David Moyes looking to buy SWP and Demba Ba with his transfer fund before sales.

I wouldn't mind seeing these 2 at the blues, and with rodwell being sold for how ever much (at least 20m) we can buy another 2 players. . if liverpool don't go for Adam whos saying we couldnt get him? also would love to see Moutinho! {Ed011's Note - Good shouts, all players that would help to improve us for next season

Imagine the following. We sell rodwell for 15 mil and bk comes up with 15 mil. We sign diego perotti(sevilla) 10 mil, ever banaga(valencia) 6 mil and dani osvaldo(espanyol) 13 mil. Those 3 would add so much class. Team for next season, howard, coleman, jags, distin, baines, perotti, fellaini, banega, arteta, osvaldo, beckford. One can always dream. {Ed011's Note - I would be in heaven!!! We would be top 4. Thats why we need investment so we can attract that calibre of player.

There was a lot on here about a takeover very soon. Ed have you or anyone else heard any more? {Ed011's Note - No still quiet on the takeover front. Moyes seems positive about getting his 15 mill to spend and there are no players coming out saying they want to leave, so maybe things are okay behind the scenes

DJ Campbell anyone? {Ed011's Note - Good player, but is he better than what we've got?

Some of these suggestions are good - but the posters have to realise that putting 8 names down on free transfers means we still see a massive increase in the wage bill - not affordable!

Robbie Keane to join Everton???

Even though I would'nt feel comfortable signing Keane I think he may be a great asset and there is still football in the lad yet. With the right club (Everton of course) he could have one of those seasons when everything he touches turns to gold. Lets just see what happens, will be a free transfer of course. {Ed011's Note - He might be more reliable than Owen who has also been linked. He would definitely get us goals

Everton to sign

Owen - Free
Hargreaves - Free
Barton - Free
Dann - couple of million
Klose - Free
Woodgate - Free
Upson (would Be nice but probably not! )

Will probably see Vaughn go, with Yakubu and Yobo. Possibly Fellaini, Baines or Rodwell leave. Hopefully only one and should definately not be Baines. . . He is definately not replaceable - especially not by Wayne Bridge! {Ed011's Note - Moyes would only let one of the three go and i think there is a possibility they will all stay

Ye I was at the City match mate. Couldn't agree more about Vic playing out wide - seems to just put his head down and run but he is quick and powerful enough to do it. Really do agree he should be used as a winger.

Owen's record can't be argued with - give him enough chances and he will score. Interested to know who you think we are most likely to sign this summer. . {Ed011's Note - Its really hard to tell, because i don't know how many will be leaving and how much money will be available. Westwood from coventry is a good shout along with Owen, Ba and maybe Barton as a wildcard. We need to aim higher, because of my 25 years of watching Everton we now have some of the best players we have ever had. The atmosphere in the second half at city was amazing, look forward to more games like that next season.

Don't get me wrong mate I think Beckford will run riot next season - but we need some more firepower as well! Defoe would fit the bill for me but as you say Ba gives another dimension (perhaps the one we all wish Victor would do!)

Do you think Owen can still cut it playing consistantly? {Ed011's Note - Owen has apparently been fit for most of this season, but couldn't get in the side, the few times i have seen him he has impressed, including his well taken goal against Blackpool. Victors best chance is as a winger, i don't know if you were on the city game, but he showed his potential in that match and got a standing ovation!!! I like you would love to see Defoe, it would show our fans and players we were aiming high in the transfer market.

Would love to see Defoe in blue next season - class act!

Demba Ba being mentioned today though. .

Any thoughts? {Ed011's Note - I personally like Defoe, but evertonians i speak to seem to be warming to Beckford and think Defoe is just an older and smaller version of him, Defoe would struggle in a 4-5-1 formation which Moyes tends to favour. Ba would be great, he has been in top form in a struggling side and i don't think the fee would be too bad. I would love Adebayor, but he would be difficult to get. I think there is a real chance of Owen as well.

With Tim Cahill wanting the chance to join a bigger club and Mikel Arteta wanting champions league football, (rumours of valencia being interested) Everton will use the money to buy Nolan, Carrick and sign Barton on a free.

Fans FC Claims that David Moyes wants to sign at least two new strikers this summer, and will offer Michael Owen a move to Goodison Park in the coming weeks. The 30-year-old Owen will be out of contract with Man Utd next month.

Dann is the Man!
Everton are supposedly interested in Scott Dann, the Birmingham City centre-back whose absence through injury is considered to have had a major bearing on the Brummies' relegation is now widely expected to leave St Andrews in the summer.

Not a rumour just what I would do:

In:

Owen - Free
Hargreaves - Free
Klose - Free
Woodgate - Free
Jones - £3-4mil
Donavon - £6+mil
Long - £5+Mil - Depending on if reading go up
Dann - £3-4Mil

Out:

Yakubu - £5mil+
Vaughn - £2mil
Yobo - £2mil

If something silly comes in then Rodwell for £20mil+ would be daft to turn that down for a guy who has not even established himself with EFC yet! {Ed011's Note - Good list, Donovan would be about10 mill, you are right about Rodwell, a good player but with silly money we might be even able to get a better replacement. He has given no indication he wants to leave yet though, so we might even start next season with Rodwell, Baines and Fellaini
