him for 6 millio because qpr are willing to sell.

Believable6 Unbelievable26

No thank you, if he cant perform in a weak team like qpr he will not do well at everton

Agree1 Disagree0

No way would Moyes want Taarabt. We all know Moyes loves a player that puts in a shift and does the dirty side of the game (i.e. tracking back etc), Taarabt is the type of player that drives Moyes crazy

Agree0 Disagree0

BS rating :9

Agree0 Disagree1

Wouldnt want him to be honest hes lazy, moody and would sooner spend money else where!!

Agree1 Disagree0

Fit in nicely? Rubbish! Flair players will not work for Moyes ... Look at Bilyaletdinov. Moyes would prefer a Phil Neville in midfield ... This one has no chance!

Agree0 Disagree0

God no, it would be Drenthe all over again and we all know how that ended up

Agree1 Disagree0

Ego problem! so no chance! {Ed025's Note - i agree mate..

Anyone pleading with Moyes to sell Anichebe for 4/6Million to fund new signings is deluded. We'd get 2.5 absolute tops

Believable32 Unbelievable6

So what 2.5m is better than keeping him, so lets all plead

Agree0 Disagree1

It's ironic pleading mate. We all know 6 million is a ridiculous figure. It's a shame really... If Victor wasn't as moody and showed a bit more enthusiasm, he could have been worth 6 million. Sulking gets you nowhere in football.

Wizard of Osman

Agree0 Disagree0

Thats 2.5 million more than he's worth, i'd snap there hands off. oh n not to mention his 2 million per year wage bill that could be put to use on a better player. b.t.a.p

Agree0 Disagree0

2.5! kidding aren't you! 500-1 mill would do it! He's garbage.

Agree0 Disagree1

So thats still 2.5m more than we had before

Agree1 Disagree0

Ey its 2.5 mill more than we have now !

Agree1 Disagree0

What about offering Anichebe and 2million for Victor Moses? Alternative to Pienaar?

Agree1 Disagree0

I'd take a tenner and a flaggon of strongbow for him! Skeet

Agree0 Disagree0

Nice way to talk about our own footballer if it wasent him for bein super sub we probabily lost more points and finish 8 of course anichebe worth 6 mill he will get first team football and be great and we all will be saying why did we sell him

Agree1 Disagree0

Anichebe got all the attributes to be a decent striker I.e size & strength just a pity his attitude stinks

Agree1 Disagree1

Anichebe for whatever price is good buisiness! Poor mans Heskey, swap him for Naismith,Davis,Whitaker and McGregor from Newco Rangers

Agree1 Disagree0

Let him go for a free, if any club is stupid enough to take him. We are meant to be watching the cash and we give this useless, lazy terrible attitude of a player a 5 yr contract on stupid money . On matchday Moyes could walk over to stanley park and get a player who would be better and put more effort in than victor

Agree1 Disagree0

We would do well to get 250000, he is shocking
